      I really love these 'hold and see how long you can persevere' series. These are so beneficial in building real control and inner muscle strength.

    You got me there, sir. Haha. I managed 60 seconds but there was shaking. That hold is no joke. Definitely gonna incorporate more of these in my training.

    I was able to do the 90 seconds, but I'd be lying if I said it was easy. Started shaking 20 seconds in. Love the videos as I've been getting more into body weight training.

      Holding 90 seconds is solid work! With practice your shoulders should get a lot stronger and more stable (less prone to injuries) in no time

    Eero, my question is what is wrong having the hands and elbows closer to the body, elbows not flared out but pointing back? what makes this wide version different to the elbows close to body?

    • @ritushraj2288
      @ritushraj2288 4 роки тому

      KomBat147 same question, Eero. Considering that even in the military press or hspu the elbows are in front of you

    • @Vahvafitness
      @Vahvafitness  4 роки тому +1

      They are two different holds. When you bring elbows in, you are targeting more the anterior deltoids and triceps. This focuses more on the lateral deltoids, this is explained here btw: bit.ly/test-shoulders

    It is not better to put the elbows near the body ?

    • @Vahvafitness
      @Vahvafitness  4 роки тому +2

      Bringing elbows in emphasizes more the anterior deltoids (front shoulders) and triceps. This hold focuses more on the lateral deltoids. Bringing elbows in variation is more difficult for most people though
