I think that for a new Skylander game toys for bob shouldn't focus on a gimmick and instead just focus on making the best possible skylanders game and that there shouldn't be new figures released and they could instead rerelease old skylanders specifically ones that have became too expensive like ro-bow, chompy mage, wild storm, spotlight, Echo, Blackout, thrillapede, double dare trigger happy, scratch, doom stone, and some other ones

I like the idea, but I would be in favor of bringing out a new Skylander for each element so that you also have something new. And the idea of producing old Skylanders again is really brilliant. But they should cost less.

Indeed as Skylanders should have been not just Naturally but in its own Universe and Timeline diverging from both the Insomniac and Legends Timelines.
Indeed Least Likely but Not impossible though with the combined powers of both Activision,Microsoft and Toys For Bob I can bet 10 Burps of Eruptor that a development of Skylanders 10th Anniversery adition might happen in the future to honour the journey that Skylanders has taken all the way towards Skylanders academy before finaly allowing us skylanders fans to answer the ultimate question of what happened to the Skylander version of the Dragon Ancestors.

God, I just hope we *do* get something new for Toys for Bob! Y'know, since all of us (even myself) wish to see something new about Skylanders, I decided to come up with my own idea of a Skylanders spin-off game that can *revive* the franchise.
I call it: *Skylanders Eclipse*
It is a spinoff that *solely* focuses on the dark and light elements. Why, well ever since they were introduced in Trap Team, Superchargers and Imaginators, they overall had the *LEAST* amount of skylanders! So, not only will my spinoff bring back the skylanders franchise, but also give the dark and light elements more collectional variety and love/attention! The roster will be 32 total (similar to the SSA roster, but also includes the "gimmick"landers) (16 each) and will consist of
Eight Core Skylanders
One Giant
Two Swap Force (new swappabilites will be Gravitate and Rhythm)
One Trap Master
Two Minis
One Supercharger
One Sensei (Light Bazooker and Dark Quickshot)
Here's the storyline: the main villainess is: *Empress Eclipta* she was once a standard Drow Witch who her and her Drow legion served under Lord Kaos! However, as Kaos failed to conquer Skylands, she then went off on her own to find another evil plan to rid the Skylanders! That's when she stumbled upon a book that contained eclipse magic. First, she started practicing solar magic, later on lunar magic. After her years of mastering eclipse magic, she then began her true intention: merging both the sun and the moon together in creating a total annular eclipse so powerful, it'll *eradicate* all of Skylands!
I'm also bringing back PVP battle mode, Heroic Challenges, Swap Zones, race zones (excluding Land since it only associates with Fire, Earth, Tech and Undead), basically *everything* from the past six installments, but put in a dark and light standpoint.
Lastly, Knight Mare, Knight Light, Spotlight, Blackout, Astroblast, Nightfall, Aurora, Starcast, Blaster Tron, and Hood Sickle will be playable in the game.

I don't like the story plot part as much, but i do like the rest of it!
Usually the skylander games plot kicks off because of random shit happening.
Like the first game just being destroying the core of pight and.... that's it really.
In the second game, kaos throws himself into a portal and accidentally brought an Arkeyan robot back to life, accidentally uncovering the secrets of the hand of Arkas.
In the third game he fails to evil-ify the big bois, so just throws all of the evil into the volcano last minute, but absorbs the powers of evil himself instead by accident..
In Trap Team the traptanium prison is destroyed accidentally causing dark and light to re-enter the world, and set the doom raiders free. Then they betrayed kaos, which causes a distraction to get the ultimate weapon.....
THEN in SC he accidentally made the darkness sentient and gave it power by feeding it Skylands. Then he had to fix the mistake and became the final boss. And theeen... well you get the point.
I don't think that tradition should be broken. Eclipsa shouldn't be this competent or knowledgeable. Maybe she stumbles apon something that gives her power or something. Like... what if she made a CORE OF DARKNESS out of the broken pieces of the core of light, so instead of the sun and moon it's the source of all darkness and source of all light or something like that that The Ancients used to create mind magic or something. And the powers are more than she can realistically control but because of her single minded motivation and lust for power ignors this. Maybe she's like a huge kaos fan boy or something like that and does things in his name without him knowing. So eventually she brings him into it and their final boss fight is taking on those attributes. So Kaos is darkness and shadow themed while Eclipsa is light and radiance themed and they help each other fight the skylanders in a sort of complimentary tag team situation.
After the final boss fight, they fight verbally but also weirdly keep complimenting each other until they decide to go out for hamburgers somewhere, with romantic implications. 😅 😂
At the end of the skylanders Giants 10th anniversary video 2022 they said something right around the corner 2 years from now it’s 2024 hopefully they finally announce a new skylanders game

Indeed since Activision is owned by MIcrosoft/Xbox now that the boys at Toys For Bob have taken into account when considering a potential partnership with Microsoft since they have full ownership of Xbox and Activision
