if you want to compete ONLY in mario & sonic, you are absolutely right! the wfc is the best place!
BUT, if you also wish to compete in hundreds of other wii/wiiware/virtualconsole games, including mario & sonic, wii-records is the best place... :)

Its a bit odd only to do the events with standard characters.
Why don`t you try to get the best possible records even if you need to do it with Miis?

I don`t like javelin throw too much anymore. I played it just too much. But I have other nice videos with standard characters like in 400m and 4x100m freestyle. Just have a look on my videos.
