I have watched an insane amount of tutorials to try to get a decent grasp on how to use Daz to make a VN. This is the tutorial that I am the most excited about. It's a game changer in terms of lighting continuity when you have reoccurring locations or cutting between two people talking with a quick switch of the key light side AND it's super simple. Brilliant. Thanks!
I've been following your tutorials for a while and they're really insightful and amazing, thank you! As a photographer I like the photographic approach you give, I relate to it and I find it very clarifying. In addition to the video: in photoshop the selected areas can be filled with the foreground color by just pressing Option + Delete (Mac) | Alt + Backspace (Win)
Wow that just opened a whole new world for me. I've been using Studio Light PRO Iray HDRI - 180 Maps (by Dreamlight) which has been my favorite for lighting but I didn't understand how it worked. I open the HDRIs in Photoshop and now I can see exactly what is happening. Well done tutorial and I look forward to viewing more!
@@GameDeveloperTraining yeah I was sick of irl tripods and fixtures in studio HDRIs. Knew there had to be a way to make them myself and get exactly what I wanted. Definitely earned the follow with this one.
This is fantastic, I have made them before but nowhere near like this, I just made a template of sorts from an existing HDRI and used exposure to attempt to emulate a HDRI, it always looked liked it wanted to work but never did.
After watching your fantasic turorial above, I wanted to download your template, you mentioned. BUT it is gone. Where can I find it. PLEASE help me and let me know. Thanks.
I was following your wonderful video. I tried following your template link, but it informed me that the link was not valid. Is there another link? Thank you.
Thanks man. I was unfortunately banned from Patreon for the content of one of my games so I had to move to subscribestar. There's a video on my channel where I talk about it.
Thundorn Games I’ll look into Subscribestar. If it’s an easy PayPal type deal I’ll get you a small amount of monthly pay for a while. I can’t do much cuz I create content myself full time and make zero dollars for my work but, I appreciate what you’re doing so I can sacrifice a $5. I wanted to ask you what specifically got you a ban but this is public so I won’t. However, I’m doing the same on Patreon so now I’m going to be a lot more covert about my work.
Yea be careful with Patreon. They don't want any kind of adult content on there and are very quick to ban people so do what you can to stay off their radar
Dependant on the size and complexity of the scene, using an HDRI map can save on memory and speed up your renders. It provides a consistent light source no matter where the subject is in the scene. It also means you wont have ghost lights cluttering up your scene.

Wow. You are a genius. This provides more possibilities.
This is great for rim lighting!!! I can see editing existing hdri images and adding custom rim lights with this approach. Thanks!
You bet!

can you do the animation tutorial on the intro?
I'll def do A video for animations. probably several. its quite time consuming so ill have to do them slowly
Damn, I cant use this because i no longer have PS, I use Gimp for things like that, is that doable ?
Possibly. I don’t use it so wouldn’t be able to say with any authority.
Binge Watching all your tutorials. Should set yourself up a Patreon.

I never knew this was possible! Very simple instructions. Now if you would just not use big-busted women it would be perfect.
Take it up with Daz Studio mate. They are the ones who sell them
What is the advantage of doing this vs putting light planes into the scene?

@@GameDeveloperTraining Thanks.
