JOEL TURNER @ SHOT IQ: 2010 RMEF PRO DIVISION Elk Calling World Champion - please if you give Joel a follow or checkout his online platforms let him know you heard about him from ElkShape. Also what was your favorite call he made? Man is an OG #separationisinthepreparation
We got elk not far from our house. I hear em every morning at 4:30 like clockwork.. I’m a newbie used to be City girl.. trying to learn how to use that call bugle😅. Prob scare em away!🤣
Well if we hear a bugle we almost never call because than they know where you are if you call, sneak in on that bull, also elk handle things different in different parts on the county (states). From what clients say, up in parts of Washington and Oregon the elk want call because of wolves. You can be a elk calling champ all you want, but hell we harvest 400 class bulls each year.
@@ElkShape I was thinking people could take what I said wrong and not saying you did The gentleman is a world champion and a world class caller and Paul does not claim to be a Professional but his knowledge on why, where and when to call Elk is on another level than anybody else ! Love your videos !!!!
Decent advice. I pulled out some nuggets, but this guy is annoyingly cocky with his instruction technique. Too much “what do we call that… class? Anyone? Anyone?” Just rubbed the wrong way. Too cocky with it. Paul Medel does a great job communicating and conveying this info without sounding overconfident

How did he make that glucking noise with his mouth? I can not figure this out
He was palming the large end of his bugle tube making an echoing doink like glunking

Bad ass
Every time I see this guy teach/speak I am stunned by his lack of humility. Not someone I want to try and embody.
Stop giving a fuck on what other people think of you. Simple.
Weirdo
Anyone rocking a high and tight in civilian life…
