An Abra is a small traditional ferry like boat used to ferry people across the creek in Dubai.We took a ride on the traditional wooden boat called the Abra. The word Abra comes from the Arabic verb " abara " which means to cross.
Taking a ride on the Dubai Abra, the city's most traditional form of transport is one of the most satisfying and scenic things to do when in Dubai. No trip to Dubai is complete without riding the Abra.
The Dubai Abra is available from both sides of the Dubai Creek ie Burdubai or Al Ghubaiba and the Deira creek side.
