I really liked this sentence at 24:00. "In heuristic and metaheuristic what is nice is that, if you have a good idea generally the inverse of that is idea is also nice". I have faced this fact in computer science and electrical engineering a lot of times, but I wasn't aware of it till now: ). I really enjoyed this lecture. Thank you!

I have the same question. My guess is that this one is “more likely” to converge to a better solution faster, but I’m not sure
