Of all your tips that helps me best right now is to get uncomfortable. I don't have a ukulele group anywhere near me so I joined an online one. And you know what? Just jumping in and trying to keep up taught me that I can do chord changes much faster than I thought. Also, I'd keep writing down names of chords I didn't know yet and memorising them.

I like to play nadaniyaan in ukulele ❤❤

I start to challenge myself to play songs first in key of C, then key of G etc. and to memorize progression while thinking about circle of fifth. And then, to play it with my eyes closed. The last one help me to sing in pitch too.
