Women is very Passionate, Skilled and Hard worker. She puts all she has into doing the Job Right and Beautiful God Bless her and People that are like her.
She's making this look way to easy! Awesome work!!...If this were me my shoes would have concrete caked all over them. Her orange shoes are almost spotless!! (And there's a hole in them!!)
Any "skim coat" over bricks is going to be a very temporary repair, unless it's just a base for ceramic tiles. The thin mortar coat will probably hair line crack as it dries and shrinks.
Nope. You assume they use the same materials you do. They may have special formula. As a kid, I played all summer in an electric generator cooling pool with this kind of render. There were no cracks or chips. The water affected it not the slightest.
If it's a warm climate, it may last a while...Cold climate...Won't last one cold season before it cracks...You have to use special epoxy cement for skim coats like that...
No, you don't need a special epoxy. I did the same thing in New Jersey where we have some very cold winters. I simply used a bag of cement from Home Depot and it has lasted lasted over five years with not a single issue.
@@bigmacdaddy1234 If you did it on your own house; that's fine...I'm a contractor in philly; you can use a patching cement from home depot, I've used it in the bad areas but; coating brick steps with plain Mortar is a bad idea...When I use an additive I can stand behind my work.....I'm glad yours worked out for ya...
A thin veneer of sand mix cement is going to crack very quickly when exposed to weather. On steps you should always round over the leading edge of the tread to prevent chipping. This looks good to a layman, but professionals know this is not going to last.
@@raymondsmullen3659 haha as a Tile Setter of 17 years floating hundreds mud showers and floors the technique is good. it works. it'll last a while, but yeah. I guess they gotta work with what they got.
I applaud the fact that she's actually doing this. She probably got fed up waiting for her son or husband to do this and decided to do it herself, even though the stairs will probably fall apart in a couple of months.
I recently saw an abandoned house in the Nebraska Sandhills made of "sand-crete" blocks. The current owner said his great grandfather had homestead the place about a hundred years ago. He made the blocks himself out the the locally abundant sand. No gravel was available.

Просто заштукатурила ровно, что здесь такого? Но лучше целиком залить из бетона с хорошей ровно окрашенной опалубкой - трудовые затраты и деньги те же, результат - на века.
This woman is amazing. She made it seem so easy that anyone can do it. Ha only with practice and mastery that she has. However watching her technique did show how to ditch all the money making contraptions of the 21st that’s shoved down to us at us through us forced to use items or you’ll be fined or etc.. And just be simple at one with are material and self and when we’re done you feel perfect.
Graeme Evans Because there is the wrong way and the right way in this case is the wrong way because if it freezes the mortar he is putting it will peel off
As a suggestion I indicated that each step should measure at the base between 27 or 28 cm and height between 18 or 17cm, respectively. It should also have a 2 cm protrusion at the base. This pattern is basic so that the ladder is comfortable for people and prevents the heel from bouncing up when the person descends.
