I hope i was making sense! I had to edit out a lot of the voiceover after finding out i babble too much. I also do digital art with Procreate, let me know if that's something you guys wanna see too ❤️
I appreciate your site and hope you will do more like this. Your voice and how you present is balanced, inspiring and skillfully in every way. Would it be possible for you to create a way for us to download the reference photo. That would be much appreciated. Thank you P🌱
Thank you for your tutorials. Definitely not too much talking. Every bit of info/tips help. Would like to see you do a male and female in one session to directly compair how you approach. Also ABSOLUTELY LOVE the flashes of the references and showing the key lines on the photo itself as you discuss! That was extremely helpful. Combine that with your pacing (slower) and comfort level in discussion you’ve grown into now a few years later and it would truely be an epicly resourceful vid. Thank you again for the great sketch tutorials
This was an awesome video, I love the fact that u Identify the shapes and angles of the heads and the hair and then u build from those shapes and add detail, I especially liked the fact that u genuinely enjoyed the process of these sketches, hope u make more of these types of vids in the future
I am drawn to how you use shapes to define spaces and how you make medium like Ballpoint pen come so alive as artist. Beautiful work! I salute to this interesting video...
Your channel is extremely underrated and I can‘t believe that I just found your channel, it got recommended to me for the first time. I’m binge watching all of your videos and am so inspired! Your art is beautiful, your editing is on point, the music is relaxing and your voice is really vibing with the music. Thank you so much for your content! I‘m seeing myself rewatching this video many times and trying to recreate what you‘ve done. 🥰 Greetings from Germany ☺️
I used to be able to draw.... I'm picking up at again, more seriously now that I have some time and i much say, your videos have been helping me a lot with my sketches and colouring too. Thank you 😊♥️
i love your art style so much! i like the loose look and your approach to portraits is more straightforward than other tutorials i've watched. i'm definitely going to try your method!
I appreciate this video so much and I love the references, sad that the last one wasn't shown but a very great tutorial, will use your advice while sketching!!
Amazing video … again! I’m going to rewatch it and then get sketching … portraits have frustrated me for so long but I can’t wait to put these tips into practice! Thank you
I absolutely adore how you do portraits 😭🖤 I’ll try your technique din nga. I tried using the Loomis method but I still can’t get the likeness hahah. Also, that sketchbook looks huge-! Where can I get one? 😂🖤
I struggled with the loomis method too even though i know it's important to learn it 😭. This sketchbook was a random find from carousell. It's great for the size pero i prefer the limelight sketchbook pa din
HamRib Art same-face syndrome always happens when I try loomis method, and always always out of proportion. I’m finding your technique/process much more satisfying and actually diversifies the features of my drawings hahah. Thank you for sharing it! I need a nice good quality sketchbook, most of my sketchbooks are watercolor paper and I feel bad if I only use them for pencil and ink haha
I could learn from your approach to facial drawings. I've got to get other than black pens. I usually do rough sketch with mechanical pencil but I've got to try red ink pen.
You're just amazing, watching your videos really get me motivated to start sketching again, tho it's not as easy as it looks 😭😭 i think my biggest problem is how i always insisted to make it as real or as close to the original reference and also i'm very careful, too careful if anything, and i erase a lot...i can't imagine drawing a reference using pen like this
@@hambot I wish I'm good like you. I tried watercolor because of your artstyle but it's so hard for me so I'm waiting for more videos at tutorials of you. Arrgghh... I think I'm inlove with your artstyle hahahaha
This is extremely helpful, so lovely drawings and obvious instructions, but the music is louder than your voice, wich makes it hard to follow along, thank you so much for this video! ❤️❤️
I've watched lot of your videos. You are an amazing artist and an give very good advice. Thank you so much. I'm going to apply your advice to my drawing technique. I'm definitely subscribing.🌟🤗
It really is hard to determine if you will either put wrinkles or not especially if you don't know the age of the character your drawing. Well I mean it will be easier if there is references that can help you improve how to draw like them.
One request! A After having looked through this video a couple of times I wonder if you could do it without the background music and let your voice and thoughts be easier to hear. And maybe doing one in real-time. Thank you P🌱
I wish my proportions is this accurate, I just freehand everything or grid method, I really want everyportrait to be accurate.. but my proportions says no xd
Dear miss HamRib I enjoy your videos but your voice is always competing for attention with the music. Perhaps I'm alone in this observation. Perhaps if you could pull the backing back a bit so that your valuable instructions can come over without being hindered. My best wishes to you.

Your explanations are good but the music over powers your voice. ❤

Actually do this technique but I'm way too scared to use a pen in case I make a mistake
Damn! I had been given a multicolor pen years ago, but I gave it away because I rarely used it -__-'
I wish u could make a tutorial about anatomy body
Hi, can you please link your reference image. I really want to try drawing the same reference
It’s along with you.
Can anyone recommend another multi-color pen, because unfortunately this one is not sold everywhere:/?

I couldn't hear what was being said due to the volume of the music.
Are you a pilipina?
Lol that 1 dislike tho
nice tips, but music is soooo annoying.
