India in a way treats army soldiers through more of a spiritual basis than tactical. These are the most efficient men possible, only more efficient people you can find in terms of basic human efficiency would be Yogis but below that level it's their realm. All that level of exposure to mental and physical torture tears them apart to such a point where the notion of impossible is just gone from their head, it is all dissolved. All that is left is a man unafraid of death, efficient and able to do anything that is required. But they haven't passed until they have seen their first combat and survived because this shows their ability to act when everything goes to Shit. These are the words from a Officer who was in the force himself went through all the training and combat experiences himself. Since this is a land deeply entrenched in spiritual ideals, it has kept this fire pure in Army. Hence they foster dispassion for themselves and passion for their country and people. This is why the last words in Hindi is "Serve others before yourself". We firmly believe that happiness is incomplete if there are others not able to partake in it. Once everyone is happy, the land itself will be happy and prosper hence passion to serve others is much more important while making yourself in such a way that you are never a issue. Regarding your question on Indian Mech Inf: most Indian infantry is foot infantry, for the simple reason that the primary conflict zone (Himalayas) are not conducive to mechanised/motorised warfare. The Mechanised Infantry Regiment of the Indian Army is deployed almost exclusively in the Thar Desert, Punjab and the like alongside the Indian Armoured Corps. When my dad was in, 1 Squadron of tanks (12-14 tanks) had 1-2 companies of mechanised infantry with 24 BMPs

The sentence in Hindi at the very end says "Khood se pahle doorse kii sewaa", meaning "Service to Others before service to oneself". Khood = Oneself, se = to, pahle = before, doosre = others, kii = to, sewaa = service. The last sentence in English in the video of "Service before Self" is basically the a more pithy translation.
The indian firearm is Sig716i which was resently acquired from your country as part of upgrading from 5.56 calibre to 7.62x51mm.We felt the need for a heavier bullet alongside a lighter rifle because of the terrorists and enemy forces using bulletproof jackets.

We have two Mechanised Infantry Regiments such as 1 MECHANISED INFANTRY 2 THE BRIGADE OF THE GUARDS in that THE BRIGADE OF THE GUARDS regiment has the most beautiful ceremonial uniform in the Indian army it's worth googling their uniform We more focus Infantry but in recent years focus has shifted to Mechanised also!!
In Indian army except for mountain corp majority of the force is highly mechanized infantry who work with Bmp, Btr, Tata Kestral, Armored trucks, Mobile SAM Systems & highly Mobile Artillery Units along side Tanks like T90, T72 & Arjun MBT because they work as highly mobile IBGs (Integrated Battle Group) who move and work as one Unit, they have been training, modifying & perfecting it for past two Decades after Kargil war. But right now Indian Army is also upgrading Mountain Corps into Mechanized infantry for Mountain Warfare by inducting armored cars, armored trucks, Self Propelled Artillerys & Light Tanks.
The Hindi writing in the end says..."Before yourself, comes service of others" (here 'before' shouldn't be considered as "in front of you" but as "in priority to yourself")
India has 50 battalions in Total of Mechanised Forces Mechanised infantry regiment has 27 Battalions Brigade of Guards has 23 battalions so we do have a fairly big mechanised forces.
Indian Army at the time of this training was on the phase of adopting new standard Issue weapons : ie - sig 716 from US - 160000 in service and other standard issue is AK 203 indian made . and for both the guns sights were not finalised ; even the ones in shortlist Israel's SMASH 2000 and its indian Equivalent systems are still classified.

Thanks for the love for indian army by the us army whenever I watch the u.s army video I get goosebumps to join u.s forces I don't know how long I have to wait to be in us forces.....I can't just wait...❤️❤️
Theo the rifle they use now in the Indian army is an LMT .308 cal battle rifle pal, they just got them rifle I think in 2019 pal, Military Arms Channel did a video on that rifle pal.
Nothing makes me smile as much as this.
the phrase in the end is the motto of indian army, it says service before self
9:39. It means before serving yourself, serve others.
Love and respect to our American brothers and allies from India. Thank you.
The bagpipers were probably
Playing the last of the mohicans soundtrack, the drummers were giving in some Indian touch to it . But at times that sounded like the last of mohicans soundtrack .
The rifle used by the Indians is the sig716i. This is most probably an indian army mechanized infantry battalion with bmp 2s.
A soldier is a soldier, respect to all my Brothers. 2CG.
The rifle @ 3.09 is 7.62x51 battle rifle. This rifle round is bigger than AK
Our Indian Soldier says अतिथि देवो भव (Atithi Devo Bhava) ❤❤.
Is that bag pipe music from the sound track to the film last of the mohicans?
They look like Roman soldier helmets......it is sun worship.
Ah cheers i recognise that music now. That's been doing my head in. 🎶👍
Yes! The Last of the Mohicans 😍
At the end, it basically says "serving others before self". Also it would be so nice if both the Indian Army & US Army work in a joint operation against a common enemy
The thing it said in the end is that "serve others before ur self ”
The rifle was SIG 716..
There's a separate Mechanised Infantry Regiment, that really focusses on the western frontier, and uses a lot of BMP (Russian APC) systems.
Love From INDIA For USA 🙏🥰🇮🇳😍🇺🇸🥰🙏
For Great Friendship Between India And America
Best Of Luck For Both Country Military Exercise
India Is Best 🙏🥰🇮🇳😍🇮🇳🥰🙏
We have two Mechanised Infantry Regiments such as
1 MECHANISED INFANTRY
2 THE BRIGADE OF THE GUARDS
in that THE BRIGADE OF THE GUARDS regiment has the most beautiful ceremonial uniform in the Indian army it's worth googling their uniform
We more focus Infantry but in recent years focus has shifted to Mechanised also!!
Last year the Indian army ordered over some 70k Sig Sauer 716s. The Kalashnikov group was upset.
Indian army band playing 'last of mohicans'. Mix with Indian touch Great to listen one of my favourite music. Jai hind💪💪👍👍
We are currently using mix of AK-203 and sig sauer 716i
Correction: AK-203 deal is still on hold
@@exurgemars yeah 👍
It translates to Serving other before self. Love from India
Indian soldiers always work for peace.. our. Country not promoting. War. Keep smile be happy. Love every one
Isn't anyone going to talk about the thoughtful track selection from *"The Last Of The Mohicans"* . Perfect choice.!! ❤❤❤
'serving others before oneself' at the end
India has 50 battalions in Total of Mechanised Forces
Mechanised infantry regiment has 27 Battalions
Brigade of Guards has 23 battalions
so we do have a fairly big mechanised forces.
Those pipers were also went through fast rope aka slidering..Jai Hind
the last line was : serving others before oneself 🖤
"Service for others before ourselves" (I beleive that is my best translation by me for sentence written in Hindi at the end)
8.06 indian army has a separate regiment for mechanics called the mechanised infantry
The quote at the end says, "Serving others before ourselves."
The weapon you saw Indian army use was sig sauer 716
By the way love from India
'खुद से पहले दूसरों की सेवा'- 'Serving others before yourself'
भारतीय सेना "कम सामान्य रहती है"- Indian Army "live a less ordinary"
Sarge !! did you notice the music played by bagpipers? it was famous music from The Last of Mohicans which sadly describes how in a french-Indian war the Europeans vanished Native Indian people in Americas.
I guess you missed that the band was playing the "Indianized" version of the theme of The Last of the Mohicans
3:05 the rifle is Sig Sauer 716
Indian army without Ironside what a assualt mastery they have 👍👍👍
There are two main exercises between the Indian army and the US army barring the navies and the air forces of the respective nations, those being Yudh Abhyaas (General army exercises including mechanized now) and Vajra Prahaar (SOF exercises between the US SF-ODA teams and the Para SF)
