I gotta edit that yet. I like that saw. Every time I started it one of those knuckle dragger four stroke guys from the other side of the shop would come over and sniff around.
I've been looking for a backup in case this one dies. Craftsman offers one that looks like it could work for me. Its not made in USA but I grew up with the brand so I'm drawn to it.@@darrellpeak2914
Its true that a plugged screen can cause a loss of power. The reason I didn't look is because it sounded fine. I know what this engine should sound like and it didn't seem muffled due to a clogged screen. You are riught though, I should have mentioned it.
Lol, no OEM carb these days is 25 bucks. We're not in 2019 no more. Also, ruixing is not OEM, and a ruixing complete carb at 25 bucks is not worth it unless its a homeowner saw for some below average folk that cant bother to deal with a simple 2 stroke.
The dealer portal shows that ruixing carb for $24.99 but when I put it in the cart it has a new part number and now costs $59.99. Not sure what brand the new one is.
The absolute best chanell for someone like me learning the trade. Thank you for your time sir. If I could afford it I'd pay to spend week with you just shadowing and learning.
Love your little carb holder when changing the kit! I’m building myself one 😊
A piece of angle iron and two rods. Done!

Shouldn't you have the air filter on for correct air/fuel tuning.
What kind of lil electric screwdriver were you using ?
I can't remember the name but it doesn't matter as I've gone back on Amazon and can't find it.

@@TheGreasyShopRagI have one of those Craftsman drivers and it's great. It doesn't spin very fast, but that's perfect for this type of work
That settles it, I'm getting the Craftsman. Thanks!@@mendonesiac
I would have also looked at the spark attest.

@@TheGreasyShopRag it’s hard to hear clear sounds on my phone. Have you tried the new diaghrams they were pushing. Don’t hear about them now.
Are you thinking of the metal spiral wound diaphragms? If so, Husky is using them.@@steveriggenbach90
@@TheGreasyShopRag I haven’t seen anyone using them. So I don’t know if it’s worth the extra money.
Probably not worth the extra money.@@steveriggenbach90
Rarely get away with just fresh gas it seems! See ya next time!
Agreed. Later.
