If she is unable to do her job, which is being on the show , it seems unfair to Kim or Khloe that she is still payed the same amount of money. They really are tired of doing this show, they're too big for it now, they've got soo much money now that they don't need those paychecks anymore. Unfortunately they also know that they need the show in order to stay relevant which allows them to make all the millions they're making from their businesses. Without the show and the drama, all their businesses are going to lose steam and they lose money. So that is why they're all stuck doing the show even though they actually hate it.

Kim actually seems serious about becoming a lawyer, so she needs to cut something out to focus on that. Kourtney clearly wants to be a stay at home mom/lifestyle guru. Khloe has actually hit success with a tv hosting gig, so can parlay that into a permanent career. Kylie has most definitely outgrown the show with her makeup brand and can sustain herself beyond it. Kendall is a model, I guess. Scott is doing real estate and has his douchey lifestyle brand. And Kris is probably happy with whatever makes her the most money. Now is truly the time to cancel it on their own terms.

My theory here is that Khloe and Kim are getting scared that the show is going to have nothing interesting to base it on, therefore ending, and as Kris said, they’ve been doing it for a long time so I definitely feel as though they all know this. The biggest issue is that Kortney signed on for this and is being paid millions of dollars for the next few years but has decided that now after the deal is struck she no longer wants to be a major part of the show anymore. She can not expect to just walk away or do less time than the others because this is how she feels, she must pull her weight and if she chooses not to, then contracts are made to be broken, so they should evaluate hers, redo a new contract where she agrees to less TV time, but also she agrees to a lot less money than the others are being paid, that way they all get equal shares and the fighting stops, or basically stop taping and discontinue the whole show. What Kortney does not fully grasp anymore is that to some of the fans she is favourite, and its basically us fans who pay .her salary, because if we don't watch anymore, the ratings drop and the show is cancelled.
