Southern CA or Southern Florida is a good place to spend winter.....I was at least lucky enough to spend 2 winters in Tampa & 1 in Forth Worth TX.......A 25 or 27ft. sailboat is kinda cramped but seen a few fixer uppers for sale in Florida & Texas for as low as $2,000 that could still float & looked decent.....Wish I had an acre of homebase land somewhere outside a small city in the country. With a cabin, tiny house or RV to live in with a workshop & storage area...Then had a 35ft sailboat parked on property.....In fall hop in the boat & head down south for winter & sail back in spring.
