You know you are riding bikes at 18 Road when you can't tell which direction you should be traveling on the fresh-cut bench, haha. Joking aside, it is wonderful to see some clever new additions to the iconic Colorado riding destination that is 18 Road in the North Fruita Desert. Jump in the train with local honch, Noah Sears and myself as we sprint our brains out on our XC mini bikes. Fitness practice never hurt so good. Jumps for show, corners for dough, so the saying goes.
This was ridden on my Yeti SB120. Shaved one leg.

As I watch this on my phone, I find myself leaning into the turns with shoulders twitching. Good ride!
Bob and weave
Enjoyed the ride in CO. One of these days when I retire I will do some riding in CO. Blue skies...
Make it happen.
Always like how get great light and views!
Fruita rocks! The locals are mtb friendly and so many trails. Horse Thief Bench on the Koko Loops is still iconic to this day.
Always good vibes from the locals out there.
Looks like another sweet ride in Fruita! Awesome guys!
Rode a chunk of this today. So much fun!
I love camping there and just being able to ride from your campsite
Best camping-riding spot in Colorado for sure.
U guys were flying 🚵🏼🚵🏼💨💨!!
Always fun to watch!
I live in GJ and somehow only go to 18 road once or twice a year. Evertime I head out I think "maybe 18 road today" then I end up at lunch loops😂
It's actually really far away if you live in GJ, ha. Especially with that washboard road to get out there.
Yep, the new trails aren't really marked just yet. Props to the trail crews for making options other than prime cut.
Nice to have some more options out there for sure.
I'm guessing y'all beat my PR's by a bit 😄
Noah was on the gas!
Brilliantly Captured
Cheers
Thanks for watching.
I need to get to Fruita!
Been a fav of mine for 10 years, getting noticed now…
Fun as hell 🤘🤙
as Tuco would say "Tight-Tight-Tight!"
Going in June!
Bet you had way more fun than anyone doing that trail the "right" way
Damn been too long since I've had a Fruita rip. Need to do that before it's 100 degrees out there.
Get out there!
Just wondering if you’re heading east from Fruita? Love to see you ride Crown Royal on the Crown trails in Carbondale!
I'll have to check that stuff out at some point. On the list.
It looked like you might have missed a couple jumps on the first trail. I would love to see you ride the trail again and get the jumps.
I was too frightened to hit that 6 inch lip, lol.
It's always very startling when your camera gets blasted, because it looks like you crashed for a second. 😂
Always scares me when I am editing, lol.

So smooth, some serious flow trails. Jankless?
Devoid of jank. Still fun, haha.
Nice ride! How does the pike feel compared to the lyrik? I’m thinking bout building a sb120 or a tallboy with a 140 fork and not sure which to run.
It definitely feels lighter and faster for smooth trails like this. The damper\ air spring combo feels softer off the top and ramps hard at the end. I feel like the Lyrik holds you up a bit better in the middle of the stroke. Pike is a great choice if you are riding terrain like this often.
@@natehills9388 thanks for the info. Really enjoy your trail videos. Helped me a lot when I went to crested butte a few years ago. It was a great trip.
speed demons
4:44 That should only be a climbing trail if they change Prime Cut into a downhill-only. Seems fair.
Uphill in every direction 😂🫡
Rode Joes's and PBR last Sunday on my Onewheel, can't wait to get back and try more out, cheers!
Joe's is so much fun.
Nice Job FREERIDAY
No gloves?
