True this is a great Christmas movie, yet my #1 pick is Dr. Seuss's How The Grinch Stole Christmas. and i mean the one with Jim Carrey. not that shitty remake with Benedict Cumberbatch as the "Illumination" version of the Grinch, cause that shit sucked.
@@brandonboynton6173 It's good to see someone that agrees that the first Lethal Weapon & Die Hard movies are in fact Christmas movies. I've had people try to deny that for years.

I think the best scene of the movie is when Clark is watching the old movies in the attic. It shows that he really wanted to make a great Christmas with his family.
I tell you...I could just watch these excerpts and be satisfied, a lot were left out though. I absolutely love this movie. I've watched it every year since it came out. Started a tradition of watching with my mother...now I've passed it on to my kids.
This is the best Christmas/Holiday movie of all time! Who can’t relate to the bullshit n stress you go through during the holidays. So you can make magic happen for the kids/family!

Griswald's wife is stunning herself. Than again, unfortunately marriage needs work to make things exciting again and not looking for something different.
But that's just part one of the joke part 2 just really sends it over the edge the first time I watched it and heard it I was telling everybody I knew the next day great great 2 part punch line
Sources say that Clark broke his pinky while punching Santa in the face. Lol! He improvised the rest of the scene by kicking the reindeer, even tho he was in alot of pain, he carried on with the scene. Hallelujah, holyshit, where's the tylenol? 😂😂 I love this movie and Chevy Chase. 💜💜💜
The part w/Uncle Louis & Aunt Bethany. Uncle Louis : They want you to say grace Aunt Bethany: "Grace? She passed away 30 years ago!" Uncle Louis; "THE BLESSING!! " So Aunt Bethany starts saying the pledge of allegiance
This is the only Christmas movie I watch every Christmas for a great laughter! Movies with Chevy Chase are always funny and this is one of my favorite!😊😀🤪🤪😃😂😂😅
Most comedy movies these days just try too hard. They come across as cheap gag fests with no intelligence or heart. 40 Year Old Virgin and Clerks 2 are the only modernish comedy films that compare to the heavyweights of the classical era. The best comedies are ones that make you laugh AND cry. Or at least have an intelligent or heartfelt story and gags.
Apparently the first 'Vacation' and this 'Christmas' vacation was the most popular of the series, perhaps simply because of how relatable it is for every family.
My exact line to my fiance (we are going through difficult times): "Worse? How could things get any worse? Look around you (insert my fiance's name or yours), we're at the threshold of hell!".
The most mysterious part of the movie, is when is when Clark and the neighbors have such tensions. I think the filmmakers shoulda clued the viewers in on where all the hostilities came from. Why does Todd and Margot hate him so much? On the other hand, he and Bill, his coworker, seem to have the best relationship in the whole movie. Bill treats him with much respect. What a contrast!
This is my favorite movie ever. I’m a car guy through and through and a product of the 80s so it’s hard to say but Smokey and The Bandit comes in 2nd to Christmas Vacation
"Hallelujah...holy sh**! Where's the Tylenol?" Gets me every time. LMAO

A testament to his genius.
