What a timely video! When I took my placemats off the loom they would have been woefully short with hemming. I was able to salvage them by using this technique and fringing. Thank you!

I'm going to have to plan my weaving, cuz I want to make mainly placemats - like 6-8. So I'd skip the one white block and make the grey longer. Looks like 4 white blocks per placemat.

So just a single stitch will hold when washed?! I've been zig-zagging. This is so much cleaner. I love your videos!
