I think I met Dan in 2010 when the shop was in CT. A long time Nikon shooter, I wanted an M. I spoke with him (or maybe father or brother?) on the phone and then drove up from LI to make the purchase. Very knowledgeable and professional. I loved that camera, took some of my finest photos but film developing got to be a drag and digital was so much easier particularly if you shoot a lot of longer lenses and flash. Sold it and have regretted it ever since. I'm once again shooting film and pining for an M but Chicago is a helluva drive from NY! Excellent tour of the business and very spooky that this popped into my feed as I'm contemplating whether to jump back into the M family.

@@NoctiGirl I heard an update from the t "Lens shark" podcast today. The host vaguely said that Zeiss was still in the biz... but the quote he read didn't sound too convincing to me.
