I love my 5000D, and one of the best things about the platform is that you can mix & match components from the entire 5000N series. For instance, I bought it on sale so I got the standard 5000D, but wanted the airflow front panel. No problem, I spent $15 USD and ordered it from Corsair. Then I realized I wanted the clear glass top that comes with the 5000X. No issue, I just spent another $15 and ordered it from Corsair. All of their case parts are very reasonably priced and easy to order.
You got 5000D and 5000X?
@@rodolfotsang4327 No, I bought just the 5000D case, then added parts from the other cases in the family. Only one case though.
@@iamamish Ooo, thats cool. Is the airflow good?
@@edvinnyborg001 yeah it’s really good. I’m sure it would be even better with the airflow top rather than the glass one
I’ve been watching your videos for quite some time now, all of them are very informative and fun. Thank you for doing what you’re doing! (Hats off to the production quality, and constant all-round improvement as well!) Cheers mate!
I use the Montech AIR 100 M/Atx case - Great budget case with good airflow - Magnetic front mesh panel & hinged glass door - great mounting options for sata drives.
Got me a 4000D Airflow and I couldn't be happier with it.
What about the noise ? and wich config do you have ?
I am searching for a "silent" breathable case, so i am hesitating :
- Bequiet purebase 500FX (i love the silent of bequiet)
- Corsair 4000D airflow (i love the reputation of 4000D)
- Fractal Meshify 2 compact (i love the simple design of fractal)
- ...
I have an "Antec P182" since a long time, and i take a long time to choose it, but i am not so thrilled with the supposed silent of this closed case...
@@pierredubois9967 No case is fully silent lmao What do you think it is
I rebuilt my daily driver into an SFF build this year and I used the Meshroom S. It's really really nice and does well with my 3080 Ti and 5900x. The only issue I had isn't even the case's fault - it's the damn 24pin from my PSU being so short making cable management not so nice.
I was always thinking about getting a h5 flow. I wasnt sure but i think you have helped me decide. Im going to use the h5 flow now, thanks!
I'm using the Deepcool Matrexx 70 RGB 3F and it looks great for the price. Thermals prob aren' t the best due to the tempered glass front panel but it's easy to build in. The biggest downer for me though is that it lacks usb type C. Something I will def look for in a case next time.
Got me the NZXT H510 Flow edition, absolutely love the case. Keeps an old tried but true case design and finally gave it a front mesh panel to make it work and look good at the same time.
Very happy with it
I bought the msi mag about a year an a half ago based on your recommendations, it’s nice to see it still made the list.
Just about to start my itx build. I just love the look of the silverstone LD03 maybe in future upgrade to some sort of custom loop. But for now a bit or air cooling
I bought the musetex atx pc case, its for matx and it is beautiful, comes pre installed with 6 rgb fans, and has amazing airflow and good cable managment
I'm glad the Lian Li O11 Evo got 1st. I got it for my final top of the line build after selling my old PC and it's super good looking and the thermals and great
Im building in the 7000D Airflow right now. Its just an amazing case with plenty of space. Managed to fit 2x480er and 1x240er Rads in. Cant wait to finish that build 😊 Personally, I cant see the O11s anymore, its like nearly every build is done with it. I mean, its maybe a great case, but its like all the PCs look the same...
CENTRIC I WANT TO THANK YOU, THIS VIDEO AND OTHERS HAVE HELPED ME FIGURE OUT WHAT PC PARTS TO GET I LOVE YOU🙏🙏🙏
Neo Qube 2 infinity mirror is probably my pick for best looking case. Best airflow case would be the phanteks g500a *not the p500a though they are similar. Then the best budget case would be the montech x3 since it has 6 RGB fans.
I just rebuilt my PC in a Lian Li Lancool 216 and I'm super happy with it. I grabbed the MSI gaming X trio 4080 and it fits in this case flawlessly. I agree that it isn't the most flashy case, but at the end of the day it will fit all of your large components, keeps a relatively small form factor, the thermals are fantastic, and it looks great when cable managed properly.
We live in simulation. I just watching cases for my new pc
Same
ok
???
Yeah who wants to be simulated in a cheap crap case
I too just watching cases for my new pc. We truly live in simulation
Just started a build in the NZXT H1 v2, with a ryzen 7700x in a B650e mobo, the case looks great and fairly simple to build in. That being said I had a pretty bad clearance issue with the stock m.2 heat sink as I was not able to close the case properly since the tubes for the aio were being squashed down. Had to remove the heat sink entirely so hopefully it wont give me any thermal issues with the ssd.
Just built my almost dream PC, watched this and realized I picked the right case (H7 Flow).
I have just bought my son the white Lian Li O11D Evo as one of his Christmas presents. We're going to build him his first gaming PC next year (he wants an all white build 🤦🏻♂️) and I thought this would give him good internal options and hopefully make it an easier experience for me as it will also be the first time I've ever built a PC 🙈
I now what that Fractal Pop Mini Air case it looks cool, and it’s small but still fits a rtx4090 in it. Thanks for the recommending it.
I went with a Phanteks g360a and couldn’t be happier. Love their cases, surprised you didn’t have any of their cases here :)
I use be quiet 500DX and yes, i can recommend it. Prety steady and heavy, at a decent size, not too big not too small, and can fit an rtx 3080 no problem. It could probably fit even a 4090, though i don't have one at my disposal to test out the theory.
Sometimes i am thinking that maybe i did a mistake not going for the other option, the NZXT h710....i think it'd have looked amazing with a 3080 in it too. But anyways, the 500DX is amazing even without the fancy rgb fans. I could add them later if i want :]
500DX lover here 😊
I am currently using the Lian Li O11 Dynamic non evo version, i have a 3060 and a 3600 in there with a NZXT 240 radiator with a total of 9 fans, I am very happy with it, it looks great an s performs great
If i had to choose my dream case, it would be the NZXT H510 flow case, for an expensive case would be the LIAN LI 011 dynamic. But for my upcoming build is the Montech Air 1000 premium from the budget restriction.
Any chance you'd do a vr specific pc build guide?
I'd love to see how different setups work with vrchat, bonelab, assetto corsa, etc as well as with a quest 2 via link cable!
I know that older amd cards had issues when used with oculus, but am curious if the 6000 and 7000 series will/still have these issues and how amd vs Intel performs for max setting vr via pc.
Love the content and the case reviews!
That Y60....I'm usually a "keep it simple" build fan....but...that thing makes me want to go nuts and embrace the rgb madness!
I'm using what I think is a chopped up old compact presario case, so yep I'm looking. I think every 20 years you should get a new case. Looking for eATX compatible. Some of the builds look like art. Great job!
I have 2 PC's. One is in a Fractal Pop Air XL, and the other is an mATX build and the case is a Fractal Pop Air Mini. Its a really nice case, with ARGB fans that are pretty quiet. lots of room too, I have a 3080 Ti and a 240mm AIO in the mATX Pop Air Mini, and its only $85 on Newegg. Best budget mATX case in my opinion. I also have the Fractal Pop Air XL on my main build and I can recommend them without a doubt. Awesome cases and great airflow. I have a 7900x, 4080, and an Arctic 280mm liquid freezer in my Fractal Pop air XL and my temps are awesome.
I'm using an nr200 and it's great. I would recommend it to anyone after a decent mini itx case
I’m using the red and black NZXT H710i and with a red and purple RGB colour scheme it looks awesome. Plus is easily fits my 3090 so a 4090 would also fit nicely (if I had the money) ha
Perfect timing I was literally looking at best cases 2022 like two hours ago
O11D Evo all the way. I know many of you bought a different case and would say I'm wrong, but I bought it this year and no previous case I have had even comes close to the cooling performance (GPU - AIR/ CPU - AIO), looks and build quality. Running 10x Phanteks T30 fans - 3x top exhaust, 3x bottom intake, 3x side intake for AIO and 1x rear exhaust. In fact, my deshrouded Gamerock RTX 4080 (with 2x Arctic P14) temps went down 10 degrees topping out at just 61c. The cable management area could still be improved, however.
haha so weird, i've been watching all of your recommend videos youtube puts in my homepage which are like 3 years old or more and now finally watching a recent video of 2 minutes ago and the small beard trew me off for a second haha always cozy to watch your videos ,it's a great aesthethic
I have the Hyte Y60, and I can't be more pleased with it. It's a beautiful case and a great showpiece. It always gets lots of attention when guests come over.
How is the airflow?
@Pocky the air flow is great. My cpu is cooled with an aio so that runs plenty cool. I'm running a 3 slot 3080 msi suprim x. It sits close to the glass but my temps under load typically are in the low to mid 70s. The fans under the gpu do a good job of helping to cool it.
I really want this case but I keep seeing/reading that you might need a water cooled GPU due to the clearance to the glass. Any thoughts on this since you have it?
thank you so much for adding links
I just built my daughter a new computer using the Lian Li 011 Air Mini and it is a great case that comes with 3 good fans. I have the 011 Dynamic XL and love it as well.
I've just purchased a Keiders W01 case from Amazon Canada, which is a copy of the 100 Dynamic Evo. In my opinion it looks even nicer without the steel frame in the corner of the glass. The TG panels have a nice, subtle tint, dual hinged TG side panel for easy access, cable management etc. It also comes with seven pre-installed fans, six 120mm ARGB and one 90mm black exhaust fan, removable top 360mm AIO cage and loads of ventilation on the bottom, rear I/O and second chamber panel ventilation and has included all mounting screws, standoffs and such along with ARGB/PWM fan controller. At $189.99 Canadian it's not the cheapest case out there but it's very sturdy, full featured and looks fantastic. Again, it's my opinion but I think the Kediers W01 is a nicer case than the Evo for less money.✌😎
I have the Fractal Pop Air. Looking forward to your mini build!
I recently got a Phanteks G360a and it's perfect for me. I'm surprised no phanteks were featured in this video. They are great.
It looks amazing in terms of aesthetics but I’ve heard the airflow is just okay and it’s a bit thin, can you attest?
Love the reviews on the cases 😁
i've been using corsair's 7000D for about a year now
it is expensive but for me, it was worth the money and i was more into them non RGB cases more into the airflow type cases
large GPU's, not a problem. i currently have a ROG 3070 Ti and if i were to upgrade to a 4090, though i currently don't have the money for that GPU, i wouldn't have any issues fitting that GPU in that case
i think the 7000D can still be usable with modern hardware 7 years down the line
Corsair 5000x is my favorite pc case plenty of space and easy to build in. Not to mention stunning.
Just transferred all my components into a Lian Li 011 Dynamic XL with 8 fans. The two 140s blowing directly on my 3070ti have given me the coolest ever GPU temps. Very happy with it and it looks gorgeous. I nominate it for Honorable Mention for case of the year.
3070 gpu, sry useless comment
i also have a 3070ti, i’m a little nervous trying to move all my components to another case as it’s my first time ever building a pc lmao
I bought a Lian li O11 Dynamic EVO black for one week ago. It’s a fantastic case.
Did a build recently in hytey60. Good looking case. Was gonna go dynamic. But everybody is using it. And it would have cost more after ordering more fans and vertical GPU mount
I did mounted a cpu cooler in the front but changed the direction of the airflow to go out, and the heat from th gpu goes out as well :)
I just bought a 4080 13900k and a hyte y60 super excited to build in it
I am presently building my new PC, using the Gigabyte e-ATX Aorus Master motherboard. Finally opted for the slightly older full tower BeQuiet 900 pro v2
I have just ordered a corsair 4000D on black Friday for 80 USD, I'm glad you mentioned it.
I'm building a new pc.. I got a 7600x for 250 USd, and im going to pair with a 280mm top rad cooler, which I'm going to pair with rx 7900xtx, 32gb 6000hz ddr5, etc, all ordered and waiting for the new value oriented AMD GPU!
the corsair 4000d airflow is my perfect baby. not too big, not too small, can fit the 360mm aio in the front. fits my parts perfectly, and it's at a really good price IMO. the only downside is no fans but i already planned on getting 140mm fans for the top anyways, so them giving me 120mm fans would just be a waste.
Hi. Love the content. Looking at the 5000d airflow for my next build. Can I ask when dist plate you used for yours. Many thanks Bob.
Dude your content is flawless
I have the Lian Li 011 dynamic eco and I absolutely love the look and size of it
NZXT H7 Flow or Lian Li 216 is my favourites this year.
Love your funny style tech videos. Big fan here.
I have the h5 flow and man it’s a pretty case. Especially if it’s pairs with the nzxt rgb aer 2 fans.
the corsair 5000t is the best case hands down looks amazing with my msi 4090 suprim
I built recently in the Corsair 5000x and it really is a beautiful case. I'm proud of the build buy no one is allowed to look at the cable mess in the back. Fortunately there is a door to cover it up.
And i tried my best to manage the cable in my 5000X.. at least it looks better now.. thing is just so big for a Mid-Tower so that the RGB cable from case fans sometimes just not long enough to be manageable XD
I have the 4000x
You can fit up to 4 slots gpu into the Meshlicious/Meshroom. The spine can be moved to accommodate bigger gpu or psu
Currently using a 5000x with a 5950X and 3080Ti FE best case of the year IMO is the NZXT H5 FLOW IN WHITE
I use a cooler master storm troper and I'm so happy with this case, after 10 years the case are like new, good build quality, good airflow, excellent cooling and unique design but with not good compatibility with AIO😢
Just bought be quiet! Pure Base 500FX for my first build. Should be fun. 👌🏻
Fractal Torrent is a beautiful airflow monster! My 13900k sure loves it 👌🏼
Wait what’s that smell? 😁
The case that has most recently caught my eye is the Asus Tuf GT502 .
Duel chamber like the o11
I'd go for the be quiet FX I think, as long as your cpu doesn't require monstrous cooling because of fitting room for the radiator. Good looks and airflow with 4 good fans as standard, with a button on the front for rgb so you don't have to mess with (and have running) rgb software.
with the new CPU and GPU, it is going to start becoming water-cooled. mind as well start getting into AIO coolers.
How the amanson h6 passed you up is crazy
It gets easily quite dusty in my home. Is there anything I should keep in mind when looking for a case in regards to dust?
I'm using the older Be Quiet! 500DX...precursor to the version featured in video. Joy to build in and looks fantastic. Pretty happy with it.
the tower 100 mini is my pick wish it was red tho a popcorn machine build be fire
Nice intro!!!😂 I like your humor 😂
Funny, i just received my new complete build parts together with the 011 D EVO 😁
I'm using the corsair 5000D airflow. Great size, easy to build in with plenty of airflow options and looks stunning. Highly recommended 👌🏼
You think it would last me a couple years through upgrades?
im mad it only comes w 2 fans, was gonna get the glass version w the rgb fans and add three to the side, or get airflow and buy them all instead?
I like the 500d airflow, if only they had used the hinged side panels on it instead of the flimsy ones
I got the corsair 4000D airflow version. It was my first build ever, so I can really recommend this case. The 4000D and I guess it is the same with the 5000D, they are quiet beginner friendly in my opinion. I also highly recommend both versions.
@@MrAxelortega1 yes it’s a pretty big case
I use o11 mini, my son's build is a white o11 evo. Both epic.
No HAF 700 Evo for a "Most stupidly expensive but still amazing/beautiful case" category? I'm bummed out, mate! Great job on the video!
I have the hyte case and I love it. Kinda sad it didnt get case of the year though 😢
The Fractal Pop Air Mini is a good case!
I have the O11 Dynamic non-evo and yes the Lian-Li SL Infinity fans cost me a whole hell of a lot, $32 x 12 (running a push pull 360 on top). But the case is a bit of a looker after all said and done. Thinking about getting vertical GPU mount for it, but I ask myself "Really, more effing money?".
What a great character this guy have , i like him 🙏
i'm using a Corsair 4000D airflow (black), I highly recommend it.
What is inside?
MSI B550 Tomahawk
R5 5600X
DDR4 32GB 3600Mhz
Gigabyte RTX 3070 Aorus master
4x Corsair ML 120mm fans (3 intake, 1 exhaust)
2x Corsair ML140mm fans (both exhaust)
Noctua NH-U12S (push, pull)
EVGA 750W PSU
Corsair commander core XT
2x corsair LS100 (350mm)
CPU temps: 35 C in idle, 65 C in gaming.
GPU temps: 35 C in idle, 50 C in gaming.
a verry, very great case
I am interested in what case you would use if you need a lot of storage, I have a Corsair Obsidian Series 750D Airflow Edition because I have 2 NMMe, 4 SSDs and 7 x 5TB disks.
Have the O11 Dynamic Evo with a Noctua build :) With the cpu IAO side mounted. Only complain i have is the topp fan tray for 12 cm fans... sucks 😕 Have to look and concentrate to gett all 4 screws for the fan in a ok posision. Thinking of swithcing from 3 x 12 cm to 2 x 14 cm topp fans. Other than that. It was the fist time i have ever build a desktop. And it turned out great :D Cool and Very quiet with no load. And still cool and not noisy with 12 x noctua nf12x25 fans running :D Under gaming Cpu max 45 degrees Celsius. Gpu Max with NO dlss running, average 60 degrees celcius. With dlss 50 - 56 average depends on game and settings. Still have a lot of cooling headroom :) ( R9 5900X and asus 3080 noctua edition ) Easy to build in, fits a lot of stuff. Did go for the white case, think the Harbor gray might have suted me better. Go for white to show of components thow.
I'm going open case pc this Christmas. Moving my pc to an open frame from an H7 Airflow. I'm done with fans and noise.
imo the best looking cases are asus tuf cases, and corsair cases. both have very thought out styling.
I needed this. Was lucky enough to snag a 4090, but I can’t fit the side panel on 😢
imo the best case for air flow and to give plenty of room to work is the Phanteks Enthoo Pro 2.
I'm looking to build and at 11:41 in your video it shows a cpu cooler with a square LCD cooler. what brand is that and do you know if it works well?
I just got a Hyte Y60 for $159 on Black Friday sale. I’m currently using a Antec 700DF and as far as airflow it’s too notch. It’s a decent case, but I’m working on doing a all AMD 7000 series build and wanted to do it in a red Y60.
Fractal pop XL air white a very nice looking case very clean looking
Thx centric
Lancool 216's front fans are Equipped with 2 x front 160 PWM fans (ARGB or non-RGB) and 1 x rear 140mm PWM fan. not 200mm
your stared own at minute 4:20 made me subscribe
hey just a quick note: be quiet 500dx fits a 280mm aio on top.
Evo is hands down the best case, I have 2 of them :)
The Meshroom S still isnt available to purchase AND deliver in the UK. I have just checked at OCUK and it is STILL on pre-order. I'd have hoped the Meshroom would be available from OCUK for next day delivery by now on Black Friday but as at 9:00 am this morning it isnt.
For me the best mATX case is the Intertech IM1 Pocket - I paid £54 shipped for mine. Its essentially a inch taller and longer than the coolermaster NR200 and fits mATX mobos and GPUs to 330mm length. It's the same case as the Itek Evoke on Amazon which is being sold at a steep markup. Mine came from Germany so I waited for it to be shipped to the UK, but at the price its really good with better airflow and hardware support than Lian Li 205M which I have previously owned, that's similar to the Macube. Seriously Marcus. try and get hold of one, I think yoou'd be pleasantly surprised as IMO its the best mATX case no-one has heard of.
I got the Meshlicious for my daily driver and gaming PC about 6 weeks ago as I got impatient! But if I'd lnown about the IM1 Pocket before I bought the Meshlicious I would have bought that instead and not bothered with the SSUPD case. The IM1 houses my media/HTPC/couch gaming although I'm tempted to put my main hardware in it, even though I cant justify having an exotic APU build in the SSUPD case!
The hyte is the best looking one there Unfortunately I can't play PC games as i only have a laptop not capable and old imac ☹️. Send me a gaming pc lol. Another great video.
Question, i love the last build your case of the year, but at the point in life i am at i HATE building pcs, just dont have time. Is there a good PC builder that can put something like that together that you reccomend?
I have the MSI Forge 100r> I love this case i wont need to worry about Nvidia 4000 series fitting as i would never purchase it. I have a 240mm top exhaust AIO and my temps have been sub 80c under load
i love this case!! I would like to buy it for my new build, but I have only one doubt. i have a pci sound card (rog phoebus) that i should fit inside. how can I do?
For people who want the best of the best, & have a big budget, the best PC case by far is the Cooler Master HAF 700 - there are 2 versions, which are identical inside, but the EVO comes with LED colour strips & a display on the front of the case, whereas the berserker just has a mesh front, with two RGB fans visible for about £100 less. The HAF 700 case can house three 420mm radiators at the same time (top + side + bottom) or two 360mm at the top AND two 420mm radiators (side & bottom), with either being complimented with two 200mm fans at the front of the case and two 120mm fans at the back - you cannot get a better off shelf case for cooling! Its toolless inside with enough room for your RTX4090 and ANY component setup you like, including a truly amazing custom water loop! I'm hoping to snatch up a Cooler Master HAF 700 in the black Friday deals tomorrow!
Markus you seem to always avoid custom water loops - why? Especially with the latest super-hot top of the range hardware, water cooling just makes more sense in every way.
