- Easter weekend 2013 in trinidad- gunapo river pool 1. the owner of the land hired a DJ to play music. when the tassa music played, the dance competition started. Everyone was trying to out dance each other.

tassa and chutney is part and parcel of trinidad culture as any, so get over it! and no i'm not indian, as a matter of fact i'm an african descendant born in the heart of east POS, and it's about time we stop ignoring the great contributions that the east indian community has made to trinbago and stop hating. i'm getting sick of all the racist drama.

I am Trinidadian but that was disrespectful. Guyanese cant wine, tic toc, bubble, bump etc better than other West Indians but they sure can dance to Chutney music better than them. Have Trinidad or another W.I. country try to versus Guyanese in dancing to Chutney or tassa music and see the magic. Do that and see who wins.
