Nevin is such a talented artist!! I've got a couple of old Tshirts I can't get rid of because his art work on them is too cool to let go of! And it's not lazy to make time to pursue your passion!! Life is short do what makes you happy 😊
I can totally relate to Nevin. I caved in and just settled for regular jobs over the years while watching local guys make it to DC, Marvel and Image. I hate my lack of confidence so much right now. Again, great job Nevin!
This is a real testament to doing what you enjoy and let life work... It really really works... It's just scary. This is awesome! I love comics as well so this is extremely cool
Dude this sounds like my story except for two main points: 1. My first comic was Judge Dredd. 2. I’ve only recently started working on this dream and I’m currently trying to get published.
I didn't discover Judge Dredd (and my personal favorite 2000ad title, Strontium Dog until later in life but I am a HUGE fan. "Galaxy's greatest comic" hands down.
I so want to pursue my art passion again, after so many years of being a carer. I've developed a tremor in the intervening time that makes me frustrated and angry.
Great video, explains alot! And more about passion, time, and interest for the work people want to do! Wish you best for success, well maybe your already successful which congratulations! :)
Um, *_MOST_* comics are still produced traditionally. They are of course *_colored_* digitally, but the pages are drawn with pencil on paper and then inked by hand on paper (if the pencils themselves aren't scanned directly; maybe that's what you refer to). I personally do *_everything_* digitally, but I am definitely the exception. Still, it's all done by using a *stylus* which I hold in my *hand* so the term _"by hand"_ while using physical media is, I think, a bit misleading.
This IS what the public needs
I’m gonna be needing that t-shirt.
ZERO percent lazy. Pure passion!
For me it was X Force #1
on a comic rack in Conway SC in 1994
I'm 15 years old and love old comics. This inspired me to want to get better at drawing and writing and make my own books
if the stories are as good as the art those stories must be mind blowing
