i hope you can reply to this I'm currently trying to build a pc with the MSI MEG X670E GODLIKE and i don't really know if the lian li O11D EVO RGb will work for this
A few notes on the case from my own experience: A 420mm crossflow radiator almost but doesn’t quite fit in the top. A regular 420mm does work with the motherboard in the lower position, but that makes cabling more difficult, so I feel like a 360mm with the MB in the upper position makes the most sense. Likewise, a 360mm crossflow in the side bracket *might* be possible but probably not worth the tradeoffs for most builds. The vertical GPU mount needs its own anti-sag device to avoid deforming the back of the case when using heavy cards. In the lowest position, you might get away with a shim between it and the bottom fans. The riser cable on the vertical mount is also too long unless it is mounted in the lowest position and the motherboard is the upper position. Otherwise, the ribbon is either pressed up against the backplate of the card or the heatsink for the chipset/VRMs. The cable management door does not close completely when using larger PSUs. The side panel still fits overtop, so it isn’t a dealbreaker, but worth mentioning. The drive cage area is large enough to support a pump/res combo like an FLT80, but the mounting holes are slightly too narrow for a standard 80mm mounting bracket. Only an issue if you want a triple rad loop without a distro plate covering the front panel or a pump and reservoir blocking your view of those sweet LCD fans. Not the case itself, but related: I tried the strimmer RGB cables and while I want to love them, I don’t think they work in this case. The 12vhpwr cable needs a right angle connector to avoid potential bending issues with the side glass and the 24-pin cable is way too long. I could just about plug it straight into my PSU if it had the right connector, but as it’s an extension cable, it just makes cable management that much harder.
So the strimmer RGB 12vhpwr is tight with the Temp glass panel, what version did you use and did you try it on an nvidia 40 series or AMD Card ? Im asking because Im waiting (to purchase) for the release of the 4070ti super card (in 2 days) and this case.
@@stevedillinger8642 I have a Lian Li 011D Evo RGB black with an Arctic 420 with Push Pull from the top mount. I used a gigabyte 690 MB and a Gigabyte 407Oti. The motherboard is mounted on the lower position. The fans on the Arctic 420 III bottom fans are the BeQuiet 140 Pro Wings and the top fans are stock Arctic 140. I have on order Arctic 140 Extreme 6 ea. I can not post a picture here. I removed the 420 mount and mounted the top fans and then mounted them to the case. It is tight but if you take the time and figure it out it should work. I love the case.
I think what makes this attractive would be for left handed setup and the seamless perpendicular alignment between the glass panels. Much like the nzxt h9 flow but with the choice for it to be on the left side. Rgb wise would be more of an add on to the rgb lovers. I personally prefer this over the original o11d mainly because of the seamless glass panel intersection.

If you have a lot of cabling in your rig, the cable bay of the Evo can become rather cramped directly behind the PSU, especially with PSUs above a 1000W. I just bought this case to replace my Lian Li Lancool II. It sucks in so much dust through the front I am constantly cleaning it and the radiator in the front. No dust filter means a ton of dust and I was at my whit end. This is going to be exciting not to mention had it reversed since it sits on my left.
6:30 Thanks for saying this. I was driving myself nuts on how these trays wouldn't negate the fans / radiator on the other side. I was looking for some sort of other purpose to them, but I guess I just have to leave them off.
If I didn't just brought the Dynamic a few months ago, I'd buy this one. Particularly because I have to my system in the reverse built due to where my desk is, but the reverse built with a 3090 is uncomfortable too close to the motherboard because my motherboard is a tad bigger. This latest incarnation of the Dynamic seems to address that. Unfortunately, I have a rule of thumb not to buy a new case for a couple of years. If someone told me they'd give me this, though, I'd be all over it.
He just does not say it in the review. On their site they say it is not included. You cannot even buy it. I would not buy it until they produce the filter at least.
Yeah, and the strange thing, is that they have 2 dustfilters on the backside of the new XL case? Should be easy, and not to expencieve to do that for this case too?
If it weren't for the price difference I think this fill the same niche but just straight loses to the regular EVO XL considering the XL has an extra rear exhaust, convenient removable mobo tray, bigger IO, Vertical RGB that this case conveniently lacks, and ability to offset the bottom intake fans without the GPU brackets getting in the way when using 140s. For closer to the same price Id rather get the Vision which albeit not perfect itself, looks just as good in its own unique way and requires less fans ($+100) for similar air cooling performance AND the case/tempered glass doesn't obscure the INF mirrors even if they aren't symmetrical which is really the most important part if you think about it ;) EDIT: also apparently no dust filters? that's a pointless removal of options to save a quick buck if so.
Yeah, I'll be going for the XL myself as I've been tired of building mid-tier tower builds with my large hands the past 10+ years. The extra wiring space and removable MB tray just makes it that much better.

😒👍 Lian Li 011 EVO's are one of the few cases on the market that you can flip it upside down so that you can put the case on the left hand side which is why I have it, lian li also now sells reversible blade fans for the three fans that you bolt up to the side of the case theres a few other small outfits making revisersible fans too but this is something that is kind of niche still rite now, EVO's come in black and white, and theres two revisions, you have this newer one where the glass panes have no supporting metal bracket and you have the older version which has a metal frame bracket, this newer one which is all glass please be extra careful because without the frame the glass can shatter much easier and you dont want that, shattered glass makes a huge mess plus the bits can cut ur skin and get embedded in ur skin
I am starting to gather information about making my own build: an AMD Ryzen 9 7900 with an MSI Pro x670-P WiFi and Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5. I am eventually getting back into WOW, and I am not sure if I want to invest in the higher graphics card now or wait until after I finish my master's degree. Thoughts?
can you please address the lighting problem you have, i guess you didnt notice but the rgb does sync on the fans properly and many others had this issue, something with the orientation of the fans. If you found a fix it would be a good video to make
fantastic as always the lian li expert as i tell my friends one question the radiator you used i see them its a LIAN LI GALAHAD II LCD 360 SL-INF COMPLETE WATER COOLING, ARGB but did you replace the fans as i like lian li uni lcd instead if you get what i mean as i rather have the outside lighting then the fan itself lit up
Is that true that the air blow in this PC case you set bottom: Intake, motherboard side( CPU thermal radiator) : Intake too, and only top of this case is exhaust ?
Great job on all your videos. I was surprised and disappointed to find that the white RGB cases come with black anti-sag brackets. Particularly because of the additional expense of ordering a white mobo and gpu!
@@TheProvokedPrawn Hopefully, but you also barely see a dead pixel, though you cant stop looking at it. Youre also not using a white mobo like I am =/ Not a huge deal though, Ill build as planned and go upright or vertical if it bothers me. Thanks again for all your great videos.
I was going for the vision at first but after seeing more "showcases" of the Evo RGB, i'm definitely going for this one for my new build. Now i'm having a self debate to decide wether I send back the iCUE link h150i I ordered and get a lian li Galahad ii (lcd or not), or a cheaper aio + TL LCD fans 😅
I am gonna buy this case with all the lian li fans needed, but i noticed on my local shop's site that the AIO cpu cooler with the bigger lcd screen is the SL and the other fans are TL. In your builds also, but they seem to light up the same? Where as on that site, the AIO shown has leds that shine/glow differently (more on the blades itself and not on the sides like the TL's)?
I’ve got a custom build from ek fluid I bought used and it has an older version of the lian li case. You know the main differences? Main thing I don’t see the radiator/ fan trays removable, the corner bracket cannot be removed. I’m looking at grabbing one of these to swap everything over 😊
Can you turn the plate for mounting the fans in the top compartment so that the recess faces inwards? If so, would there still be room in the upper area to mount fans there? So I could install a radiator with 6 fans in the upper area again, right?
11:49 In the reverse chassis build, are the fans flipped upside down too not just the GPU? Planning this build and getting a Lian Li LCD fan, but if it's flipped it doesn't have much use then sadly...
Those are some great alternatives for this build, thanks for sharing mate! Lian Li O11 has loads of potential, although I personally prefer the NV7 from Phanteks.
Hi, love your videos, just built my own Lian Li monster. Problem is I got the GA II LCD non inf version but bought some INF fans and installed them on the rad and on the controller at the back. Using a 7800X3D im getting some really shitty temps, just sitting around in windows doing tasks and it hits 70C. Should I repaste and reseat the pump or is there an issue since the cable going on the pump doesnt have any fans on it. I'd really appreciate your input!
Hmmm. In L Connect you can set a fan curve for the fans that changes according to the CPU temp. If you remember the port they're connected to you can set them to a higher speed than the rest of the fans. Also I've found that having intake fans on a radiator can make quite a difference. ua-cam.com/video/sVEXd-Wp8FY/v-deo.html
Are you able to do a push pull AIO configuration on top of the case? I can't seem to figure it out. A response would be awesome. Thank you in advance brotha.
So I just built in this case and I really like it, although one thing seems to be missing- is there no static color option for the case lighting? I've been playing around with the RGB buttons on the case for quite some time now and I cannot find a static setting; every setting has the lights moving, or fading in and out. I have a hard time believing there is no static light setting. Can anyone confirm/deny this?
I have the O11D Evo XL and bought 2 times the wrong vertical mount. Then finnaly it was the right one and it would have looked so cool but with my 4080 it didn't wanted to work anyways. The GPU was sitting an angle in the power connection and didn't get power to a100%. So sad..... After that I gave up!
I really want to see a full on 140mm fan build in this case (mostly cause I am considering it), does it improve the air flow or? Would appreciate if you got back to me on this
from what I understand 140mm fans are mostly superior because they're larger and can move less air while spinning slower. So you can have a quieter building doing so. I've not tested thermal performance of 120 vs 140 in any particular case. Though that would be interesting for sure.
@@TheProvokedPrawn Same thing I was thinking, don't see why the airflow wouldn't be better, want to try 3x140 top exhaust, 3x140 bottom intake and the 360 rad on side, hopefully nothing goes south
I can't decide between RGB and XL. I will install 120mm because the SL INF 140 are not available. but it would make more sense with the 140mm option on the XL. I think the space for cable management on the XL is very nice. With the RGB I have concerns about the dust because the filter at the bottom doesn't cover the entire area. what do you think?
Hey, I built this pc except with a 7800x3d and x670 mobo, and am having a weird problem. If I do windows-> restart, the pc won't post. However, if I do shutdown, and then hit the power button like normal, it posts just fine. Cinebench, mem tests, and all other diagnostics and functions work fine. I cleared cmos and even replaced the cmos battery, and that one issue still persists. Any ideas?
Hi is it possible to use the arctic freeze 420 aio with fans (67.5mm) with the low mobo setting and also use push/pull set up? With another set of sl inf 140.. … all together 92.5mm ?? Or would I need the 360 aio with 140 fans ???
Hi nice video! - Do you know if MSI has a mother board like the one you showed with all the sick RGB but supporting 14th gen processors? Also I’m building my very first gaming pc and want it to pretty much look like the one you show in the video 😎 Just subscribed!
did you make a video about how to build in this case in reverse in the end? I'm thinking of buying the case as I have to have my PC to the left of me on my desk, so I'd like to build in this case in reverse.
In your opinion would it be possible to put a 420mm AIO in the side mount? The spec sheet said that you can mount three 140mm fans in the side, but that you'll be missing four screw points... two at the bottom and two at the top. I would think a 420mm radiator would fit in the side and be secured with four screws towards the middle of the radiator, but I've not seen anything definitive.
You won’t be able to fit a 420mm radiator on the side because there won’t be enough room for the ports. Even a 360mm crossflow is unlikely to fit (not enough clearance for the second set of ports) unless it’s mounted on the flat side of the side bracket. That costs an extra 30mm of space inside the case and makes cable routing more difficult unless the fans are mounted on the other side of the bracket. Aesthetically, that probably only works with an upright GPU mount.
@TheProvokedPrawn what are the options if i want to Put in 140 fans on top side and bottom , plus the single 120 in back , does lian li offer the 140's in 3 packs with the controllers?
Thank you for the very in-depth review of the case! You mentioned that you can do a push/pull orientation on the top fan/rad mount. Is it possible to do that on the side intake? Or only the top? (Not push/pull on both at the same time, but one or the other)
Yep shouldn't be a problem. You can do that with most Lian Li cases. Interestingly they also point out how you can put fans at the rear on that tray if you upright GPU mount there, so that gives you an idea of how much space there is.
@@TheProvokedPrawn thank you for the response! that is good to know. probably will preorder the case soon! can't wait to see the full build video and hooking up the rgb! thanks again!

@TheProvokedPrawn Thank you sir ! This will definitely help alot ,one thing tho i am using an older motherboard x570 gigabyte aorus elite and has the older front panel connector slots.i might go in a dead with that or not ?
at 11.33 i see 2 exhaust fans on the bottom left as its the flipped build are these 120mm? and would fit in the normal up right with motherboard at the bottom??
friend, a question, Lian Li's controllers did not give you USB disconnection and connection problems with the Connect L3 software. That RGB decoration is beautiful, but I returned the CPU cooler because stable configuration of the system was impossible for me./???????????????????????
Hey so is there a difference in size between this case and the original evo? And could you place 3 140mm fans on the back of the case next to the glass or can u only place 2?
@@TheProvokedPrawncan you do a video and explain why or do a new comparison video with the rgb included. I’m on the fence now after learning there are no dust filters
To control the rgb strip through software is it only available on the mb software app or could third party’s connect to it like lian li Lconnect software?
Would 3 x 120mm fans on the side intake, 1 x 140mm exhaust on the back, 2 x 140mm intakes on the bittom and a 280mm aio on the top for exhaust work for this? Ive buukt many pcs but its my first time actially doing fans properly and i have no clue 😂
Hello, I recently got a very similar pc built with 3 TL LCD fans and 7 TL fans however every now and then the RGB on the fans seems to flicker on and off. Any idea what the cause of this could be?
@@TheProvokedPrawn Thanks for the fast reply. I've checked the connections and the firmware all seems to be in order there. I've already had replacements from Lian Li as well but that didn't seem to resolve the issue either. Thanks for the help though!
@@ashleylinette5462 all the fans flicker? Could it be a power fluctuation? From your power supply or a loose power connection to the wall or internally on the PC maybe
@@TheProvokedPrawn All the TL fans flicker yes, the LCD screens and the fans themselves seem to stay on though. It could be a power issue but all the other components in the computer seem fine. I've tried 2 other wall sockets as well, that didn't help either. A quick browse of the lianli Reddit seems to indicate that multiple people are having this issue. :(
I've just done a build in an NZXT H6 Flow using Lian Li AL V2 Fans and although the fans and how they clip together is great, the software is a steaming pile. It kept saying hub wasn't connected when device manager showed it is. They simply don't work and a quick Google seems I'm not the only person suffering from this. Great fans hideous software
@TheProvokedPrawn Is it possible when in vertical GPU mode to have 2 PCI Devices connected, I would want my Water Cooled Graphics card at front, and 4 x Nvme PCI card just behind it
I wish I watched this video before flipping it to reverse mode. Wasted my entire afternoon only to be disappointed that the motherboard had to be upside down. I really wanted to mount my radiatior on the top, but with the GPU being now above it, its kinda impractical. Sigh. I guess I'll now spend the rest of my day flipping it back around

can you please address the lighting problem you have, i guess you didnt notice but the rgb does sync on the fans properly and many others had this issue, something with the orientation of the fans.
That can be logical
Great job on all your videos. I was surprised and disappointed to find that the white RGB cases come with black anti-sag brackets. Particularly because of the additional expense of ordering a white mobo and gpu!
You barely see it when it's installed though
So what have you decided?
I am gonna buy this case with all the lian li fans needed, but i noticed on my local shop's site that the AIO cpu cooler with the bigger lcd screen is the SL and the other fans are TL. In your builds also, but they seem to light up the same? Where as on that site, the AIO shown has leds that shine/glow differently (more on the blades itself and not on the sides like the TL's)?
Do you think bottom fans will fit to Heperion GR701?Thank you
I’ve got a custom build from ek fluid I bought used and it has an older version of the lian li case.
You know the main differences?
Main thing I don’t see the radiator/ fan trays removable, the corner bracket cannot be removed.
I’m looking at grabbing one of these to swap everything over 😊
Beautiful builds! 😍😱
Thanks
what i allready miss....... is a monting handle on backside !!!! to move that ting :D ........you can nowhere grab that Snow White coffin :D
Fair enough! Thanks for watching!
Thank you in advance brotha.
not related to the case but your voice is really nice lol
Thanks. Sub to hear more of it.
I have this case and i love it
It is good.
For the reverse build, how did you layout the FANS & AIO, which were intake and exhaust?
Top and side are intake. AIO and rear are exhaust. Not necessarily optimal
I'm fixing to build my first pc and I was wondering do I need reverse fans or can I just use regular fans ? And which fan is which in that case
With the RGB I have concerns about the dust because the filter at the bottom doesn't cover the entire area. what do you think?
ua-cam.com/video/WlMu1RzGZ4U/v-deo.html
AF III 420mm will fit ? It is thick boy...
Hi nice video! - Do you know if MSI has a mother board like the one you showed with all the sick RGB but supporting 14th gen processors?
Also I’m building my very first gaming pc and want it to pretty much look like the one you show in the video 😎
Just subscribed!
Yeah this one will work with 14th gen. Specs in the description
did you make a video about how to build in this case in reverse in the end? I'm thinking of buying the case as I have to have my PC to the left of me on my desk, so I'd like to build in this case in reverse.
Not yet
Thanks I'm about to copy this build
Good luck and enjoy
18:02 i can see there is gap on normal, so it would not be a problem on inverted side as in my setup the PC goes to left.?
Does the gpu anti-sag bracket still work with an inverted build?
I wish the extended HDD and PSU trays were optional or an extra option that came with the box. I kinda dislike how that looks.
I’m guessing if you use the vertical mount you don’t need to use the GPU anti sag bracket?
In theory
Damn, that's a mad case ,maaad,i am beginner pc enthusiast and i would like to use this case to build my self a pc,i have a pc atm but a friend built it for me,all i did was watch and pass the tools xdd But this time i wanna do it my self, i was considering the Corsair 6500d airflow ,until i saw this video, this case is cheaper and has tons of options ,it's insane i have never seen anything like that before.
Here's a build guide if it helps ua-cam.com/video/LZz2uhZAWzU/v-deo.html
@TheProvokedPrawn Thank you sir ! This will definitely help alot ,one thing tho i am using an older motherboard x570 gigabyte aorus elite and has the older front panel connector slots.i might go in a dead with that or not ?
at 11.33 i see 2 exhaust fans on the bottom left as its the flipped build are these 120mm? and would fit in the normal up right with motherboard at the bottom??
Nice vid thx. Just bought it in black.
👍🏼 good luck
friend, a question, Lian Li's controllers did not give you USB disconnection and connection problems with the Connect L3 software. That RGB decoration is beautiful, but I returned the CPU cooler because stable configuration of the system was impossible for me./???????????????????????
Not had problems
Is this the mid case or LX case
Would the corsair shift series work well in this case?
Hey so is there a difference in size between this case and the original evo? And could you place 3 140mm fans on the back of the case next to the glass or can u only place 2?
top-bottom-side you can place 3X120mm or 3X140 mm . whatever u want
it's possible to use an eatx mb with a good looking ?
I like nzxt cases more but i had tl use liannli because i have a eatx motherboard
This case looks ok but Im sticking with my lian li EVO XL its actually; better in every way.
Yeah I prefer the XL too
you had an awsome 2023 year with your channel. I hope you have another amazing year in 2024 cheers!@@TheProvokedPrawn
@@TheProvokedPrawncan you do a video and explain why or do a new comparison video with the rgb included. I’m on the fence now after learning there are no dust filters
would the DeepCool AK620 fit in this Case?
I cant find in Benelux. When is it releasing ?
Does the corsair 1200x shift fit in here?
literally stuck between this and the vision, does the vision also come with the standard anti sag bracket?
which liquid is best in look corsair new i cue link display vs lian li display
Awesome video thank you!
Glad you liked it! Hope you enjoyed enough to subscribe 🦐
To control the rgb strip through software is it only available on the mb software app or could third party’s connect to it like lian li Lconnect software?
u have an answer already? mine changes always back to the default red-blue and i can't controll/find it with any software :/
Yes to everything except the 140mm back fan. A 120mm fan will work.
Can you daisy chain the Sl inf fans with these new TL lcd fans? I want to add one in the rear of my case
No
can you controll the stripes with a argb software?
Is the top empty pcie slot usable if the graphics card is vertically mounted in the traditional setup?
Top pci-e slot should never be empty unless you don’t have a gpu.
I am gonna add , 4 , 120mm fans , top n bottom 😸😸
how’s the lian li galahad, i heard many ppl have had a lot of issues and problems with it
There have been a few firmware releases which have helped with issues
Hello, I recently got a very similar pc built with 3 TL LCD fans and 7 TL fans however every now and then the RGB on the fans seems to flicker on and off. Any idea what the cause of this could be?
Afraid not. Unless there's a loose connection somewhere. Have you checked for firmware updates?
@@ashleylinette5462 did Lian Li replace your controller? I am uselessly trouble shooting from afar. Sorry
Usually a firmware update will fix it ua-cam.com/video/xmLIU40UOVI/v-deo.html
I worry about the glass joint. Still not sure if to get this or just the Evo?

@TheProvokedPrawn Is it possible when in vertical GPU mode to have 2 PCI Devices connected, I would want my Water Cooled Graphics card at front, and 4 x Nvme PCI card just behind it
Compare Lian Li o11 dynamic evo rgb vs NZXt h9 Elite
can use 140×3 fan top,bottom,side??😢
can i use TL LCD fans with Lian Li SL INF fans together? like same controller?
Lian Li says you'll need both controllers
Which config ran the coolest? 🤔
Can you run 2ea GPU on this case
How’s the temps on the negative pressure?
It has six intake fans and 4 exhaust. It's been good from what I've seen.
Where can I buy vertical fan with display ?
Does this have the inverted build?
Yes, I showed it
I watched it haha appreciate the reply:)
Will a 420 AiO fit in reverse mode?
yes it should
Could i do 420 push pull up top?
looks like im gonna have to buy this lol
Can this fit a 4090 fe?
ofc

It is a shame you do not mention that there is no dust filter included and you cannot even buy one. 011 evo xl has them. But why you dont mention it
Because it’s sponsored by Lian Li?
It was an oversight on my part tbh. I was looking at everything else and didn't notice or think about it.
No, it wasn't sponsored, I'd have to declare that legally and I've never been sponsored by anyone.
Thank you for replying. Just does not makes sense to include it in XL and do not make it at all for this case. Especially in RGB you will see more clearly small dust particles
They SHOULD sponsor you tbh. Crazy.@@TheProvokedPrawn
