Hey! I would say whilst Moment has a popular app Filmic Pro is the front runner for iphone filmmaking for sure. There's a number of features and amazing shorts films that have been made with Filmic Pro like Tangerine (amazon prime) and High Flying Birds (Netflix). p.s Well jealous of your 12 pro max! : )
Actually good ideas. On the Iphone 13 and newer androids you do have more than one lens. I'm not sure how this is handled in FP. Also, the cropping will give you the same amount of noise as zooming in wouldn't it?
Thnaks! Yes you are right about the newer phones. You can't crop in a ton as that would introduce noise but I have saved a few iffy shots in post thanks to shooting in 4K. It kind of depends on the shot as to how much you can realistically crop in.
Yes. I am currently writing one! It's going to need some effects added in post which I will be doing for the first time (aaaah) but it is on it's way soon. : )
Hey! Yes. Especially when filming outdoors. The short film I uploaded recently was shot on the lowest iso setting throughout and frame rate of 48fps thanks to my NDs.

How to take a photo?
@@isotv5554 Use the Filmic Firstlight - photo app.
Excellent!
Thanks!
Superb! Love the b/w tip I was thinking how to do that...👍
Thanks so much! Yes I thought there'd be people who'd find that useful! Thanks for watching.
👍 Are there any comparable video apps in your opinion or is filmic pro the gold standard. I’m on an iPhone 12 Pro max

Hi there! Are you using ND filters with your phone when you film in low iso/frame rate?
Hey! Yes. Especially when filming outdoors. The short film I uploaded recently was shot on the lowest iso setting throughout and frame rate of 48fps thanks to my NDs.
@@SmartphoneFilmmaker Thanks a lot for the quick reply!
@@andyk6344 No probs!
