It’s interesting how Dallas folks who live there think it’s the most expensive place to live in the US. They would be so disappointed at how little their money would get them in the NYC tri state area, and it’s new money, or the old money of the Main Line in PA.
They live in a bubble in TX and I could not wait to move after 18 months there.

@@DAPA.DANIEL I agree, and Highland Park isn’t cheap…there was just an edge to those who lived there and they wouldn’t get half the house in the Northeast, in a nice area like they are accustomed to in Dallas. CA is even worse.
I am used to seeing the old money who don’t flaunt it, some even look disheveled in public.
I find it interesting not being in a position to buy in any of these locations, but having grown up around it was always entertaining.
