- Bandai namco put up a new english site out for dragon ball sparking zero. On the site, we got a list of all characters revealed for sparking zero so far. One thing to note, is that we finally got clarification for super variation for broly. Broly is labeled as super which indicates he may be getting a z counterpart in the future.

Aside from the roster, I really hope the game doesn't lack on game modes that made the OG games so good. I want to see World Tournament mode make a return, and a story mode that covers everything from Dragonball to Super. Personally, I'm much more excited to play as DB and GT characters.
i can careless about DBS i was never a fan and never will but i do hope they don't cheap out on GT characters and GT characters that never made it into the games like Ledgic
Im hoping to still have the ten day training, then fight day mode. Where you have to train up before the fight, had a blast with that

There is something else that I noticed that I think nobody is talking about, to my knowledge. In the gameplay section, there is a blue icon next to the skill count bar with an arrow inside. This I’m sure means the character has a possible transformation. A number can be seen too that shows how many stages you can go up. I saw the number go up as the match progressed. When Goku and Vegeta transformed into Blue, the icon went away. However, after some time, the icon reappeared again and this confirms two things for me. One, you can only transform again after a certain time you did transform. Two, the super versions of Goku and Vegeta have another transformation after Blue in the game. This confirms, for me, Blue Evolved Vegeta and Blue Kaioken (if it’s considered a transformation) or UI Goku (Sign and Mastered). UI could be separate but I doubt this would happen.
Sorry for the long comment, but it is quite a lot to address here.

Im not necessarily confirming that they are in the game, I’m simply speculating and making opinionated assumptions from what we have available to us. I have absolutely no evidence to fully confirm this since I’m no insider. Though if they weren’t in the game it would be weird given the amount of super characters confirmed already.
Could also work to downgrade back to base form 🤔

This is a bit reassuring. Personally Z Sword Trunks and DBS Trunks do NOT need to be seperate IMO. Z Trunks can be a different costume, and all of DBS Trunks's new moves can be given to his SSJ2 and Rage forms.
Piccolo did not need two Z separations either. Personally I think the only other Piccolo we need is Orange but whatever.
I really don't think we need a seperate Final Form Frieza, I don't really feel like he showed too many new techniques outside of Golden (and Black?). I'm fine with 17 being seperate. His personality is a bit different in Super and he showed A LOT of new techniques. Granted I'm a huge 17 fan so I'm biased.
Broly being labeled Super is reassuring for movie characters. Though I have seen some games where Z Broly is the ONLY movie villain present. That would be very frustrating as we technically already have two different Brolys in the game and no "Janemba" or like "Cooler" equivalent (no not Buu and Frieza lol). But we'll see
Piccolo should have 5 stages imo
-23rd Martials Arts tournament
-VS Raditz and Nappa
Special beam cannon as the ultimate
-Fused with Nail
That move he did vs Frieza where he holds him and drops him to the ground as his ultimate
-Fused with Kami
Hellzone grenade as his ultimate
-SuperHero -transforms into orange Piccolo
IMO opinion trunks should be separated easily for me. He always been and all they have too do Is add trunks super like they are doing for every other character. And piccolo early and end should return if they doing variations. And they were both cold asf in bt3. And also frieza is only in his final form in super. He has a lot more moves and needs to be separate

And it's sad that it seems like people are fine with like a million Trunks, Piccolos, and Friezas (characters we can play as all the time) over like certain parts of DB being represented like movies and GT. Though I'm walking back what I said a bit, I think awakened Piccolo from Super Hero should be a seperate character that can transform into Orange

Well the image of the character screen for example shows at least 4 Vegetas and 4 Gokus. I assume when they are clustered together they might be transformation chains from a specific arc or moment.
It looks like there is Goku > SS > God > SSGod and Vegeta > SS > God > SSGod.
The other looks like its Goku > SS > SS2 > SS3 and the Vegeta Majin line.
There's also a Vegeta > Great Ape Vegeta.
As for the less obvious ones, there seems to be a Kaioken and SS Goku in the top right. Also theres a cluster of 3 Vegetas by those Gokus in the top right I can't place.
I assume Frieza (Super) will get revealed to have a Golden transformation later on.
i personally dont want to assume positioning. globku made up all these rules only for that to get thrown out. aside from transformations, there isnt any rhyme of reason to the positioning.
Dope thumbnail bro first of all. But things are getting updated for sure. Future Trunks I believe is Super based off his outfit. He's also probably the replacement for Z Trunks as well because the one in BT3 that used his sword was the opposite of Fighting trunks which turns into Super Trunks.
So my guess that maybe Future Trunks is both Z Trunks & Super Combined.
And if we change his outfit his hair will change from Purple Z to Blue Super. And I'm also guessing that This Trunks will go SSJ, SSJ2 & Rage SSJ. Only thing I'm not sure about is if the outfit/model change will effect his moves set. Like will we have that sword of hope if we are the purple haired sword trunks idk.
But I only say this also because as we all know Broly Has Blue SSJ but also has the Yellow SSJ transformations look based off what outfit you choose to replicate each look from the 1st & 2nd movie. While the 3rd movie we never had outside SDBH or Dokkan which was Broly With his Tail & Bio Form.
As for Piccolo I'm holding off on that because I still feel like he may have other variations that are not added yet so the info on the site may not be updated yet. Kind of like they just barely put Super next to Broly.
I still feel like Piccolo may have a DB variation that goes giant & King Piccolo may be revealed as well. Also not to mention piccolo has multiple transformation. But Tenkaichi never touched on those. Only regular Budokai did and now Xenoverse.
Piccolo can go Giant, Fuse With Nail was a transformation in old games, Fuse With Kami was a transformation, Power Unleashed, & Orange piccolo.
Which is 5 Transformations total. But do I believe we will see nail/ Kami power ups. I doubt it tbh though I wouldn't mind it.
Just as Gohan & Krillin had potential unleashed as forms in older Games from the Frieza arc.
But if anything Piccolo's either will or won't have his giant form and will most likely have his DBS Transformations.
As piccolo is pretty much the same in most of Z to Super & GT.
OG DB Piccolo was a little different and looked different then. But not much changed after that aside a few moves he was or wasn't using until a certain point on the Sagas like that hellzone grenade or light grenade move he used in the cell saga.
And also gaining a team move with Gotenks with volleyball fist.
I think piccolo early and end is returning. And also z trunks and super will be separate
@@Gfromda23 I agree about piccolo, that's a possibility with Trunks. I'm not against it because that's how I feel Gogeta & Vegito of Z Vs Super will be as you said but you never know they might combine them too.

Like piccolo's ultimates is either special beam cannon or hellzone grenade. Not sure what his orange form or potential form will have as ultimates but that's something that makes Tenkaichi unique any transformation or variation has its own unique ultimate move.
@@TreyGodi exactly in bt3 piccolo early had his rush move demon wave and special beam cannon. Piccolo end has special beam cannon and he’ll zone grenade it needs to return it was so unique. Idk what his super forms gonna be we’ll see
What still baffles me is was the initial teaser made in game or was it rendered and recreated in game.
most likely in game. the model used there looked inferior to the models seen in later trailers

The fact that Z-Broly is more than likely base roster makes me strongly believe that the other movie characters are most likely base roster too, and the portion of the roster that's getting cut is Dragon Ball, GT, and/or unnecessary filler (Like how there was an early and end Piccolo in BT3, which always felt pointless).
I strongly believe that GT will be DLC, as GT DLC always sells good.
Stop saying GT is getting cut we don't know if they'll be in base or dlc and they should capitalize on super since it's newer
i got this feeling that if gt and other series are cut, we wont be seeing those characters anytime soon considering daima comes out in the fall of this year.

@@DerriousGamez Jiren is already confirmed to be base roster. This means that the Tournament of Power as a whole is base roster. This is further solidified by the confirmation of Kakunsa. No, I am not saying that every member of every universe will be playable. Just saying that the important members of each universe will more than likely be playable (examples: Lavender, Ganos, Agnilasa, etc.)
The only thing DBS has had since then for DLC is Super Hero, in which I'm inclined to agree with you - Super Hero is more than likely going to be DLC.

its already confirmed that there are going to be different versions of the same character (which takes up roster space). Been like that since DBZBT1. NGL there are gonna be so many character so idec whos in and whos out theres enough for me to be satisfied already.
well the japanese site didnt have broly listed as super so people werent sure if his z variation would come back. his labeling plus the tweet from daman mills pushes the idea that z variations for the characters with super next to them or more likely.
@@makaisaiyan I'm saying since the very first trailer when they showed the roster it lists characters multiple times already. And its a staple of the franchise so imo that ish was pre confirmed purely cuz every single DBZ game does it.
@@makaisaiyan But I can see why ppl got confused and imo I prefer multiple variants of the same character because that usually comes with custom move sets and animations. For instance with trunks we gonna have super trunks as a transformation for "melee" trunks and then future trunks or ig now regular trunks is gonna get his super saiyan 2 transformation. Which is way cooler than either not having or somehow combining all that into one version. And like I said this game gonna be the biggest yet anyway so who gaf if some slots are taken up by duplicates.
Wouldnt trunks (melee) just make it more believable that we are getting a trunks (sword)????? Dont understand how it being called melee makes it more believable that trunks sword will be combined with the super future trunks

Im all for DLC but its got to be the right stuff. I have a feeling we get up to super hero but with all the new TOP fighters odds are GT gets cut but thats a solid dlc
They said they want all the major characters that people loved from Tenkaichi 3. GT characters were top tier in the comp scene are the most requested currently if you check their interviews. Truthfully if they cut out movies like broly, and cell max I think we'd have had a good roster. Those characters are useless and easily forgotten. Z broly would've been more than enough.

I just am praying we get DBS Broly and DBZ Broly. I love DBS Broly but I think they're both quite distinct from each other and are both iconic parts of Dragon Ball Z. Adult Gotenks would be fire as well.

Man I really dont like how you cant go from 1st Form Frieza to Golden Frieza in one character. that is actually a massive downgrade, plus it could have saved them some work and character slots. I have no idea what the thought process behind this was
Because it’s tenkachi. U separate everyone else why stop at frieza. And also frieza doesn’t use 1st through 3rd in super so it makes sense

Z broly is my fav character so i hope he is in there. Personally id rather 17 and frieza have 1 version but it is what it is. Also i hope Future trunks is just trunks sword and has different outfits. Dont need an extra trunks

Because it’s tenkachi. Known for a huge roster and it’s a sequel. It’s a dragonball simulator that has every character u can think of
