For those serious track guys I thing you should make a video about the lightest wheels in different price ranges, with the actual weight based on wheel specs.
Sintech HD That would be a dope video, but I have a feeling the RPF1 is gonna be the answer for every price point. It's just too good for just about every use case short of a carbon fiber wheel. And if you can afford carbon fiber wheel, you for damn sure aren't looking at Enkei.
If you want a cheap monoblockforged wheel thats light, look at the xxr 527f. I just learned about this wheel. It’s only about $1400 a set and I think i’m picking these over rpf1’s
@@FitmentIndustries +1 on a video on a video that leans towards performance over style. Ie: Best bang for the buck in terms of weight and strength at a few pricepoints. Personally im looking for an affordable option to to replace the wheels on my tuned 2017 WRX base model. (Love the car, dont like the stock wheels) it handles well on the stock setup, but... can i have my cake and eat it too? Better looking wheel AND a slight edge in over all handling and performance? I want performance not stance to dictate the choice for the wheel. Everything on the web is about how it looks not how it performs. I think I Want a lighter, slightly wider 17x8.5 wheel that will ideally fit a 245 /45 pilot sport 4s (stock is 17x8 on 235/45) (My roads suck, and I occasionally blast gravel roads) Weight, strength, fit on stock suspension (with a performance wheel alignment) and an attractive design are my top priorities. Not concerned about fender gap, being "hellaflush yo" or screwing up the suspension to fit wheels.
I'm a little biased because I own these but my favorite flowform wheels are the TSW Snetterton. I also really like the TSW Valencia and Oslo looks really really good on hatchbacks
Hey sadly we do not have Bronze but we do have Polished and White! All else fails you could get the wheels from us and get them powder coated somewhere! bit.ly/2MZcMjI
Sounds sick! 🔥 We would love to see some more pictures of your ride with these new wheels! Upload some pictures to our gallery sometime! www.fitmentindustries.com/add-wheel-offset
I liked the video. I liked your website! I would love to see a filter option to only show flow formed rims. At the moment you have only forged. Which is mostly hre rims. Thank you for your videos.
Flow formed starts as cast wheel. The face-side of the wheel shares the same properties as cast formed, as it isnt touched during the flow form process; Only the barrel of the wheel is flow formed. That part of the wheel has increased strength to weight; not the whole wheel. Took me a spot of reading to notice this. A lot of these videos are promoting their goods, so avoid talking about casting. Thought i should share.
But it's a non-issue for road cars. If you manage to bend the spokes even on a cast wheel you're probably having to fix more damage to the car than just the wheel. The barrel is most of the weight and that's what flow formed wheels are solving.
You had to read to realize this? This video itself shows it's only the barrel that is semi-forged. Regardless, flow/rotary forged is better than cast by having a stronger and lighter barrel. Most entry level 18" sets are around $1,000. Enkei are around $1,200-1,600. Rays 57 are $1,800-$2,000 as are various other quality Japanese brands. Fully forged monoblock and forged 3 piece wheels are in the next price bracket, generally starting at $7-800 per wheel.
My two cents: aside from less weight, you don't gain much The "spokes" or supports or whatever you call this in cars, are still cast So from a strength perspective, it's the same as a standard cast The outer side of the rim is indeed more resistant and lighter
I would like to mention Koya Wheels. Made in Australia. They custom make wheels to alot of centre bore and stud patterns and are very reasonably priced. Have just ordered the SF11 in a 19. They do alot of colors as well.

@@FitmentIndustries If you could do it with the same wheel size, something common like 18x9.5 or similar
This was a surprisingly great list, but Enkei definitely needed a shoutout...

Esr rf2 for the win.
Yo that TSW Mechanica is slick! A set of those in bronze would be killer.

I'm sure you have a promo deal or something but it's weird to list these without mentioning Enkei Tuning.
Had tsw sebrings black rims on my ecoboost, upgraded to aodhan ds08 bronze rims on my GT
I had Motegi FF7 back in the day for my 1996 Honda Accord.
got myself 18" set of turbina, cant wait to be shipped, wondered the price was steeper per wheel then other designs till i realised its rotary forged

My first set of wheels was the Motegi FF7.
Great video! I am looking for wheels for my Alltrack and something flow formed is on my radar. I like the Rotiform Six but 29lbs is a lot!
I wish Konig make Dial-in in 18 inch.
Would these wheels pass the "pothole test"? The barrels are strong but the face/lip is cast,do they break the lip on a pothole?
Great video. You guys read my mind!!! :D

Thanks man, I didn’t realize this until now. Big detail to leave out by all these reviews.

Konig main production line are cast.
I wonder if the rfx 11 will look good on my passat 🧐🧐🧐🧐
DO A VID ON BROADWAY STATIC COILOVERS
Wait a minute if they can make them all floform at pretty much the same price point why even make Wheels cast anymore?
Great question...some styles are a similar price point. Some of the bigger names and sizes carry a larger price tag.
Dont forget hre, forgestars, vorseiner, and many many more
For sure, lots of other great styles brands out there. We just covered the ones we offer on our site for now.
I feel like I am back in Algebra class with all these letters and numbers

Well for normal driving, the cracks usually end up happening on the inside of the barrel so it's a win when comparing prices. :D
