The reveal was short but to the point, which probably makes sense for a mid episode content drop! How did you guys feel about it? :P
There’s was some confusion in the stream but dropping the whole story at once it’s suppose to be for Episode 2 not act 2 of ep 1 they corrected themselves a few times
Same: I think this only applies to the acts in future episodes, not the current acts, unfortunately. You might want to post a correction to avoid confusion, Houndish.

L stream. Terrible stream. Same old, same old. More battlegrounds. Yay. New perks all favor snipers aka still hunt celestial nighthawk hunters will cook even more than they already do. So I guess I’ll have to play hunter. As well as adding perks but not even adding at the least 3 extra perk points. The solution to everyone’s question on how are the new episodes any different from seasons and not just a rebranding, “ok so we are gunna release all three story beats at once!” Then quickly moves on. I’m literally excited for just weapons. It doesn’t feel like anything changed.

bungie literally said in a pre tfs twab that the artifact would have boosts for snipers.
@@jimmcmeen761that’s just literally not true at all. Unless you are a dog water player. I clear the raid every week. On each class. Every class is good. I’d even argue Titan is the best class for every encounter. Minus the dps plate on witness. But they still shred on add clear for witness, which is very needed.

Just want to clarify Bungie has recently stated that Story Beat Changes (to all come out at once) will not come into effect until Episode 2: Revenant in October.
Like many, the recent stream and recent individuals contradicted this statement saying it will come out in the next act. That is false and won’t happen until the next episode. @houndish

Can’t blame them trying to be transparent. Definitely glad the game I choose to play attempts that.
I don't really care what they do. I work 40+ hours a week and I already know people are gonna complain no matter what they do. They can have new content every day every week and people will find something to complain about.
But at least now some people can do it all and go play some other game instead of waiting. So it should be a W

I just checked Zavala at the tower and saw what the Adept weapon was for this week, so if you're interested in farming the Nightfall or GM, that's your weapon.

I wonder why your power grid is so fragile that it breaks from a hurricane. In the Netherlands all the wires are under ground and won't break because of a hurricane. Also we don't get hurricanes 😂 but I honestly hope for you that your power grid comes back up quickly.

Something I'd like to see, in terms of armors, is more longcoats for Warlocks; slimmer Titan plating; and for Hunters there should be scarf-only and backpack-only class items, just as there are hood-only and cape-only examples.
Just got an adept uzeme with clown/attrition orbs and explosive payload. With the new row of perks coming next week that should be a decent legendary solar sniper
If you hover over another players name it shows whether they are above the current season pass cap of 100. I think this means that the progress you earn over level 100 will be added during next Act
All of those new perks feed right into the new exotic sniper

And Whisper of the worm, which will ramp up damage faster since its heavy with the new artifact mod. Snipers will be my go-to anti barrier now.

I actually like the look of the Solstice Armor for this year has kinda of a western vibe to it.
If you REALLY wanna prep save the Seasonal weekly quests. Since they give Xp you can save onto them and jump up in seasonal ranks like mad.

By just buffing them they wont become just as good as prismatic hunter kiddo smh. Its the entire kit that makes the prismatic hunter beyond broken and the titan pisspoor weak and useless. Bungie got to do more than just buffing titans to become just as good.
They clarified that the story release doesn't change in this episode. It changes in episode 2 and 3.

Not everyone is interested in collection, I have plenty dust saved up, but if I think an ornament or sparrow or ghost or shader looks ugly I don't buy it

Not everyone has a need to collect everything in the game.
On top of that, he saves up BD so he can spend it on other Cosmetics, such as the Event Armour Ornaments, that are always available either for 1500 Silver or 6000 Bright Dust...

The way Swords (and weapons overall) are placed on your back, depends on what armour you have - there are 2 different positions.

The Story change will be applied in Episode 2 - aka in October. Acts 2 and 3 of Episode 1 will still work on a Weekly system.

You don't have to reach Rank 100 before Act 2 starts - they will just unlock more Season Pass Tiers on top of the traditional 100.

@@dvb8637Throughout destiny history? I think you’re forgetting how titans could solo bosses in 1 phase with strand titan. How banner of war made them basically invincible for a while. How broken Arc titan was with heart of inmost light, and before that with storm grenades. How they’ve been the PvP meta for so long with their cloudstrike, smg, and PK’s. Though that’s changed a little now.
Titans have been broken for a long time, and prismatic hunter is nowhere near the most broken in destiny history.
I’m not saying prismatic titan doesn’t need a buff. It definitely does. But don’t go hating on every other class calling for nerfs just because titans aren’t the best anymore.
Also, I agree that hunters need a slight nerf, but not a huge one. In my opinion, still hunter shouldn’t work with nighthawk. It makes it WAY too good, and unbalanced for the other classes.

Not really no, it's been lackluster.
When they said episodes I thought it would have cutscenes and compelling plot line as we progressed. It's basically shrinkflation seasons! Instead of 4 we get 3. Instead of 2 dungeons and 1 raid we get 1 dungeon and one raid. Everything is still time gated. It's been a trashy start. I'll jump back in on the 16th in the meantime I'm grinding hard on the first ascendant. If they still keep going like the way it's always been. I'll just play the 1st ascendant and play destiny on it's last week.
