Putting neutralizing gas on it pretty much stops everything, yeah that one is unbeatable
the only thing I can think of that might work is very gimmicky, but since the single target move doesn't have priority if you can somehow trick him into using that one choice scarf mewtwo outspeeds with me first. I haven't done the calc but even with its spdef as high as it is I don't think it takes one of its own attacks very well

What happens if you put neutralizing gas on your team? Does it shut his ability? Then cant you use other abilities to kill it?

Just want to point out that Sunsteel Strike bypasses abilities like Mold Breaker does, however, as a move instead of an ability.

That grimmsnarl person was on the right track. There was a super long comment on that video about 1 way where you potentially have a chance to win but only if you guess what frank will do for the first 2 or 3 turns perfectly
But the assault vest won't work with yawn plus Forest Nut could just heal any damage he takes, additionally if Henry is going to lose he can just use "Whoops it's my turn" to grant a timeout victory. Even then once the Grimmsnarl is gone, Henry can just nuke the rest of the team with Spicy Sprite. I genuinely think it's impossible to defeat Henry.
@@NaveKnights i dont remember everything the correct comment actually said but to put it simply forests nut cant get rid of yawn and if you build grimmsnarl in a very specific way when he is dynamaxed he should be able to tank a spicy sprite and yawn henry which again forests nut cant get rid of and then when henry is asleep bring in a choice scarf ditto and use transform and at that point it is literally impossible to lose but you need several grimmsnarl and 1 other pokemon that i forget and you have to perfectly guess what henry is going to do

@@Astral_Incarnate Thing is, Spicy Sprite is like +5 priority and Crits and flinches (and I think also hits 8 to 10 times) and from what I remember Grimmsnarl won't have enough priority to use yawn on Henry, also Henry could use Forest Nut to raise evasiveness provided he has taken damage the turn before. So when the next Grimmsnarl comes out, it'll just faint immediately.

If he had made debuff beam a fighting type move I think that would work because the only Pokémon that gets trace and isn’t a psychic type is porygon, so I think that would work. (I could be wrong
Gardevoir is psychic fairy and isn't weak to dark because of that
i know am late but i got an idea against the wonder guard henry, lead pyukumuku and alakazam, alakazam uses trick to give its choice band to henry, henry needs to go for an attacking move since he needs to kill the opponent's team and he is choiced so just bring a team full of pyukumukus and 2 alakazams just incase he still goes for burn up on turn 1 , he can't forest nut so he can't heal pyukumuku's damage and its game over u win
5:48 Trick-Or-Treat adds the Ghost type to the target, making it mono-Ghost, meaning you can hit it with Foul Play. Of course this doesn't matter because his Attack stat is 41.
Edit: This actually probably won't work because theoretically Henry is not weak to Ghost and therefore unhittable by Trick-Or-Treat.

If this was scarlet and violet it would've been easy by using:
Ceruledges with (Ally switch and flash fire)
And Farigirafs with armor tail and maybe Psychic Noise
And a Neutralizing gas Wheezing (Self destruct Armor tail and flash fire)
Or a Bulky/Endure Pokémon with gastro acid
And maybe a Pokémon with Encore
(Everyone has Covert Cloak and Protect)
Just get the infinite focus band procs and hit mirror coat.
Easy, 100% skill based, win.
If delcatty was in the game you could give Henry normalize by having another Pokémon with an ability taking/sharing move. Normalize would make all of Henry’s moves normal type. Then just use ghost types.

I was reading through the comment to see if my idea was though of by anyone else but I didn't see it... it probably won't get recognize but I've decided to share it anyway. neutralizing gas doesn't work to block imposter so just use 6 ditto with imposter, and then see who win, 6 henry or 1 henry with more HP
As far as I can tell, it does block imposter, so this won't work
I have way to beat anything Pokémon with two held items focus sash and leftovers plus it has shear cold and max speed and whatever makes it so where it takes fifty percent less damage from all attack moves no matter the type of move!.
If the problem with the first set was Tracing Wonder Guard, then why not have the moves ALSO have the effects of a Move like Sunsteel Strike where it Ignores Abilities? It's Mold Breaker built into the Move itself, bypassing the enemies' Wonder Guard.
See, my answer would have been Imposter Ditto, but Neutralizing Gas stops that
If you could figure out a way to get off a Skill Swap/Worry Seed/Entrainment/Simple Beam, then you could follow up with the usual Ability shenenegains. The trick is living a turn to pull it off.
I don't think half those moves work on Wonder Guard pokemon.

Just seeing the Pyukumuku strategy I was thinking, why not pair Innards Out with a pokemon with encore + disable? It has to go for Debuff Beam turn 1, you encore it and turn 2 you disable it, it will still die to struggle turn 4 😂.
Inner Focus still has to be ran for this strat to work. So if you could get a mon with Inner Focus, Encore and Disable, you could win if Wonder Guard was ran.
Let me run this down for everyone who thinks they can defeat it:
What can a pokemon use?
Abilities: neutralising gas stops them
Moves: +5 priotity guaranteed flinch stops them (no inner focus cuz abilities were stopped)
Items: none do anything.
Dynamax moves (cuz you can't be flinched if dynamaxed): remember how dynamax blissey was oneshot? Yeah good luck
So your only option is to have a dynamax mon with focus band, so you randomly survive all hits from it (reminder oops it's my turn hits 18-25 times, so you need to survive all of them at a 10% chance) and from that you'd only land 1 move. Now make it count in a way he can't heal with forest's nut
If we're assuming focus band activates all those times, why not mirror coat?
@@rhysofsneezingdragon1758 it's a good option, but it only takes into account the last hit, and it only takes into account the damage the pokemon took, so as you need to activate the focus band you'd be at 1 before surviving the last hit, so it would use that 0hp as a basis and do exactly 1 hp of damage

Well clearly the way to beat the Wonder Guard version is an army of Trace mons lol.
As for the Neutralising Gas version, the only thing I can think of is to bring something that can somehow tank one attack from Henry, then use one of the moves that change it's ability (Simple Beam, Worry Seed, etc), then bring out something with Queenly Majesty and it can't attack any more right?
That or be the luckiest person in the world with Focus Band or Bright Powder lol.
Edit: Oh crap wait it guarantees flinches... then I guess you have to bring Bright Powder on your mon with Entrainment or whatever and hope you get lucky lol. Or were all his moves also guaranteed to hit?
The way never miss moved work is by bypassing accuracy checks altogether, no amount of double team sand attack or bright powder will do anything to stop a stray aerial ace or swift,and Henry’s moves have that effect, so yeah I can’t think of anything to beat that

He could have had a move that had a secondary effect of wish (the move) so it would heal him from the pukumuku damage. Problem solved.

Prior to the neautralizing gas, I believe that a choice scarf, imposter ditto could've done something to Henry, but I'm not too sure

Frank was prepared for abilities like Flash Fire so it probably wouldn't work even if this battle was in Gen 9, the generation Well Baked Body was introduced in.
Frank was not prepared for flash fire, so if Dylan and Tobin ran flash fire he would have not been able to use burn up. However, I don’t know how far you can go with that. In the end it doesn’t matter because Henry ability was changed to neutralizing gas.
@@TheNepGamer he could still ohko essentially every single Pokémon with another move besides burn up (with +5 priority) so being typeless is more just a fun backup.
@@Rictavio27 Nah, just use Terrain Extender Tapu Lele, Queenly Majesty Tsareena, Flash FIre Ninetales and Coalossal. Lead with Tsareena and Ninetales. Psychic Terrain blocks all of Frank's attacks including his custom Burn Up. All of them except single target non priority Burn Down, which Ninetales and Coalossal are immune to.
Now regardless of if Henry uses Burn Down turn 1 or something else, use Encore with Ninetales. Best case scenario he struggles, worst case he kills Tsareena. Neither are a problem. If he kills Tsareena, switch in Coalossal in place of Tsareena, and hard swap in Tapu Lele. If Henry struggles, then hard swap Coalossal and Tapu Lele in. Next, have Tapu Lele Taunt Henry and Coalossal spam GMAX Volcalith. Finally use Trick Room with Tapu Lele and spam Taunt every turn after and say GG.
Trick or treat foul play would've been cool, but yeah he thought of foul play and gave it low attack, but trick or treat is such a forgotten move
My thought is that if we really wanted to keep Wonder Guard, he couldve given Debuff Beam the same characteristics as Flying Press, and make it a physical move. It wouldnt matter about damage, since its a 0 base power move anyway.

They should have made debuff beam use false swipe gimmick (can’t kill even at 1) and make it burn and flinch
Dazzling/Queely majesty/Armor tail does work against status moves.
The only problem with Neutralizing Gas, (in normal play), is that it's on Weezing... And as defensive as it may be, it can be completely walled by Pokemon like Excadrill, even if Weezing had flamethrower, I don't think it does much damage to Excadrill, not to mention the fact that Excadrill, is faster and earthquake, does massive damage to Weezing, no longer having levitation. As an ability it would be useful, if it were on a much better Pokémon.
I was thinking about inner focus skill swap and guard swap but yea trace porygon is a much easier one to think of

neutralizing gas is so strong, i brought a galarian wheezing to beat the elite 4 in radical red, just because it could turn off the strong abilities
31:38 Yeah, getting rid of all other abilities just leaves no opportunities open for ability strats and has no drawbacks.
Here's my idea: Lead with 2 Ninetales. As it's uncommon, he might not know it has Flash Fire and just hit the funny Burn Up button. This gives a free turn and a win. Encore and Disable to force him to use Struggle with his horid attack stat. Then bring in Weezing and Cursola. Neutualizing Gas does its job and Cursola hits Perish Song with 1 last turn of struggle. By the time the second duo is wiped, the timer hits 0 and Perish Song takes it out

I got an idea on how to beat Henry toxic and curse at the same time buy a ghost and poison type like Gengar that way toxic does more and with curse you use it if you survive that or just bring a whole team of ghost types that know curse that way you can get it off

Theres trick or treat, adds ghost type to the pokemon hit with it, ghost type soak basically. That would make it weak to foul play. Granted its the excluive move i think to pumpkaboo and gourgeist.
he couldve made a move have a false swipe effect so pyukumuku dying would only do 1 damage.
I think I know the answer and i’m only at 20:20 … the answer is pyukimuku and a Pokemon with Fissure. Fissure is a ground type O-KO move.
Okay i’m now at 30:31 after watching and this strat didn’t work. But what if there was an entire team of Pyukimuku? And the other team has Fissure and if possible the ability that guarantees all hits. Whether it be against others or receiving hits.
What about After You/Quash and Destiny Bond?
Or Perish Song with three Shadow Tag mons to prevent switching?

I feel like he should have used th code for photon geyser which has built in mold breaker. That with the burn up being not one time use and with wonder guard may work specially if he sets up a terrain or primordial whether himself.
Just imagine if instead of just flinch, Henry froze AND flinched the targets with all his moves… now wouldn’t that be an issue to go up against, wink wink Frank

@@SnowLily06 Likely not much. Would have to be a combination of Tsareena and another Pokemon to do the damage. But once the Neutralizing Gas was introduced then there was no stopping it.

I don’t know if this would work but assuming you could have 6 pokemon on your team I would try something along the lines of a Durant with truant (maybe two) and send it along side a pyukumuku which forces him to go for debuff beam, which wouldn’t kill your Durant which could then use entrainment, giving Henry truant, then it’s as lucky as hitting him with an OKO move (still need a pyukumuku beside whatever mon has the OKO move)
Just found out decided beam flinches, so instead of Durant you could bring a mom with inner focus that could use any skill swapping moves
Forest curse can give him grass type and then burn him to the ground

What if he can make an ability that sets up something like Ingrain/Aqua Ring on Entry, and heals anytime it attacks as well as heals status ailments.
