Thanks for having me on the channel, had loads of fun! 😂 Love the video, you've captured the joy of the SRT brilliantly. And yes the car is available for sale, replacement arriving end of this month.
The noise is the signature piece of this car. Makes it more special in the UK cause the V8 isn’t a common sound, unlike over in North America. Love the genuine reactions from the girls when you hit the loud pedal ❤
Thanks, that's a great video, especially as I'm looking at one of these tomorrow. I believe if you buy one registered after May 2017 the road tax is only £190!
Really solid channel concept. Hope you can do some partnership with dealerships for reviews. I may have bought a V8 Cayenne GTS using dad maths after seeing your DB9 😂
Hi Ben and girls. Hope your doing good. That was one cool video. I love the white stitching on the inside of the doors. Those front seats could of used a map pocket is some type. Stay safe and take care.
Brilliant video, I've actually not long brought a jeep srt for all the reasons you said in the video, my wife uses for the school run and shopping, and I love using on the weekend, best of both worlds, we avarage 20 mpg on the daily and 30 mpg on a run,
@ 10:10 - I have this same issue with my family car, a Volvo XC90. There's a sharp corner near where I live that always has vehicles parked along it. Every time we go home, we get a warning going into this turn because the car believes we are at risk of a collision with another vehicle. Be thankful your car didn't auto-brake and cause you more confusion lol
Ben, love the channel and enjoy the reaction of the kids. You need to try a Jag XJ-S. I Iive in Florida and have the 2015 470/435 version of the V8 in short wheelbase form. It is exceptional in comfort and very quick with loads of inside space for what you need. I know your mate Jayem has tried a few but think it well worth your attention.
Love this review, really love the Grand Cherokee SRT, some of them I believe fall into the £180 solid rate tax bracket too (my 2017 Mustang did too). Near £700 a year would catch me out every time when it came around. Our current 2019 Jeep Compass does the same thing with the collision warning and parked cars, very annoying and as you say more distracting than anything, I've not worked out how to turn it off yet. All the best from a dad who does the school run in a classic shape Mini!
@@dadcars there really is. 4 adulta can get in there fine. I wouldn't exsct want to do loads of big journeys in it but theyre like a tardis really. Let me kjow if you ever want to do a dad review of it. Based in Horsham, Sussex. All the best.
I have a Dodge charger srt in Dubai. Been looking for one in the UK and the best way to get a RHD drive one here is through the jeep grand Cherokee srt
Thinking about selling my f80 m3 for one of these always loved them and need something bigger. Does this have a valved exhaust system? Just if I wanted to do a res delete 😅
They very familiar with the fun and drama of a V8 or v12 now! 🙌😅 yeah SUVs tend not to do well views wise with subscribers but they are fun to film sometimes. I’ll have to do all the main performance SUVs in time!
This one is not too bad but because it's more aimed at performance even the normal setting it's quite stiff on bumps and pot holes. Plus those big wheels dont help
I don't like any SUVs but this one is an exception. Well, trackhawk is my favourite, but only 20 were sold in the UK, so slim chances I'd ever get one. I love the fact that it still has a proper hemi V8, not 1.5tsi or anything else that would explode after 100k miles. Yes, you should replace your wives X5 for this 😂
The Grand Cherokee gets a pass from me as the proportions look ok, a lot of SUVs (Especially Range Rovers!) look horribly proportioned, but the Grand Cherokee looks 'in scale'. Although the noise was so glorious I'd probably forgive it. Congrats on 20k Ben, feels like not so long ago you were celebrating 10k, so hopefully seeing that next milestone has helped keep you motivated.
Do suv reviews with your wife. What sold me on the 911 was normal guy super car's wife mentioning the "practicality" of the back seats for storage (purses for women). Now, I can't do a sports car without 4 seats. Just good to get other perspectives.
That sounds so similar to my Corvette C8 but I`m definitely not having the 30mpg on a run claim (realise it wasn`t you saying that) best the C8 can do is about 23 and its much lighter and lower CD. Cracking video though 💗

I actually laughed out loud when you first nailed it Ben! That sound is epic 😍. I bet it's hard not to give it the beans all the time...
Lol 😂 we really gave it some beans when the girls were not in the car 🤯😅
Believe me it's so hard to control yourself, I still giggle when I floor it and I've had it for 3 years 😂
@@dadcars I think we did about £20 of fuel in about 10min 😂😂

Absolutely a rare sight and sound indeed! Thank you for your continued support, I really appreciate it 🙌
Spot on, it's the main reason why I couldn't leave the exhaust stock. It was way too quiet. Need that raw V8 noise.
@@YegaSRT it’s a sweet system! It compliments rather than make it raspy and shouty. To cure my curiosity is it a X cross type or H cross type system?

Another great Dadcars video! Always fancied one of these...

Fantastic! Congrats!! I’m glad you enjoyed the video and it was helpful 💪
I have one 2020 and I can safely say it’s the full package 😂 of fun and safety.
Vauxhall VXR8 has a Chevrolet LS2/3, and as they were built by Holden in Australia, it's a right-hand drive.
👏👏
Only other way for a modern American v8 in the uk I believe (specifically made for the uk) is the vxr8 gts featuring the supercharged LS engine
Cracking video Ben any teasers as to what's coming to the channel next 😀

Well this was unexpected - db9 to a huge American jeep! Skipped straight past the RSs and AMGs.
