Hey actionkid105 - been a fan of your videos for a while. Started seeing them after I made a visit to NYC myself. Your videos have inspired me to start making my own in my home city of Vancouver, BC, Canada. Cheers and happy walking!
You may also like VideoFromMoscow. This is a guy from Moscow, Russia making long video walks through the city. Quite nice! Especially Moscow old, historic areas... 😉👌! Bom!
Your videos are amazing, providing a true clear 4K experience... no shaky camera, no jarring pans. You know what you're doing. I and so many others appreciate it. I have a request... would you consider please venturing down Summer St in Forest Hills? I would love a video representation of a neighborhood I know well... Summer St, Winter St, Greenway South, Puritan Ave, Seasongood Rd, Greenway North, Shorthill Rd... that whole area. Thank you. Keep doing what you do, wherever you do it in NYC. You're amazing!
Forest Hills in Queens, is more of an upper middle class area as you can see from the beautiful houses, lots of Tudor and European style homes as well. The Tennis stadium at Forest Hills, used to be where the US Open Tennis event was held every year, until it moved to the Flushing Tennis stadium.
Forest Hills, one of the coolest i've been .beautiful in springtime. I'm waiting for a walk in Carle Place the land of Joe Satriani, Steve Vai and me ( hehe)
Cool Area .Would have liked some narration .keep in mind you don't have to narrate the whole video, you can make mention of things as you observe them.we enjoy your personal take on things .Can you go video the Lucky Chops in the subway .thanks .great work.
The architectural style of the buildings is very similiar to those in Germany. Except for the pathways (and how they're structured) the video could very well have been shot in germany. Interesting :)
4:24 Old School buildings apartments, I think NY i so big that if you gonna try to walk the whole city its gonna be reconstructed already after u gonna walk out, and the city became new again, because its gonna change
Ignatius Perfektus Possibly stay out of manhattan or look into a hostel in brooklyn. Yes they have hostels in NY. I was surprised when a friend stayed in one.
Why is the CONTINENTAL AVE named "Continental Ave"? Because many of the houses are built in European styles? Amusing… :-) - And TNX again for your work. Very informative.
Forest Hills use to be a gated and fenced community since they ruled that gated communities are unlawful now it's private and permit parking there. See these arches ua-cam.com/video/bz1QhMoKNxU/v-deo.html that's use to be the remains of a fenced off street.
Sadly the Food Stamp program will be shutting down soon . It would be interesting if you could capture some videos of panicked parents at Local Government Welfare Offices. That would make for some interesting viewing .😞😱

Why is the CONTINENTAL AVE named "Continental Ave"?

Amusing… :-) - And TNX again for your work. Very informative.
It’s the alternative name of 71st Avenue as it travels through Forest Hills Gardens.
Not many people on the street. Is it cold out?
