I am so conflicted about these boxes. I would love to have all this stuff, but that is the point of this video and the reason why subscription box sellers send them to these youtubers for free. To make us want all of these things. But what I always ask myself, how and by whom are they made? I feel, that most of this is produced quite cheaply in developing countries, without anyone asking about the working conditions, or the effects on the environment. So many very expensive things, that might bring us joy for a little while, but eventually end up as dust catchers in our shelves. I watch videos like this because they help me escape from reality, and I almost never buy any Harry Potter/other book/movie merchandise. But sometimes I can’t help myself and do it, am happy when I get it for a few hours, even days sometimes, but afterwards I don’t feel very good about it, because it just clutters up my already cluttered spaces. At the moment I feel that we have to start to be really conscious about how we consume, dress, travel etc. because we are actually starting to feel the effects of climate change, exploitation and poverty in the form of refugee crises... So many people suffer on this world because of other people who just live their lives and don’t think about their actions. And I am guilty of that as well! And of course this does not only apply to merchandise but to so many things we spend our money on. Sorry for this long post, it just comes to my mind every time I watch these kinds of videos, even though I enjoy them very much. But they incite this longing and craving for stuff that feels unhealthy to me. If you read up to this point, thank you very much, I appreciate it, and apologise again if I bothered anyone.

@@nomdeplume2213 My hair is actually naturally thick and wavy. I just use heat protect spray whilst straightening it. I also never use hairdryers.
