    it's 2 am here , have been studying since 2 pm . new year resolution is still looking strong . remember you can rest when you die . till then keep grinding . stay hard 💪

      Resting only when you die seems unsustainable. Take care of your well-being along the way too 💪

      just a word of advice, we work hard, so that we can rest at early stage of life, not rest when we die.
      Take a adequate amount of rest after some time of hard work, reward yourself

    • @rail7646
      @rail7646 4 місяці тому +2

      actually resting when you die is bad advice, you have no idea what happens on death, maybe you grind in hell or are reborn as a bee that needs to get honey home asap. Rest before death if you want some recovery kick in that multiplies the efforts and results you can have.

    • @HenkSchreuder

      Take proper rest, you will burn yourself out no joke. The part of grinding that people forget is the RESTING for the next part of grinding.

    I think there is a still better way, just whenever you find something you should change, do it straight away, don't wait until some arbitrary time during the year
    If you wait for a while before changing, before that you will just indulge in whatever it is anyway because you know that it's your last chance to enjoy it, and this ends up in you failing later on because you've now reinforced the behavior strongly.
    I'll quit junkfood in 3 months time, so i'd better cram in as much of it now while I still can!

    0:53 I'm pretty sure that is also due to the fact that Christmas is in December and consumer spending is way up during that time.

      I agree with you to an extent; as a former equity analyst I also observed this effect even when the year end is not December. Even in the colleges end of semester is always the busiest season as everyone is trying to get thr required grades in before the end. It's just human nature.

    Switching to quarterly resolutions is a brilliant strategy for maintaining momentum throughout the year! 🚀 It effectively leverages the urgency of shorter deadlines to enhance focus and achieve more frequent successes, keeping motivation high and goals attainable.

      Same principle, what you should do is think about what do you want to achieve in a year, then what do you want to achieve in a quarter and lastly set goals every week. Thats what I personally do. :)
