I can consider this as one of the most underrated mario party games and maybe a hidden gba gem, I know it's hated but you have to know that the gba has limitations and as for 1 player game isn't too bad, there are many minigames that you can play many times without getting bored really fast.
The problem is, a traditional mario party could have perfectly worked on the gba. The n64 mario party boards were 2d flat images, thing that could be done perfectly on the gba. 4 player minigames could have been done too, even some of the mp2, mp3 and mp4 minigames could have worked in 2d. They didnt bother to do the work and just decides to the simplest thing, a single player campain and single player minigames.
My top ten favorite mini games in the game: 1. Bill Bounce 2. Sled Slide 3. Cloud Climb 4. Flippin’ Out 5. Dreadmill 6. Broom Zoom 7. Shell Stack 8. Koopa Krunch 9. Big Popper 10. Flingshot

The only good thing I can about this game is the Shroom City mode. Talking and taking requests from the NPCs was fun and the single-player minigames were pretty cool, too. Overall, however, this game was a snoozefest.
I never understood why this game didn't have a classic four cpu player mode. Its not like the advance couldn't handle this. There are other mario party clones for the handheld that did it just fine

There are duel minigames and there are only 4 playable characters which are Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Yoshi. From what I know, it’s only single player and only up to duel ones since it has a board game and a card where you can swipe it through the Nintendo gameboy advance.
