It is pretty normal for us Southeast Asian if it is hot in the late morning, noon, and afternoon, but the heat in the evening and night recently becomes quite unbearable, like 30 Celsius with 70% humidity in the evening is just melting us🫠🫠
Fr, here in Borneo cant sleep without a fan or air conditioner cause even in night the heat is just unbearable
You should move to new Zealand
And now East Asia calls us lazy especially our construction workers
there is a reason why the afternoon siesta exists, after all
Actually experienced this same exact horror in Pattaya several years ago. The heat will just render anyone breathless and lethargic, unable to do anything except to lie down.
who cares about mongoloyyd face humans have to say
When I'm in Japan, I can walk 10+km a day, outdoor straight up under the sun, every day, out of the blue.
But coming back to Thailand. Most I can do is less than km a day. More than that I need to ride a bike or car.
I didn't need 10c to sustain my live or anything. On AC just 29c with 40% humidity would be great enough.
@@ianhomerpura8937 is that a the detective is already dead reference
Same here in Sri Lanka. Never in my life have I experienced a heatwave as intense as this one.
Yeah, but your not 150 years old now are you? Perhaps look as some temps, last century, it HAPPENED then too!!!
Lol. Check the temp and you’ll be proved wrong
In England of the 10 hottest temperatures ever recorded in the past 120 years, 3 of them were in the 1900s
Bro sri Lanka is near the equator, definitely it will be hot.
It’s 33 degrees here in Singapore just a 5 minute walk feels like a 20 minute walk under the scorching sun. The worse is humidity and less about heat even in the night.
Everyday in Sinagpore is around 30°C
42°C here in Dhaka, Bangladesh and the weather is only continuing to get worse in the coming days ! 🥵
Same in Kolkata
It felt like 45° celsius in Manila yesterday.😵💫
More trees less concrete
less F too..more people--->more consuming---> more hot😔😔
The minimum temprature at night are not low enough and long enough to cool the environment to prepare for next hot day. So the heats are accumulating in concreate buildings, aspahlt road, stones and sands, lakes and ponds, and the cycle of this heat accumulation/ retention continues until regular and long period of rain come to cool down.
The weather reports don't look like anything out of the norm but the heat definitely feels different this year. It feels like my skin is sizzling in direct sunlight, we're literally baking under the heat.
go and check news for last year it was record breaking. But this year it is even *HOTTER* !! Malaysia temp is at 36-38°C but with humidity, real feel temperature is 41-43°C !!!
Same here in the Philippines. 43°C heat index.
@@random-accessmemory9201 😭😭 lets suffer together
In india this yeat the normal temp is already touching 40-41 and feel one is 45-46 during day 😭😭😭😭💔
This is only April, look forward into summer like august and September, it’s gonna be toasting and frying into 45 to 50 degrees
they will getting hotter and hotter every year
You dont need more infrastructured, we need more trees
So grateful for the workers who carry on in these extreme conditions
You must keep those workers in extreme poverty condition to endure those jobs
El Niño does the opposite here in the US west coast specially in California. It brings a lot more rain which we badly need.
Same in Western part of Europe
Same in western Australia

It is particularly very hot this year here in the phils. We are used to hot weather but this is different. Its really scorching. If can really burn the skin especially during 10am till 3pm. Its not as humid before but the burning heat is too much. Turning on the aircon doesnt really help much. Something has really changed
Not only in the city. Even in a rural area, the heat is still crazy. Even in a high elevation location, it's still hot.
I live in the Philippines. As I’m typing this message, it’s only 10:55 AM and the temperature is 35 degrees celsius. However, with the added level of humidity, it ends up feeling like 40 degrees. Other provinces here even have a heat index of 47 degrees.
Sorry to hear it ...hope it will be better and summer gone fast my neighbor!
What humidity are you talking about ? Here is 45 plus since last month.
I remembered another el nino event when I was kid. There was drought and it was bad. But I don't remember it was this hot and unbearable. I also don't recall many bushfire back then. Now it is so frequent.
Being outside for a moment in the middle of the day makes me feeling sick. The heat is becoming even more unbearable, living in Jakarta making it worse for me.
Yet it's estimated to get even hotter here in the Philippines in May. 😫
You people need condom too.
Omg 😱
Don't worry rain will start in the 3rd and 4th week of May
And they drink a cup of coffee first thing in the morning.
@@kc_1018
Not everyone.
@@kc_1018its not just that... Some wore long sleeves and long pants to avoid skin damage like sunburn. Especially those who work under the sun like The farmers or the Tricycle drivers. These people dont care about making their skin lighter... But they certainly want to avoid sunburn.
I am Filipino I understand this far greater than you who don't see in our perspective
@@kc_1018u dont know what u talking about stupid!
I even drink coffee during lunch.
@kc_1018 have you never been burnt by the sun at the beach?
Temperature in india has gone above 45 degree celcius in all of the major cities. Even bengaluru which is considered the coolest city is experiencing temperatures above 38 degrees😢
its humidity , if you bath, you feel hotter. im in Philippines last week
It is so hot to the point where when i walk my usual daily commute from the metro to my office i will drenched in sweat like i was in a gym for an hour. It's a very near walk, just about 500m but it seems like i was walking for days in the desert.
Fyi, i live in Jakarta. So using a private vehicle isn't particularly the best option if you wanna get to your office on time.
Haha... a desert haha... bit dramatic.
@@mattardyantoriyadi in india too everyone feels live they live sahara desert in my region heat is dry so air cooler is best fan is not nice for this temperature
Yeah, it's supposed to be rainy season in indonesia but there's so little rain since the start of april. The scorching heat is getting unbearable
Jakarta ujan gede terus tiap hari
Hampir tiap hri smnggu ttakhir hujan trus ditmpat w
dampak Gunung Ruang jadi banyak hujan, tp hati-hati klo hujannya itu hujan asam
Pertengahan tahun nanti agak dingin
Indonesia bagian mana anda?
I planted trees and bamboo all around the house, but it's still very hot. Opening the windows doesn't help cause you're just letting in hot air....😢
Time to put up solar panels over city walkways. The shade will keep people cooler underneath them, and the power can be used where it is produced - to cool buildings and more.
Those panels would be stolen in no time 😂
@@MrHjacky Depends on where you live, I guess.
In my town in india heat reaches 43 degree Celsius daily in this month
Bro it's just April.. What's gonna happen the coming months
Which state bro? North india?
Till now I have heard telangana, orissa, andhra pradesh, maharashtra, karnataka, madhya pradesh and north Indian states are suffering from severe heatwaves.
Philippines now reaches 50-52 degree celsius, it is very unbearable.
That, that i rather die. 50-52?? Seriously? How can you still alive? How? That's half way to be boiled alive. Man, rn here in Jakarta it's 37° feels 40° and even in this heat i really just want to bury myself on ice.
38 here in Bangkok, man the rainy season sure is taking its time
My app says "feels like" temperature is 47° in Cambodia. Please remember our beautiful planet is a living organism and treat her with compassion ❤ it's the only way to turn this trajectory around 🌴♻️🌏
@@Liminal_Galaxiethis planet is a killing machine. The rising oxygen killed off the ancient organisms but made way for humans. This rising heat will kill off humans and make way for another species
Did you use a thermometer or just came up with that number for sensationalism?
END THE USE OF FOSSIL FUEL!
EVs, SolarCars and HydroCars should be used instead!!! Down with the oil companies!!!
Our indian pm still uses coal for electricity. What can you do when politicians themselves don't agree to stop using fossil fuels. 😢
So cold and cool here in So. Calif. I knew it had to be the complete opposite somewhere else. 62 been living here all my Life and this is the coldest and coolest I can remember, usually this time of year here a triple digit heat wave is highly possible.
Me in Russia wearing winter jacket in april
News:heatwave in Asia!
It's coming
It is so hot in Vietnam that my parents-in-law who live in rural Vietnam bought an AC for the first time in 50 years despite not liking the artificial cold usually.
Well we chose economy instead of the environment so what are we complaining for?
This is seasonal weather in a tropical region but, expect extreme weather events to become; more frequent, longer in duration and intensify at unprecedented rates.
The scorching sun is giving so much heat that burns all🥵
Jharkhand India 45-46°C celcius, feels like 50°c Ponds, Dams droughts, it's very Hard,
It's unbearable. I've been taking a motorcycle to the gym for years and i've never experience heat like this before, even in the summer. Songkran is truly a blessing, it not only cools you down but it puts water in the sky creating more clouds and potentially rain but I only wish it was longer
Its raining relentless in Pakistan April is much cooler than it used to be
we're basically living on the Sun's surface (for now)
CLIMATE CHANGE 🥵
Currently in Ho Chi Minh right now visiting from the USA, this heat is no joke. 😮💨🥵
You're there for the girls
I don't mind commuting outside since the breeze cools me down but I feel like burning in my own room because of the humidity, it's so uncomfortable.
Can borrow some of those sunshine ? Been raining almost everyday in singapore, laundry cant be dried naturally
Meanwhile here in Riyadh it is still almost cold at night
Jakarta usually 25 - 27' celcius, Today 34-37' celcius, feels like a middle east 🥵
No way jakarta temperature is 25-27°, for a big city its likely 32°+
Here in India it's 38' feels like 45' celcius
Philippines ranging 39 to 41
Cibubur ujan gede terus tiap hari. Adem aja
@@markerildimla2506 Manila reaches 50-52 especially in cities
In Thailand in the afternoon it is usuall7 35c or more
Typically hot in SE Asia in April. 40-42C is not uncommon this time of the year in Cambodia.
Im currently in se asia, yes it is super hot. What's legendary is that the locals are still wearing jackets and hoodies😅
South Asia too 🥵
Thank God not Pakistan this time. Excessive rain brought floods here 🤡😂
What’s the worst is the Water and electricity goes out mid day Lasting for hours or days if unlucky.
It's not just SEA - here in the Top End of Australia, we don't have the Winter months that southerners can look forward to (or dread). It's a blessing and a curse, and every Build Up (September through December) I've experienced over the past nine years has been worse. Thankfully we don't have the traffic many Asians are forced to endure - I refuse to go back to Jakarta and I expect that Manila is just as bad.
I’ve got news for you the El Niño wasn’t really that strong, and it’s been gone. The ENSO is neutral now. So that’s not it. Sorry.
2:06 where is Ho Chi "Mine" City????
Obviously, in my home because its "mine"
Typo lol
It's really hot......
I think we need more trees, I can't bear this heat anymore wtf
It's so hot. I'm sweating like crazy, even at night. And no rain for months. And water supply and river dry up
Of course, this time of the season, they call it SUMMER
No joke, I turned out attic into sauna-like place 😂 Actually, it acclimated my body and now, I'm even more tolerant to heat. Exercise is also important.
The humidity make it worse 😂
0:33 The contradiction of a student wearing a hoodie hahaha
Very hot in Southeast Asia
Because it's so hot outside, 27 degrees Celsius air-conditioned room feels so cold
I wouldn't worry about that retirement plan, folks.
Wah sepanas itu >
It's already starting to rain here sometimes in the afternoon or at night. Next problem will be too much rain and flooding. These tropical countries are cursed
Everyone must be careful with this heatwave. Trink more water and go to the shadow.
Less concrete, and asphalt please! Rip up those streets, micro mobility, plant lots of trees. Won’t solve the problem completely but will help. Here in B.C. Canada they are widening the Highway into a freeway. What a nightmare! That, and wiping out vast swaths of the remaining forests., to plant Christmas tree plantations. To do what? Build urban sprawl subdivisions in once forested areas. Come on people, be a little kinder, and not so all consumingly privileged to do whatever you want, and damned the consequences. Apathy, and cognitive dissonance has reached new highs. It’s despairingly bad.
"Everything happens for a reason"!
PLANT TREES PLEASE
Correction - 2023 was end of El Nina, this is not the 2nd year of el Nino. El Nino cycle started around 7 months ago, September 2023 (CSIRO), Get it right, very important.
Correctin it's La Nina actually.
El nina? 😂😂😂😢😢😢
It's la niña
Get it right 😂😂
@@AndrewWes2005 it's Le Nani
Other regions have cooler weather, so jealous, why do we have to suffer like this😢😢
Greenhouse gas producing countries should compensate the nations affected by these climate change. Poor countries are not that industrialized to produce high levels of greenhouse gases.
Here in philippines some people drink hot coffee
what? In this hot weather, that's really bad for health especially for people suffering from migraine headaches and gerd
good luck to the upcoming generations.
Even in provinces in the Philippinea the heat is unbearable. Time to plant tress and revive nature that we demolished in favor of malls, subdivision. What will happen next yr?
Meanwhile we had snow a week ago in north Europe… I’d rather have a heatwave 😢
How about Malaysia and Singapore?😊
75 degrees celsius is coming in a few years.
I'm going to find a cave or a cold storage facility to take shelter 😅😅
Huh hello qhere i live the normal temperature is 39-40 after Humidity ot frels like 45 ish.
I am dead but sadly have to work can't slack off.
In Pakistan rains have caused decrease of temperature and we are still using blankets, which is unusual. Meanwhile in 2022 during march april heatwave killed over 100 people. 🤡
Heat wave Also in srilanka' s coolest region
Esse é o novo clima do planeta de agora em diante.....o tempo em que se podia reverter isso ja passou.....

Is it because of production of batteries?

Try Alt+164 or 165.
To cool down, people here drink cold drinks or have themselves cold desserts
Eehh gue pulang kerja banget nih.

I think it's because of air pollution that causes high temperatures at night
So then why are they dressed for winter?
Media sucks. U showed CBDs in Vietnam, Thai and Indo. But showed stupid streets in manila. U got BGC, Makati, Ortigas, Alabang Too choose from yet this stupid network shines stupid side of manila. Why would go away from your office in Makati or BGC or Ortigas. Effin negative media.
Philippines Heat Index is unbearable
Pa feeling special ka na naman
if at least our country had gas and oil like rich ME countries we could do the same like them 45 degrees so what? turn on the ac 24/7, fly to europe as often, hire workers from outside to work in the heat lol here? hot, poor and polluted air still have to work and hardly pay bills. everyday suffering😅
Vietnamese government has cut down a lot of trees in the past 5 years. The whole country now pays the price for such stupid act. Meanwhile, Singapore treasures trees and it suffers less from both climate change and El Nino. Singapore is always the best Southeast Asian country.
same here in the Philippines. lots of trees cut down for road widening projects
It’s 33 degrees here in Singapore. Yes our officials treasure trees a lot. However it’s more of the humidity rather than the heat that is unbearable even in the night.
Traffic jam under tree? How is it better?
@@evernam993m8 yup it's hard to happy everyone, they will always find a reason to complain.
