My heart goes out to you Viktor. You have no idea how much I wish I could donate to you and your fight to save animals. My biggest dream in life is to have a non-profit NO KILL animal rescue/sanctuary, I have not the first clue as to how I could possibly even start to do this. For all intents and purposes, I am homeless with 3 dogs I rescued in 2011. I am 100% disabled but my first priority has always been my animals, as a matter of fact, I am getting divorced because I refuse to give up my animals for my husband. I will choose animals over people every time. I always have, and I always will. Keep up your wonderful work and know there are those of us that, even though we may not be able to contribute monetarily, we support you in our hearts and our thoughts and prayers are always with you.
I agree. I lost my home and was prepared to live on the street with my dog because people would take me in but not my dog. Wasn't leaving my dog. I was blessed because my son wouldn't allow it. His wife is not a pet person but me and my dog have lived here since 2016.

Dear Viktor, I want you to know that you are such a kind and generous person. Unfortunately, there are those who will take advantage of such things. I also want you to know that like this man, I too have a score of mental illnesses. That being said, mental illness is never an excuse to treat someone so poorly. An explanation maybe, but not an excuse. My mental troubles will never lead me to be ungrateful for the help and care that I may recieve. It's also not going to make me any more likely to show up to someone's house and shoot them in the head :). It's actually more likely for someone without mental problems to do that than those of us who do. In short, please don't let the erratic actions of the few ruin all the good you put out in the world for the many who need it. Whether or not he wants to admit it, he needed you and you came through for him. Laura i'm sure is more than grateful for what you have done for her.

Hello my dear friend, I watch this video again, seriously words can not express how deeply saddened by how you manage to keep on top of real-life extreme rescues given from the heart. When I lost Lolly, another part of my heart died. I can not express the sorrow and grief years later of how much she meant to me, I have lost people dear to me, Lolly was no less than the pain of three times of misdiagnosed accidents.. I am slowly finding the legacy Lolly left to cherish and keep close to the torn heart of a wife, mother and Nanny. You did the right thing for Laura, and we thank you. Sometimes I believe that the whole world is going crazy! There are many people with deep mental problems: we try to help, and often get "kicked in the teeth" for it. I worked with people at 'end of life' for 17 years I helped them do what could not do themselves just as you do...as you developed deep sympathy for animals good or bad ... animals learn to trust a lot easier then humans ... I worked with those who had personality disorders & etc... translation I mean is they can't change how they interact even when it doesn't work for them and it hurts themselves... I felt sorry for them... It was all at their own hand, at their own behaviour they really suffer... I would take them out in community for success. I would do for them what they could not learn or do for themselves... Anyways the man did not understand about why you did not want him to do trip .. His behaviour now is not about what you originally did for his dog & him but about where his head is at... He is in crisis because of something that happen on trip... you all are 'safe' for him and he can express with you what he could not on trip....the other situation on trip really hurt him but not safe for him to vent to who ever that was... I think that HIS DOG DIED.. Just remember never take it personally it about where their head is at... for real!!!!!

Actually there was no fundraiser to help Laura.. I told the story afterwards.. we paid out of our reserves. I told the story just to show what we do here :-)

If nobody donatet you probably would have paid for the other animals you rescued because you do everything you can. But with the help of others you can allow yourself to sometimes pay for poor people. :) This is how I thought.

Your biggest problem, what you have Victor, your heart is to soft, every time when you see an animal in distress, hurt or ill, with or without an owner, you will jump in and help. To work with humans are very difficult, and unpredictable. That's way I prefer the Animal Kingdom above humans, they don't swear at you, or attack you without any reason. You shall in the future again jump in help those who in need of medical help..... it's you .... you can't change yourself, it will happen over and over again. Be strong my friend, know it's difficult, will keep you in my prayers. For Laura, hope she is well , if not hope she's in doggy heaven, released from her terrible pain. Very sad story.

I understand. Its almost as if they later resent you for being able to take care of their animals when they cannot. A lack of true gratitude replaced by an abnormally large ego is the cause. They focus on their head instead of their heart, and thats the real problem. Bless you for all you do, in spit of how utterly painful it can be for you. You are wonderful, Viktor.
Unfortunately Viktor, we all want to help someone in need. But there comes a time when you have to step back and count to 10 before you respond. It's very hard to do, but after the first time you say no it gets easier. The problem with helping people is exactly what is happening to you. You have a huge heart and you want to save the world, but you can be your own worst enemy because of it. I used to reach out a hand to lots of people and time after time, I got burned. I finally woke up one day and said to myself...."what do others do for me when I need help". The answer was "very little". One saying that goes around and around in my head after all my own experiences is this... "no good deed goes unpunished". Sad but true. All I can say is, hesitate before responding Viktor, it's a cycle of abuse we put ourselves through when we reach out too much, save it for those who really earn the help. JMHO...
Please stay safe. This world is messed up and we need people like you. Thank you for being so loving and going through all this for the sake of these animals.
It really saddens me to hear this because they seemed such a lovely couple. I remember Laura´s case and we were all so happy for her successful surgery. It was so kind of you to step in and help. Please don´t be discouraged by this, just keep being the amazing person you are. I hope you feel our love and support and know that we are all here for you.

Thank you victor ijust found out this month my tiny rescue chihuahua has a very serious heart problem and friday morning he had a bad seizure. Am on a limited money budget but i will get him the care he needs i dont know how long he will be here but at least if he passes he will die knowing he had the most loving owner and home he could ever have so people spend time and show your babies how much you care and love them good luck victor thank you for all you and your team does
Prayers for your little one. I had a dog that had seizures, he lived a long, full, happy life. He was 19 when he passed. There are treatments. I pray for your little one's heart and condition and have every hope he can get the treatment to help his condition and prolong his life with you as I can see you love him very much.

I know it's hard to deal with someone that has mental issues. I know first hand and they are sometimes misunderstood. My teenage son has ADHD and Bipolar. I'm a single mother with my own health issues. I deal with Lupus and kidney failure. And some days are very difficult for me bcuz my son can be verbal and mean. But his also a wonderful and caring young person. He loves God and has a good life. I'm sharing this bcuz I know how difficult mental health can be an awful challenge. This gives you more power in the situation. You are not hiding and keeping it to yourself. Viktor, you are much respected and loved for all the time and effort you put in for the new owners, and the lovely animals. Do not worry about the ungrateful people. The main concern is the ill pet. We have all in some shape or form met these people it is sad.
Because I have personally donated to individuals so many times to help with their animals, as well as to organizations, I have had to deal with so many similar scenarios. One thing I have learned from this is to offer to help if they also make the effort to chip in as well (even just a small amount), so that they understand that ultimately when they take on an animal they need to feel that sense of responsibility to the animal. We have all been in difficult financial situations, but if our loved ones, including our animals, are any kind of priority for us, we will do whatever it takes to see they are provided for. From what you describe, it sounds like these folks (at least the man), when their own company went under, they did not want to find something, anything if it meant working for someone else. And it sort of sounds like this venture of finding donors to continue to support him on this trek was just another way to avoid getting just any kind of job to get back on his feet financially, especially now in lieu of what you have described as his threatening behavior at present towards you. Let us know what finally happens, sorry you are being treated this way by him.

My heart goes out to you Viktor. You have no idea how much I wish I could donate to you and your fight to save animals. My biggest dream in life is to have a non-profit NO KILL animal rescue/sanctuary, I have not the first clue as to how I could possibly even start to do this. For all intents and purposes, I am homeless with 3 dogs I rescued in 2011. I am 100% disabled but my first priority has always been my animals, as a matter of fact, I am getting divorced because I refuse to give up my animals for my husband. I will choose animals over people every time. I always have, and I always will. Keep up your wonderful work and know there are those of us that, even though we may not be able to contribute monetarily, we support you in our hearts and our thoughts and prayers are always with you.

I agree. I lost my home and was prepared to live on the street with my dog because people would take me in but not my dog. Wasn't leaving my dog. I was blessed because my son wouldn't allow it. His wife is not a pet person but me and my dog have lived here since 2016.

Dear Viktor, I want you to know that you are such a kind and generous person. Unfortunately, there are those who will take advantage of such things. I also want you to know that like this man, I too have a score of mental illnesses. That being said, mental illness is never an excuse to treat someone so poorly. An explanation maybe, but not an excuse. My mental troubles will never lead me to be ungrateful for the help and care that I may recieve. It's also not going to make me any more likely to show up to someone's house and shoot them in the head :). It's actually more likely for someone without mental problems to do that than those of us who do. In short, please don't let the erratic actions of the few ruin all the good you put out in the world for the many who need it. Whether or not he wants to admit it, he needed you and you came through for him. Laura i'm sure is more than grateful for what you have done for her.

Hello my dear friend, I watch this video again, seriously words can not express how deeply saddened by how you manage to keep on top of real-life extreme rescues given from the heart. When I lost Lolly, another part of my heart died. I can not express the sorrow and grief years later of how much she meant to me, I have lost people dear to me, Lolly was no less than the pain of three times of misdiagnosed accidents.. I am slowly finding the legacy Lolly left to cherish and keep close to the torn heart of a wife, mother and Nanny. You did the right thing for Laura, and we thank you. Sometimes I believe that the whole world is going crazy! There are many people with deep mental problems: we try to help, and often get "kicked in the teeth" for it. I worked with people at 'end of life' for 17 years I helped them do what could not do themselves just as you do...as you developed deep sympathy for animals good or bad ... animals learn to trust a lot easier then humans ... I worked with those who had personality disorders & etc... translation I mean is they can't change how they interact even when it doesn't work for them and it hurts themselves... I felt sorry for them... It was all at their own hand, at their own behaviour they really suffer... I would take them out in community for success. I would do for them what they could not learn or do for themselves... Anyways the man did not understand about why you did not want him to do trip .. His behaviour now is not about what you originally did for his dog & him but about where his head is at... He is in crisis because of something that happen on trip... you all are 'safe' for him and he can express with you what he could not on trip....the other situation on trip really hurt him but not safe for him to vent to who ever that was... I think that HIS DOG DIED.. Just remember never take it personally it about where their head is at... for real!!!!!

It does look as though Laura has died and now he feels guilty at going on this trip and he has to take it out on someone who told him the truth about what would happen if he took her with him.

Actually there was no fundraiser to help Laura.. I told the story afterwards.. we paid out of our reserves. I told the story just to show what we do here :-)

If nobody donatet you probably would have paid for the other animals you rescued because you do everything you can. But with the help of others you can allow yourself to sometimes pay for poor people. :) This is how I thought.

Your biggest problem, what you have Victor, your heart is to soft, every time when you see an animal in distress, hurt or ill, with or without an owner, you will jump in and help. To work with humans are very difficult, and unpredictable. That's way I prefer the Animal Kingdom above humans, they don't swear at you, or attack you without any reason. You shall in the future again jump in help those who in need of medical help..... it's you .... you can't change yourself, it will happen over and over again. Unfortunately Viktor, we all want to help someone in need. But there comes a time when you have to step back and count to 10 before you respond. It's very hard to do, but after the first time you say no it gets easier. The problem with helping people is exactly what is happening to you. You have a huge heart and you want to save the world, but you can be your own worst enemy because of it. I used to reach out a hand to lots of people and time after time, I got burned. I finally woke up one day and said to myself...."what do others do for me when I need help". The answer was "very little". One saying that goes around and around in my head after all my own experiences is this... "no good deed goes unpunished". Sad but true. All I can say is, hesitate before responding Viktor, it's a cycle of abuse we put ourselves through when we reach out too much, save it for those who really earn the help. JMHO...
Please stay safe. This world is messed up and we need people like you. Thank you for being so loving and going through all this for the sake of these animals.
It really saddens me to hear this because they seemed such a lovely couple. I remember Laura´s case and we were all so happy for her successful surgery. It was so kind of you to step in and help. Am on a limited money budget but i will get him the care he needs i dont know how long he will be here but at least if he passes he will die knowing he had the most loving owner and home he could ever have so people spend time and show your babies how much you care and love them good luck victor thank you for all you and your team does

Prayers for your little one. I had a dog that had seizures, he lived a long, full, happy life. He was 19 when he passed. There are treatments. I pray for your little one's heart and condition and have every hope he can get the treatment to help his condition and prolong his life with you as I can see you love him very much.

I know it's hard to deal with someone that has mental issues. I know first hand and they are sometimes misunderstood. My teenage son has ADHD and Bipolar. I'm a single mother with my own health issues. I deal with Lupus and kidney failure. And some days are very difficult for me bcuz my son can be verbal and mean. But his also a wonderful and caring young person. He loves God and has a good life. I'm sharing this bcuz I know how difficult mental health can be an awful challenge. Viktor, you are much respected and loved for all the time and effort you put in for the new owners, and the lovely animals. Do not worry about the ungrateful people. The main concern is the ill pet. We have all in some shape or form met these people it is sad.
Because I have personally donated to individuals so many times to help with their animals, as well as to organizations, I have had to deal with so many similar scenarios. One thing I have learned from this is to offer to help if they also make the effort to chip in as well (even just a small amount), so that they understand that ultimately when they take on an animal they need to feel that sense of responsibility to the animal. We have all been in difficult financial situations, but if our loved ones, including our animals, are any kind of priority for us, we will do whatever it takes to see they are provided for. From what you describe, it sounds like these folks (at least the man), when their own company went under, they did not want to find something, anything if it meant working for someone else. And it sort of sounds like this venture of finding donors to continue to support him on this trek was just another way to avoid getting just any kind of job to get back on his feet financially, especially now in lieu of what you have described as his threatening behavior at present towards you. Let us know what finally happens, sorry you are being treated this way by him.
