It may seem like Bai Luo Yin was playing an acute hard-to-get game on Gu Hai here but it's actually a result of his mom's abandonment of him as a child. People who experience abandonment suffer from trust issues in later life.
If they cut out the whole kidnapping and forced kissing thing, I'd completely love this series. Tsundere stuff doesn't translate well in live action, just comes across as r@pe. Otherwise this series is really cute, I watched it all in one day
