Since only season 1 was out at the time, but once we got that episode in season 2, and season 3 ended, and Cody wasn't a assassin/ P0 Dark Trooper I went back to the original plan for the Obi Wan show and went, "hmm what happens to him now? Did he track down Obi Wan?"

This fan animation is just so touching. I really hope this becomes canon one day. Its such a missed opportunity that we never got to see what happened to Cody after he went Awol from the Empire during the events of the Bad Batch.
I know that in Legends Cody seemed to either despise or felt indifferent about Kenobi after the war, but to me this hits better as it shows the respect these two have for each other despite a brutal betrayal. Seeing as Boba Fett isn’t getting a second season in the near future, I think that Kenobi Season 2 is the perfect time to bring Temerra to play Cody seeking redemption after all those years.
It's absolutely stunning. This is likely the closest I will ever get to my dreams coming true with an Obi-Wan and Cody reunion. The emotions on Codys' face just make me want to 😭 Keep up the great work, and thank you for giving us what Disney won't!

This is when Cody reunited with Crosshair when his orange from his armor was missing by becoming the Imperial version during the Bad Batch after he almost killed Obi-Wan Kenobi at the Battle of Utapau during Order 66 at the Revenge of the Sith.
Massive prop's to Shape Shifter's VA work for this! Their impressions of both characters voices is incredible, especially next to the official voicework.

Also, fun fact: Cody was actually planned to be in Rebels, as they were going to make him a stormtrooper and reunite with Rex while on a mission, but they ultimately scrapped the idea. (If they kept it either way, it might’ve retconned his fate in the Bad Batch though)

Thanks!!no grievous didn’t kill Cody. And Cody did execute order 66, ordering the ATTE to fire on obi wan. Bad batch also takes place after order 66, so he would’ve already done all that by then.

Cody was supposed to be in the “Obi-Wan Kenobi” series. But was scrapped due to Tamuera Morrison not wanting to. We also still need to know how did Wolffe defect from The Empire and joined up with Rex and Gregor. And don’t forget Kix. He’s said to be the oldest living Clone alive, even all the way up to the sequels.

Cody and his brothers has a more tragic story than Anakin tbh just imagine after empire rise the clones were forced to retire and once they go back to normal they live a dark life of suffering and regrets realize they killed their Jedi generals

It feels like a delete scene but better Obi Wan & Commander Cody working together again like old times at the beginning of clone wars. To the end something i liked to point out did cody service the attack from general grievous bc i thought grievous killed him and and did obi wan save him before he gets killed by grievous and did cody joined the other clones to attack order 66? Can u tell bc i can't remember from the movie of episode 3 revenge of tne sith? I can't remember bc its been a long time since i seen it
Thanks!!no grievous didn’t kill Cody. And Cody did execute order 66, ordering the ATTE to fire on obi wan. Bad batch also takes place after order 66, so he would’ve already done all that by then.

Cody was supposed to be in the “Obi-Wan Kenobi” series. But was scrapped due to Tamuera Morrison not wanting to. We also still need to know how did Wolffe defect from The Empire and joined up with Rex and Gregor. And don’t forget Kix. He’s said to be the oldest living Clone alive, even all the way up to the sequels.

@@thefightoffaith haha yeah!! My friend came up with the idea that he put a tracking device on kenobi’s lightsaber bc obi wan kept losing it 😂 and assuming kenobi was dead, he thought some scavenger picked it up and he tracked it to take it back, only to find obi wan was alive!
Cody and his brothers has a more tragic story than Anakin tbh just imagine after empire rise the clones were forced to retire and once they go back to normal they live a dark life of suffering and regrets realize they killed their Jedi generals
