The one soundtrack song where the guy says "am i going crazy?" Out of nowhere can go fuck its self, though. Jumpscares me every single time.
Liked this mod, graphics here is great.
This modpack is great, started playing with it a few weeks ago.

question, how do you get a smooth and stable fps? 'cause mine drops to 40 or sometimes 30 even though I have a decent rig

Quick question bro, what's the most stable and low end PC friendly modpack out there? I play efp 4.0 out of a loaf of mouldy bread and like it a lot but I was wondering what other modpacks I could play that aren't as resource consuming and crash a lot

@@m0no367 eh... sorta. The nice thing about Expedition is the creator took all those mods and tweaked/optimized them to work together for better preformance and fewer bugs. Gamma is just a big pack of assorted mods, so its a lot less streamlined.
The consequence, however, is you caht really add to, or remove from, Expedition because its basically all custom fit together. Gamma is a lot more tweekable to fit your tastes
@@m0no367 I play GAMMA on an i9 9900k at 5GHz, 16gb of DDR4 at 4000MHz and an RTX 2080ti that is overclocked as well. The game is on an M2 SSD. This shit stutters like it's going out of style and sometimes performance drops to 20s or 30s in some scenes. For the most part it runs fine and I'm usually at like 150fps but when it decides to run like ass I definitely wouldn't want to be on a low end. That being said my settings are on the high end, so idk. What annoys me the most is the stuttering when using inventories. I can get a solid 5 second freeze sometimes.
Honestly I wouldn't know fren. Id say you could try expedition as the whole mod pack is only 10GB, and try to play with the settings. Thats a good idea for a video though! Throw anomaly on an old lap top and see what I can run best.
Is gamma worth all the trouble it takes to download it. I'm probably just an imbecile, but I tried 3 times with no success. "The discord is helpful" my smooth taint

Would absolutely love to play with updated graphics, and boomsticks but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to implement. Everytime I try to combine the db folders, Im hit with all kinds of error at launch.
advice 10 months later if this is still a problem lol. If you're trying to install expedition AND boomsticks, thats you're first problem as expedition already comes with boomsticks in the modpack. If you are trying to add Graphics mods and boomstick independently to Anomaly, and you're not using Expedition, I would just use the modpack as its far easier and more stable than adding it all manually yourself, stalker is already finicky to mod and anomaly is no better. I personally stick with anomaly+expedition as it keeps a somewhat vanilla experience to the game, while also making it look fantastic and adding tons of items/content from mods like boomsticks, animation mods, etc. Hope this helps and if this is useless info to you at this point, Then good hunting stalker and may the zone take pity on whatever fruitless endeavors brought you to this place..
id say best looking but gameplay wise its lacking compared to other modpacks

Yeah yeah, but the svarog detector does not work on this modpack. I dont know why. Does not show tye anomalys and the artifacts
There's some kind of weird backlight issue with the veles and svarog detectors with these shaders, the detectors only work in bright day light or if there is some sort of light source behind their screens
My only problem is the scopes look kinda shitty on a lot of guns, as if they forgot they that those are equally as important, as making the general game a bit prettier
I'm still trying to find a stalker mod that incorporates the Gunslinger 3d, or 2.5d really.. scopes in they look amazing and once you do PiP scope it is so hard to go back
Just curious, what’s the main differences between this and GAMMA or just normal Anomaly?
GAMMA is way more survival focused.
Expedition is closer to vanilla anomaly with the addition of more animations for item usage, weapons and gear from mods likes boomsticks and a complete shader and texture overhaul. The focus on expedition is environmental immersion and more bombastic combat, whereas GAMMA is more about immersion in survival, crafting and exploration. In expedition you'll spend most of your playthrough scouring bandages and ammo for the constant fighting you'll be doing. In GAMMA you'll spend most of your playthrough searching for repair kits and weapon modifications/attachments to keep your gear and sanity from shitting the bed. If you want a lighter, more vanilla stalker experience, stick with anomaly+expedition. If you're the crazy dumb or the stupid brave, and want a more "tarkov" eques hardcore survival game, than GAMMA is what you'll want.
Is there somewhere to download just the shaders/textures?
There is a shaders only version of the mod on their page, but it's only usable on anomaly 1.5.1
@@ji1298 the ModDB page also says that only the full modpack contains all the graphics improvements due to some file limit issue.
I have infinite hunger bug which causes my character to die from starvation. Also no atrifact spawning.
Mine did the same but I just got the Anomalous Bread artifact near rookie village and equipped it so I was never hungry again. I ended up installing the "Artefact Spawn Rebalance [1.5.2]" mod to fix the artefact spawning though.
everytime i try installing this mod the game shits iself. Shadows are more pronounced than any other texture, Barkeep doesnt sell anything and has 0 rubles and FDDA mod is missing and i've downloaded the mod like 15 times at this point
The mod is buggy. I have no artifact spawning and infinite hunger bug

Eh, it's a screenshots mod pack, not really a full/diverse pack. I don't think it can really compete with gamma or efp.

Nothing supernatural in this fashion. Vegetation is of average quality. Vanilla textures. The textures used in the mod do not correspond to reality, namely brick walls, plaster, grass. In the former Soviet Union and Ukraine such building materials were not used. And there is no such vegetation on the territory of Ukraine. Therefore the graphical component is misleading for fans of the game Stalker.
yep...i feel so many big mods want to westernisize and make it cod like...not focusing on the authentic side of things and just make it look bright and with these stupid weapons that kill the feel of the zone for me...idk, looks pretty thats about it....would like to find a good add on mod for anomaly that keeps things real ...
