Later marina says that this world is just the memverse and a lot of people got inside of it, including agent 3.

So basically Marina had made a VR thing but it itself, Order, was taking over everything inside it. So everyone who uses the memverse kinda gets corrupted by Order and bc it’s like a digital thing that’s why pearl is a drone. Pearl is actually the drone not just a her speaking through it

I never thought she was gonna be rescued first. I was expecting her to be the last boss like Callie was in the Splatoon 2 campaign.

@@MiracleX19 I predicted that Marina is the main villain, but is actually being puppeteered by another creature.
Looks like I am wrong the whole time, and the main villain is a AI, but it’s also Marina’s own Frankenstein monster.

And Nintendo knew about it on account of this franchise being around for 9 years now. So they planted bait in the trailers to make us think that this would play out like the last two games then surprised us when the content came out.
