In wild, there's a card called "Bring it on!" which gives you 10 armor for 2 mana, and Frozen Buckler also gives you +10 armor for 2 mana. Make of that what you will.
In wild you can get 30 armor no problem with the pirate that deals damage once you play a minion, quilboar that gets extra armor and 1/4 smith. There's already a combo with Silas and that 1/4 demon but now you can just play the odyn and skip that combo completely

Not sure if enough value for that deck - are there enough mechs for the magnetize, or are there no better mechs and this is good enough just for another tribal tag? It seems pretty bad without magnetize since no rush

this is big warrior stuff. run chorus riffs to fetch out your odyn and big elementals, etc, then play out early game w control until you can drop odyn.

I just realized something, If you can somehow have 2 Naga Giants at the bottom of your deck, then dredge them with Igneous Lavagourger. Isn’t that an OTK? Very Unlikely but could make a stupid clip.
Nah, it's not even otk and it requires a setup that's barely possible. A lot of people are seeing odyn as otk enabler but I think he's just good value that can potentially close out games
@@RenecromancerFinley is actually reverse dredge. Once you get Odin, this is more reliable than Shrivala since you have 2 nagas and 3 chances for it to be on the bottom. Beyond that, the Lavagorger is good even without the combo
@@Dani_el_Duckit’s not even a chance tho I don’t think. Doesn’t Finley put them in your deck in the order they are in your hand? You can realistically guarantee if left is the bottom card, but if the right card is the bottom it would almost never work unless you’re constantly playing top decks
The 8 drop for warrior is a huge win con but it's only playable against control decks which mean the chance of getting dirty rat/patchwerk is huge. Getting this bad boy to hit the board will be an adventure

That’s how they’ve always balanced though. It’s why Shaman was hit or miss for so many years. And why we got raza priest with shadowreaper. They give the most underperforming classes insane cards that carry them for a couple sets until they drop off again
This year I have 2500 ranked wins with warrior. I am a warrior person. When I saw these cards I felt such overstimulation that I shed a few tears of joy (I am diagnosed with adhd and moments of overstimulation do happen)
This warr legendary might just work. The perk is you basically just build an entirely defensive deck, run Odyn, Azshara, Snapshot boi and you might just be able to get there.
Odyn is set at the perfect mana to make him strictly a control or combo card. If he was 5/6 mana he’d be broken and used by aggro/mid decks to close out with big armor gains.
Steam Guardian can make menagerie Warrior very strong if you just run Black Rock and Roll in your deck, sure you're giving up the best draw and one of the main reasons for playing menagerie Warrior but Warrior have other very good options for draw... but we'll see...
There are two things that I think will Lead to Odyn being garbage. Obviously, he's an 8 mana do nothing. But also, to have survived to the point where you can play him you probably used most of your armor gaining cards. Maybe he will be insane, but I don't see it. Another thing is that he comes down around the same time as the titans, so he has to compete with them. I just don't see a world where he is good at all.

i mean sure odyn is good,but think about it like this...why waste the time playing an 8 mana do nothing and then maybe kill your oponent over time by playing armor cards...when you can just play astalor and kill him instantly?
I see 4 pretty big problems with Odyn. 1. He is slow as hell. 8 Mana do nothing is not only bad, but in the upcoming hyper aggressive meta, it is giga slow. 2. It needs a ton of armor support cards, otherwise it does nothing. And most of these cards are not really good. Would they be good, there would be already a control warrior deck. 3. Because control warrior has not the problem, that it wouldn't have a finisher. You have Grommash, you have Trenchstalker and a ton of good neutral ones. Or buff your minions with black rock and roll. And so on. You never needed another win condition, you needed a good early game, good card draw and survivability. And I don't see enough of that. 4. Yes it sounds insane to play something like Heavy Plate after Odyn, but the thing is you can't store them. You need them to survive and play them before you have played Odyn. And also to get your Stonekin Armorer or your Weapon running. Or other cards if they are playable. And then you are actively reducing your own win condition and that is the problem with such a card. So I don't really see Odyn.
You win vs aggro by outlast them, so you don't really need Odyn but your armor cards does. In the end, 2 armor and 2 dmg every turn can seal the game. Vs Control, you do not need to use all your armor card early. And the dmg burst is very big. You can deal like 55+ dmg OTK . And you know what, since this is 1 card wincon, you can play it with Black rock and Roll.

@@Noone-uw3mk I think there's a world where Warrior has enough survivability to fight off aggro (especially with real fire spells for thoribelore and such now) and naturally beats combo decks by having 60 health leaving this to be a control mirror card which aren't that bad to have around. Rarran is meme'ing on the weapon, but I think the card will drastically help against aggro because it is going to kill 3 minions and heal for 12. I'd much rather be alive against aggro than have 8 cards in hand and be dead like with Outrider's Axe.
Khaz'goroth's stats are so low because of smelt, chorus riff, blackrock n roll, and lorthemar. Card is meh by itself, but an absolute house with any buffs.
@Noone-uw3mk it's more about how the titan has its power limited because of other cards, not that it is the best target. It does create a critical mass of cards that benefit greatly, if that's the direction you want.
@tank_dempsey you say that like warrior doesn't have massive amounts of armor cards and board clears to stall enough till turn 8. We'll see after release but already predicting a nerf of some kind.
@tank_dempsey I wouldn't be surprised if they had to go to that length to make it balanced. Currently, there are 5 cards or 10 copies of cards that generate 5+ armor at once. With 3 of the 5 being 8 armor and one is variable based on its attack stat being the minotuaren. That's 8 free attack from each card or more. Not counting any other generated armor cards from school teacher and copying them with the legendary from the previous set. I'm just calling it now that odyn is going to need a change, and I see them making it once per turn or bumping it to ten mana if left the same.

With the mech at the start, whilst there may not be a mech warrior, there is amalgam warrior

Armorsmith+Skipper combos in Wild about to do 9 billion damage to the enemy's face.
Since Skipper was printed, it became Warrior's favorite card... I never liked Warrior, but when it came out it was soo good to play it against DH...
Craftsman hammer might not combo well with Odyn, but I definetly like it to keep aggro decks in line and to activate the armorers ability.
I say it's for the pre-Odyn turns. Armor gain to stay alive long enough.

The elemental and esp stoneskin armorer are so good they will likely be a staple in majority of Wild decks moving forward.
