Stunning. All the furniture that’s left behind should be donated to Habbit. It’s a shame to see places like this just sitting, when all over the world there are homeless people, families with out homes,
People shouldn't be so quick to judge some of the bedrooms in this house because some of these opinions seemed to me like they may know from first-hand experience in situations like that me myself I have been on drugs half of my life have did stuff sexually that I'm not proud of and made ridiculously bad choices and one of them left me paralyzed from the waist down I'm glad this video shows a lot more than the last one but in my opinion I believe that it was probably a mother with several children met a father that had several children and a big house like that they most likely had a guest room and rooms for their guests children in my opinion this house is gloriously beautiful but the thing that I liked about it most was the piece of paper in the bedroom that had the different list of prayers to thy own self be true and you're as dirty as your secrets that's why I own up to my dirt and I do not deny my wrongdoings or poor judgment in choices in my life that I have made and none of them are mistakes as long as I learn from them and one of the things that I learned is when you have one finger pointing at someone you have four pointing back at yourself I know I have a big enough family that if it would have been in my house there would have probably been a mural of a marijuana Garden in my gym and my nieces would have had their own bedrooms to share and my nephew's would have had their own bedroom to share. Thanks for sharing the video it put more insight and detail then the first video you shouldn't rush through a video of a place that enormous and leave out the tennis court basketball court buildings Outback for storage or garage rather is a shed or storage building I still want to see it even the basements that has no drywall and might be ugly I want to see it I like the propane tank that I'm looking at now I wanted to see that to you LOL thanks for the video
If everyone that comes to this video would read the previous comments, you would all know the answers to the same questions you keep asking over and over. The information on where this is, who owned it, what it was, what happened to it and what it was selling for and whether it is still for sale are all right here answered several times in these comments!
Omg! I just saw the pics on Facebook and this place was so beautiful just a few years ago, prior to Hurricane Harvey! CHOICES PRIVATE RECOVERY, SHERMAN, TX
This home is close to Oklahoma and maybe got an inch of rain from Harvey, if that. I’m about 60 miles south of this house and I’m not sure we even got an Inch if rain.
I always wonder why someone left the place and never fixed it, etc. It looks like the upper floors are in great shape, but obvious big water damage on the first floor. Why would you just leave a place like that…upside down on the loan perhaps so no way to sell it…so just walk away I guess??? Crazy. What was it last used for? Clearly not as a single family residence.
My mother and I have been wondering for weeks now what this place was. I would love to know the story. Is it a physical therapist office? And the asking price is 1.5?
I wonder what's the history of this mansion and why it was abandoned. It is so beautiful. What's with all those bunk beds? Everything in there seems to be up-to-date but don't understand why it was banded? Is this place up for sale or is it going to be demolished? Such a waste just sitting there not in use. Wish I had the money I would buy it. I just hope it doesn't get destroyed, it's so beautiful.
Great video nice looking property thanks for taking the time to film it for us. Question asking price is 1.5 million but in your personal estimation how much would it take to fix up the buildings not counting the grounds just the structures?
Hi Alex. Thank you for watching my video. In order to fix it up to where it was before, I think it will need carpet, baseboards, paint, swimming pool resurfacing, and other cosmetic things. The water damage was already fixed by the restoration company. So all in all, I think it cost about $150K. I'm not an estimator, inspector, or appraiser, so I can't really confirm anything. It's just my guess.
Thanks 😊 I was thinking 🤔 around 200k. For an all in budget of 1.7 million. I’m not an estimator either I just ask because I wanted to see how my number compared to someone who’s actually been around buildings more than I have. Thanks again.
Wow! What a huge home. It's a shame that it's just sitting and basically rotting away. Since this video is from 2020, I hope it finally sold. The people that lived there definately lived the life of luxury. 1.5 million for a house that size and on 44 acres is absolutely jaw dropping that the cost is that low now. I wonder how much it cost to build that house and buy that property oringinally? Some of the decor left behind is so pretty too. Although the price is low for everything, it would take about another couple million to just to fix up the home inside and get some great lawn care service too. Lol. Thanks for the video.

Looking at the whole drill where tge base trim used to be the house had some kinda flood and drilled the hole to use fans to dry it out
Astonishing wealth.
Alot of property but that house needs another 1.5 million in renovations and landscaping
You will definitely have to update the colors and funiture alone cause half of that house might be mold infested
What a beautiful home or school which ever this home may be I love it😍😍😍
Thank you so much!
This mansion gives me the chills for some reason. Not feeling any type of warmth in this place. Js
What part of Texas is the home located I wonder?
A mansion with so many bunk beds. Seems a bit more like an exclusive camp wing. Appreciate the way you video each room with smooth transition. As if we were walking and exploring. Breath taking views inside looking out too. Nice to know under contract. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for watching ❤️
WOw, it's actually in really good condtion
The Property is Known As Choices Private Recovery 😊
Hiphop music official ideal place for Bill Gates and alike to rehab homeless people mentor them on the farm land to survive on their own. What a waist. 😢
Holy crap theres enough space for like 5 families
Wow I wish I lived here
Glad you liked it! Thanks for watching ❤
Definitely was a rehab, half-way house or church, shelter etc. No way that was purpose built for a home. It has an office wing that looks like a garage.
It was a scam that got busted out and shut down and foreclosed on !!
At least you had made a full coverage video on this splendid property ✅
For just $1.5M is a Finder's Keepers but surely need a lot more $$$ to restore and make renovations.
Good investment for the long haul though 👍🏻
I can't help but wonder, why was all the base molding pulled off the walls ..... solid gold?
My guess is flooded! Looks like a lot of water damage to me..
When was the last time someone lived in this mansion please comment back
About 2 years ago
@@DallasHomesForSale Is this property stole available for purchase or to look at
The attached home should have had 2 bath even if one was downstairs in the area which was a basement I think
Hi Luvenia. Are you referring to the small detached guest house? If so, it does have 2 full baths. The basement was used as storage and access to the HVAC. Thanks for watching ❤
Ballpark price estimate for a house this size?
This mantion had to be some kind of live in private school or something it's a beautiful mantion and in surprisingly great shape
If u really only knew the horror
So much safistacation and class
Excellent property for transitional families. Parents reestablishing themselves back into the community, rather it be jail or rehab. A transition home has always been a dream of mind 🤠✍🏿📱... Next a Bread and Breakfast... Where those double or queen size bunk beds? Is it still abandoned and whereabouts in TX is it located?
Sherman, TX
Is this property still available please Comment back my be intrested in coming to take a look and see what it really needs thank you
That's a pond with a pier by the front entrance. The property is currently under contract. Thanks for watching 👍
@@DallasHomesForSale Does it come with a free lawn cut so I know what the property really looks like or now I gotta put at least 500000 to a million into this house to make it look presentable
Thanks Joshua for the sharing your story. I wish you well and god bless ❤
Harvey has nothing to do with north Texas
I KNEW IT! Guessed luxury rehab in the other videos comments because it was definately commercial & not a private residence.
Thank you.
This home is close to Oklahoma and maybe got an inch of rain from Harvey, if that. I’m about 60 miles south of this house and I’m not sure we even got an Inch if rain.
@@KimberlyMarie7 it has a lot of rotting base boards and some sheetrock on the bottom. Do you know what happened?
It's deteriorating it needs lots of work, cleaning, fixing up, restoration,an people who will take good care of it. $$$💲💲💲
Could you imagine how many roombas you would need to clean this place?
Beautiful ❤️ what happened why abandon this
Buenos días todavía esta disponible
Beautiful
Incredible
Thanks for watching 👍
I always wonder why someone left the place and never fixed it, etc. It looks like the upper floors are in great shape, but obvious big water damage on the first floor. Why would you just leave a place like that…upside down on the loan perhaps so no way to sell it…so just walk away I guess??? Crazy. What was it last used for? Clearly not as a single family residence.
My mother and I have been wondering for weeks now what this place was. I would love to know the story. Is it a physical therapist office? And the asking price is 1.5?
It was used as a live-in luxury rehab facility for drug and alcohol abuse. It is foreclosed and the bank is asking $1.5M
Thanks for watching ❤️
@dallashomesforsale this house has been taken off the market is no longer available for purchase per Google and asking price was $2.9 million
Renovation is gonna be hell , but beautiful layout. this is a lot of house for 1.5 mill
You would have to have a fleet of just riding lawnmowers to maintain the grass lol
No thank you.
Would be a great retirement home or for veterans.
@@DallasHomesForSale
Is this property still for sale and it lists Dallas as the location , could you be more precise ?
