Mark my words. This will be the turning point of his career. This is his perfect age and to give life to some extraordinary, mature roles, this definitely will be his recognition point. Being a huge fan of Jamie from the very beginning starting from his debut in Sweeney Todd I have to say this I am so very proud of this handsome man 👊🏻🫡🔥
Been following him since Sweeney Todd too, but man I had no clue he was THiS talented. I knew he was musically, and his acting has always been stellar, but what he pulled off with Vecna has blown my mind.

I completely agree with everything you said. I've been a fan of his since day one as well. I'm sad it's taken this long for him to get properly recognised considering he's been in some BIG mainstream films - Sweeney Todd included. But I already loved the show before Jamie was cast and I'm so happy he was given this chance.

Personally for me I just wanna see Vecna go into Elevens mind and have an entire episode dedicated to what would have happened if she had said yes to joining Henry, because I feel like we don’t get enough of the what if scenarios in stories like this, also I so want to see an Evil Eleven, don’t judge me. 🫣😈 and if you can go into someone’s mind and mess with it like Vecna can, I can see him showing her what could have been. You don’t really see that in shows, like the villain showing the hero what could have been if they had joined them. I love that idea and I would love to see vecna do that in season 5
Also I have a solution to Jamie’s vecna song problem- just go with Weird Al’s party in the C.I.A instead 😝🤣
we've seen enough of eleven/lab, i rather see will in his villian arc bc he actually deserves to go nuts on people treating him like crap.

I came across Jake's takes about a decade ago and for some reason I couldn't get enough of his interviews. It was like watching the late night show but better. I would say even better then Graham Norton. Jake's style of interviewing has now been copied and pasted all around the world from different interviewers. Unfortunately all the other intwrviewers felt as if they were falling short of the aura his atmosphere induced upon his guest. They all lacked his passion and love for cinema.
Since he moved to Chicago (which was funny in that I walked by him one day and it kind of felt like seeing a celebrity) he's interviews have felt a tiny bit off and I'm sure it's because he has his job.
I hope one day this man somehow has his own late night show. If you ever need to hire employees for your future career good sir. I would gladly be privileged to be the Guillermo to your Kimmel. Cheers to your success Boss.

honestly, as much as i love the main characters i feel like the duffers should stop the trope of killing only characters introduced the same season and have some sort of casualties to the non-crucial (like el) characters
people are going to hate me but as much as i love steve he was supposed to die season one and his arc is pretty much done and it would be super emotional impactful to not only the audience but a lot of the main characters so he'd be one of my first choices from a story perspective (obviously if it was personal preferences i wouldn't want him to die but i do admit it would serve the story)
anyway, love jamie he's amazing and i was actually happy vecna lived as weird as that is because he's so phenomenal

He's been in the industry for about sixteen years now and has also been in some BIG films too. So I'm surprised he's only just being properly recognised for his versatility and talent. But I'm so happy he was chosen to play Vecna in Stranger Things. I was already both a fan of his and a fan of the show before it was announced he was in it and I thought I was dreaming at first. I think this will open many doorways now everybody knows who he is, though he should've recieved this kind of attention ten years ago imo.

I find it annoying when people doing interviews try to trick their guests in the giving away spoilers. Me seriously what's the purpose just to brag and say, "you heard it here first folks."
It's just cheap and distasteful in my opinion. Stop putting these talented people on the spot like that. Doesn't matter if it's a joke or not. People do sometimes give away things by accident.
I wasn’t looking for spoilers - the Duffer Bros don’t even start writing the next season until next month, so there are no spoilers to gain here. I wanted to know if HE thought that Vecna should kill off major characters.

Whether you agree or not concerning your particular interview. I stand by my statement. IMHO it shouldn't be done by anyone. And it's annoying when it is.
@@JakesTakesTV btw, though the Duffers haven't written anything yet (to your knowledge). They already have an ending in mind for season 5 and they've shown it to Netflix executives. And the bros said that it made the execs cry. So it's not like they don't have their plans already in order. And yes, things can change at any time. But they've been notorious for having their endings plan ahead of time. In fact, I just watched the interview where they said that the only change that they've ever had in the ending (season finale) was in season 4 by keeping Dmitri alive. Before then, they're known to change things leading up to...
But this is the first time they've decided to deviate from that original plan.
