Acts of Blood looks pretty cool! Reminds me of a gritty kung fun movie. I'm definitely going to pick up Rita's Rewind lol gonna play it with some friends. Gonna get River City Three Kingdoms as well! Detained looks cool, I forgot about that one.
I really would like to see a cool new beat em up with a new exciting spin on it that’s totally new . The only thing I hated about beat em up’s is theres no replay after you beat the game except maybe to play with your friends but after that it goes on the shelf for 5 year until you return to it for nostalgia reasons. I wish they could figure out a way to make it different every time you play it that would give it some replay ability. Maybe that would be too hard to do I don’t know. The ones I truly love I wish were a little longer as well. I do think there is still a market for it if done right and done well. I also think that a lot of double A studios and small studios could really benefit this generation because a lot of the triple A studios aren’t really putting out that many great games lately and we are starving for great games to play .
You want Double Dragon to be more realistic? One of the reasons people love the Double Dragon series is because of how over the top it is. Perfect example of that is Double Dragon Neon.

Why is 50% of this games look so... meh? Like yeah, we have colorful characters, retro style. But all of them have no impact in punches like it was in retro beat-em-up games upd: Terrifyer is rly piece of something

They could design an amazing GI Joe game w/ modern graphics & throw in the shown remade game w/ it - IMHO these games are lazy remakes w/ very little or no upgrade in the graphics - i can just imagine w/ creatvity & ingenuity a amazing looking cobra commander along w/ destro w/ todays graphic engines - loved double dragon as a youngin but these renakes could be so much better w/ the technology available in todays consoles & pcs , meh, im thoroughly disappointed in these old school remade beat em up games especially if they gonna want 70$ for these games - just my opinion ( capt obvious) & to each his/her own , but just dont see the awe inspiring improvement in these games 🤷
