@natej4230 I am glad they got it repaired. We have Whelen vortexes. They are ok, but I feel like the ones with the blowers are better than the ones with the speakers. But the nice thing about the ones with the speakers is the voice. My grandma has a thunder bolt 1003 near her house, and I hear it very well when it is not pointing my direction. It's only a 1/2 a mile away from my grandma's house. But the ones in my home town, which are the Whelen vortexes, this should be interesting. I was probably 10 or 11 years old and was playing out side at my baby sitters house . Her house was only about maybe 400 to 500 feet away from the siren, and it was not that loud to be honest. But it is probably just because the thunderbolt has a deeper sound. There is a video on my channel of the Thunderbolt near my grandmas. I was filming on the side of her house.You won't see it but you will hear it. You might also hear some f.s 2001s in the background. There used to be a thunderbolt 1003 near the park in my grandmas home town, but it stopped working. It got replaced with a f.s 2001. I wasn't able to film the whole test but I will have a redo video where I will be able to film the whole test.

Kinda. Its a 2001-SRN (3rd gen) from the late '90's at 138th and Ames Avenue, near hillsborough park. It has been repaired since this video.

I was at central high school when this happened and i live west and i hope nothing has been damaged severely there.
Waterloo and the western end of Elkhorn are in terrible shape along with Bennington Lake. We're all good over here though.
