Me too. Though I never liked the car mechanism in the regular game, I really loved the mini games in this installment
I actually liked the car mechanic, despite the fact you're constantly competing with your opponents it's still a party after all, an adventure you need to complete together.

The oldest memory i have in my entire life is watching a video where there is 4 players in a castle like enviroment and a weird music is playing.I think i was 3-4.

This isn't just the video that introduced me to Mario Party. This isn't just the video that introduced me to Super Mario franchise. This is the video that introduced me to Nintendo in general. When I was like 4 or 5 my grandma let me use her laptop to watch UA-cam because I didn't really do anything else back then. I was scrolling through recommended when I saw this. This made me want my Nintendo soo badly so I watched more and more Mario Party videos, mostly from 9 and 10. This made me want a Wii U because I learned that it can play Wii games too. My mom said that if my dad will come back from work (he used to go to Norway for 2 weeks) then he will buy it for me. I was so happy about getting my own console. Then, it arrived early because my mom wanted to surprise me. She told me not to open it until my dad comes back and we get back home. I waited. When we came back home, I realized that the Wii U didn't came with Mario Kart 8, as it was on the box. Then my parents went to the shop and bought me Mario Party 10. These are my memories with Mario and Wii U
I got a similiar story but my aunt had a wii and i played with them and wanted a wii too, my mom ended up buying me a wii u and i was super happy and i got so much games, i became a mario master when i was maybe 5, and even completed many games. I still love my wii u so much and play it almost every day the wii u is almost 9 years old. My favourite game of all time is galaxy 1 i remeber that my granny got me the game and more games. There is the beginning where ia the first grand star, i didnt quite understand yet but my mom played it. I vompleted it when i was probably 6 or something, i didnt even understand english so my mom read me the text and i played. oh the memories

I used to watch 10 hour versions of this specific Mario party game like a fucking maniac when I was 7-8 years old for no reason at all but I don't regret anything.

Mario Party 9 had the best selection of minigames in the series. It gets dragged down a bit by how the car mechanic can be frustrating sometimes, but it doesn’t ruin my fun and overall, the minigames are still what matters most.

Mario Party 9 has some excellent minigames. There won’t loads and loads of forced motion control garbage so that you dreaded each game and there was enough luck to go around. The story mode wasn’t bad and the characters, bosses and extras were solid. The only thing really wrong with the game is the actual party gameplay. I enjoy 9 and at times prefer it to 8 however nothing beats playing one of the gamecube Mario parties.

Oh man, I remember the first time I was home alone at age 9, I used to watch this on my parents big bed, and do the winning and losing animation on all of the characters, even whenthe Koopa hid in his shell, I used to spin in the air, and when I landed, make myself into a ball, to look like I was in my shell, good times

It's so cool how the games are so addicting and fun that you don't wanna get off. I'm glad that all of the Mario games are fun and kid friendly(unlike sonic but it's just that some sonic games, like that shadow game, are not really appropriate).
