One day, I just want to drive at night on Death Valley looking at the stars, listening to music with nothing ahead of me but road and kilometers of desert in the distance it's just so beautiful for me. I really want to do that one day
I drove through Death Valley 17 years ago. Nice to know it's a place that never changes. The only wildlife I saw was a roadrunner and 2 coyotes walking around together near the visitor center. Wonderful stunning place. I'll never forget it.
Beautiful video! First thought that went through my head is what courage people had who crossed these areas on horse and stagecoach years ago. Fun Fact: They used Uber to make the crossing.
Been there on two occasions, 2012 and 2016. A great place to see if you are interested in Geology. The roads there are the very best I have driven on anywhere, so smooth.
Except if they thought they might figure out how to get comfortable there and criminals won't bother them. Or their wagon broke down and they had to settle to survive.
Damn just imagine driving down here listening to Hotel California on max volume, with no worries in the world in your head. That's my dream right there.
Hi Millan, Congratulations on your rich video. I am a lover of the beauty of the Dead Valley region, after having seen this video, I put goal at my plans, for structure conditions in order to travel to the USA, rent a car and do this trip myself, as a remarkable event in my life! Cheers!! from São Paulo - Brazil
...yeah, thats cool man, are two different beauty approchs. There, at these particular USA regions, the Desert Landscape beauty with their UFO phenomena and mysteries... Groom Lake Area and so on... Here at Brazil, as the media, coast line regions are the most showed, particularly within the State of Rio de Janeiro , the Beach's Landscape beauty ... I strong recommend, to take a look over travel opportunities for Armação de Búzios, which is one of the most beautiful peninsula with a great number of stay options, since 5 star luxury Hotels and Resorts, to a very good options at also comfortable and beautiful Hosts. More than 30 different beach's there, crystal green sea water, amazing food options, very, very charming place to travel. We say here that Búzios is the place that have "more beautiful people ( many girls, by the way...) by square meter", than any other beach place at Brazil... Cheers!
One of my most surreal moments was standing in the swimming pool at Stovepipe Wells when it was 125 f in the shade. The wind was strong which made it feel like a giant hairdryer on full heat. When a very hot and bothered lady got out of her car and saw me stood in the pool smiling, she looked ready to freak out. It is a seriously hot place.
RC GO - Very true, especially in the morning and afternoons when the landscape is constantly changing colors. The area also has other valleys that are at about 4500 feet elevation and covered in Joshua Tree forests. It is an amazing place. Come March 2019 I'm going back for a 10-14 day overland trip there.
One of coolest places I’ve ever been. I could literally walk around there all day with nothing but a jug of water and not get bored. I heard God in that silence.
There is only one place I can find a landscape like this and thats my home country Iran.It must be other places too but I dont know about it.Half way in the video and Iv seen 7 cars and still no trucks.Let me watch the second half. Thanks man!
A horse with no name is how I remember trips to Vegas with my parents Been to Death Valley once I want to go to Death Valley again to play that relaxing song by America
I counted 31 cars (on the road) ,the car which was indicating at side of the road was counted before(I think!),one mc and no trucks, (one truck was parked at the side).I was a truck driver before and I have an eye for unimportant details! I want to thank you Milan for taking me to America! I would have never seen this road if it wasn't for you.God bless!
Thank you for this great video. I listened to The Doors while watching .But the video can be watched with any music anyone likes i guess, as long as it keeps your eyes open and on the road...
Since the federal government re-disignated it as a National Park they keep the paved roads in good repair. I used to drive through it just to allow the Mustang GT to stretch her legs :)
Bob Watson wouldn't it be Awsome lol. What would you do that's the question. And then ask yourself why. And then you might figure out the answer by then it's too Fuck in late. Oh Dear . Drummer roll
Nice road. Driving like this here in Brazil is almost impossible because of the bad quality of our roads. And places like this desert are so dangerous here.
🇺🇸❇⚓🥂🍾🍻🍾🥂⚓❇🇺🇸....¡BEAUTIFUL! The magic of Nevada & California might move to Pahrump in the future, pretty much the closest town to Death Valley.....Hats off to those folks & engineers who designed & built that road infrastructure as some have mentioned.....Looks & probably feels more comfortable than winter out here in the Northeast check.....
At 125 degrees average in the summer, you won't see much traffic. We have been through there in October and traffic was heavier. And, the road had just been resurfaced when this was filmed. And, they do the road work in the winter when the temperatures are more moderate. This place is awesome, well with a visit.
Wow I could watch this all day good to watch so you know what to expect I motorhome to in England I think I've done a good drive if I from lake district to lands end at 421.6 miles I need a bigger country
Thank u for sharing the video. I feel better now that i see the drive was pretty safe. I m considering driving there maybe w a few more people now. 👍🙏😉
O.G Autistler Perhaps it would be an incredible waste of time and effort, but I love the heat and as such, Death Valley is one of those places I would like to take a ride through on my motorcycle. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but hey, it's just my thing.
GREAT VIDEO!!! Say, at 52:28, don't we get our first glimpse of "Scotty's Castle," built by a pioneer way back in the day and the only permanent habitation in Death Valley Monument for, like, decades into the 20th century? Scotty's Castle was recently in need of serious restoration after extensive 2015 flash-flood damage. Such breathtaking high-desert panoramas!! Thank you. Keep those videos comin'!!!!!
The only thing this video is missing is the song "A horse with no name"by America. In the desert you can remember your name, cause there ain't no one for to give you no pain 🎶.

The power of Nature is like no other. Pretty much same thing for over an hour, yet do not get tired of viewing. Amazing!
I used to ride my horse on this road back in 1850s. What a beautiful memory.

Beautiful video! First thought that went through my head is what courage people had who crossed these areas on horse and stagecoach years ago.
Fun Fact: They used Uber to make the crossing.
I drove that in 2016. Frigging awesome drive and an awesome part of the world. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for a lovely and relaxing video. I watched the whole thing while knitting on a rainy day.

Finally without music and no talking! GREAT!!! Thanks!
Apparently you don't know anything about the volume control.
Great Colors, very gorgeous. I like the wind noise. Makes me feel like I'm there😌
What a great video..I wanna go there before I die.. in Ireland we prob get more rain in a day than Death Valley does in a year!!!
I think that might be actually true :D
Death Valley only gets 1 1/2 inches of rain a year, so yeah, lots of places get more rain in a day than it gets in a year.
Paddy - Come and live in Death Valley, you'll save a lot of money on Umbrellas.
Ali, he'll need the umbrella for the sun's rays beating down on his head.
jimmie - very true, but what makes you so sure that Paddy is a male? LOL
That's so beautiful. The only reason why I'd travel to US is to drive thu all its deserts.

I've been to the US about three times, and I still want to go there to drive thru the scenic routes (I haven't had a chance to do that yet).
All the drivers passing on this movie are the same as your reason.
It would be one heck of a spooky place to break down in the middle of the night...

With names like Death Valley, Furnace Creek and Badwater, you'd think people would get the idea that maybe this wasn't such a good place to settle...
