- It's been a long, long time since I've been completely BIS for a record.
The enhance preset boost helped a whole lot with making the gear, for sure!
Flugel Unwix 5 is extremely strong, so I moved my goal to sub-3, rather than settle for something else.
I chose Hunter for this record because I always enjoyed the Bujin fight vs. Partisan.
I actually had been practicing this fight for a while, and my methods kept changing as my times got faster. In the end, you just can't ignore OC-Spiral T2.
My biggest issue was that although OC-Spiral T2 was extremely broken, it did not charge PB as fast as I needed to sub-3. Technically, you could run around only using OC-Spiral for the entire fight and get a time pretty close to this; however, the main issue was that you would not have PB unless you used Techter Sub, which gives up the Slayer Sub crit rate and pp recovery.
That's when Orgsys/Increza units come into play. I was able to make a single Orgsys unit, which when combined with mixing in Partisan PAs, helped me "barely" get my PB in time.

hypothetically, how would the wire do in a fight like this? i use the wired lance a lot and wonder how it does in a boss fight, also the parries on this is just unthinkable, holy hell!
Wire’s still the preferred hunter weapon to Sword mw, so you’re fine!
For Bujin specifically, it’d actually mainly be a sword fight using spiral alongside more sidesteps, cleave, and alteration. Wire Hellish Fall could be used for dome.
I personally prefer Sword/Wire for Ikusa Bujin since you can use Hellish Fall on many of its double-attacks. 😊
