We went to St Augustine when we went to Florida on a vacation and my husband and I got married in Florida but I actually had to buy a video of St Augustine it because it was so cool and so back in the day the things they did do they still have the building with the schoolhouse and the desk in there that was so cool to see when I was there how they had to dip their pens in the ink and stuff had the books on the desk I just thought that was really cool love you guys and God bless you

I live near Jamestown in Virginia, the oldest English settlement (though younger than St. Augustine) and it's sort of like this. But what they've done at St. Augustine looks larger and far more fun. Between Jamestown, Yorktown, and Williamsburg though, we have plenty of "Colonial theme parks." I loved going to them when I was a child. I'm glad the kids had this experience.
We want to make it to all of those one day!

8:25 cadiebug. There is a mall here in my city that I used to go to all the time with my bestie and roomate when I lived in a hostel. Now it's been so many yrs and we have moved to different cities but I always look back to the time spent there with my best friend.
