I feel a little bad for Carlos, when he crossed the finish line there were only 6 or 7 mechanics on the fence celebrating for him, while Perez in P2 had around double the number of people. I understand that the team might be frustrated or disappointed with the strategy for Charles, but I hope the team can rally together to support both our drivers. We the fans will continue to support the team and both drivers on good or bad weekends alike!
it's Ferrari, you can't ask more
ok it was sad that the strategy didnt work like they wanted to but not supporting the other driver that won the race is just sad this will make things even worse in the next few races
I mean why would they be happy after all the number 1 driver has been robbed
@@darkghost4890 I dont get it why ppl are so stupid actually Carlos was robbed Leclerc had the first potition only because they forced team orders
@@user-li7xc5ol9b team orders that came after 10 or more laps because leclerc was definetly faster :|
the fact that there was a mclaren mechanic there for carlos but he didn’t get enough support from the team doesn’t sit right with me
A win is a win.. Carlos did it and he should be super proud and happy. No one can take it away from him.
9 people celebrating for Carlos excluding Caco. absolutely embarrassing behaviour from y'all if you compare that to how many other people have supported their drivers and celebrated them for their first win. the internal politics and culture it's shining through even more now and it's disgraceful. Checo p2 had way more people celebrating him too. a ferrari win is still a ferrari win even though y'all messed up. Carlos deserves so much better. don't even get me started on Charles. he also deserves so much better. both drivers do.
Ferrari literally grabbed the win from Leclerc and handed it to Sainz what else can you ask for?
Had Sainz won in Spain (as he could and should but hadn't) the whole Ferrari crew and all the tifosi would shine with happiness.
But this victory was at the expense of the faster driver and the championship hopes. A feast in time of plague.
@@TT-ce9sm Your thoughts are plague 😒
First of all thanks to those 6-7 mechanics for completely supporting Carlos and celebrating his victory.. I don't care what Tifosi thinks.. whether Charles was faster than Carlos or not.. Carlos deserved that win.. he was at pole he was faster throughout the quali.. and we all have seen how team puts Charles first even though when they say they don't have number 1&2.. Carlos is here to win too and it was a good decision to think for himself for once.. it was really lovely to see Rupert too with all the desperation in his eyes to see Carlos win. And whether Ferrari liked it or not.. Carlos winning was celebrated throughout the paddock and on social media. This was the best race and Carlos winning was the best moment of the year. People appreciated it.. we loved it! 🧡❤️
So incredibly happy for Carlos! First pole and first win to make it a memorable weekend. You deserve this so much, Carlos. You work so hard, especially to adapt to a car that doesn’t suit you. Look at you go now! YOU DID IT and we NEVER stopped believing in you!!!!! ❤️👏❤️👏❤️👏❤️👏❤️
Common, Sainz is an avarage Driver, Red Bull know it and Ferrari should also start to understand it. Hi do so much mistak es under pressure......
@@Centaurorome1 🤣🤣🤣 Try comedy. You’re a natural.
@@Centaurorome1 .. Clueless !!
Things I noticed in this video: Ferrari mechanics gets happier than the actual drivers. I love it. Vettel is F1’s cool uncle. Such a great guy. And I insist Charles is a really nice guy. He went immediately to congratulate Carlos, celebrated with him, even in a very frustrating weekend. He’ll be champion, I’m absolutely sure. Ferrari needs to keep learning from their mistakes, keep improving, and championships will come. Remember where they were a few years ago. Forza Ferrari!
I know but also it looking kind of fake, I might be wrong, I don't know, just my opinion...
There's no words to describe how proud we're all of you Carlos, oh man you deserved this so much, thank you for never giving up, and keep believing, you're definitely an example of constancy and perseverance, we're all so proud of having you in our team, keep pushing, VAMOOOOS! ❤️
i love that they included arthur’s win. i would love to see more of the drivers academy stuff on here
They needed something positive that included a Leclerc in this video after what they did to Charles.
I hope Carlos knows he is loveD and supported by so many people. He is a huge inspiration and his talent will place him really high!!!
LATAM TE AMA Y APOYA CARLO, SIEMPRE!!!!!
Carlos, Carlos! To end the pole position and race win drought on the same weekend, and at your old home too! Something truly special to be in Silverstone. What joy you’ve brought, and I am so glad we, the grid, and the paddock can rejoice with you ❤ VAMOS!
I absolutely love Carlos, you can tell he has everyone's respect. He works hard.
First pole and first win, he wait so long and work so hard for this, step by step until he got into the front row with a top team. Full respect for Carlos, well deserved 💪🌶 super happy and proud 🥲 keep pushing, there is still many who love you and stand behind you no matter what. Vamos!
[LONG COMMENT]
Knowing this comment section may soon be filled with discussions, I would like to offer my two cents (I know, nobody asked but respectful discourse is appreciated):
- Charles drove like a legend and clearly had the pace to get the pole & win despite the spin and then the bit of damage he took on. His less-than-overjoyed reaction is justified because the win was taken from him by no fault of his own again.
BOTTOM LINE: He deserves better from the team.
- Carlos truly had all the stars aligned for him this race week, but it does not mean he didn’t put in the hard work. He has capitalized on the opportunity to finally take his first pole & win. It is a shame that there is lingering disdain for this milestone due to rumored (or confirmed?) internal issues.
BOTTOM LINE: He also deserves better from the team.
Both our drivers have been working hard to do their best and keep improving. However, since Miami, there have been so many problems that arose and have been damaging to the team and to our drivers, especially to Charles.
It must also be said that blaming Carlos is not the way to go (yes, there are some voices doing so, thankfully not so many but they exist). Bringing the other driver down does nothing for the team. In the end, I hope Ferrari can become more accountable and learn from this!
TL;DR Elated for Carlos! Gutted for Charles. Concerned for Ferrari. We really hope Ferrari can get it together as a team and be truly united, because perceptions right now are all over the place and it’s hurting both sides of the garage…
Animation version when unsuccessful..
Carlos threw away the race lead. If not for Verstapen's issues he wouldn't have even had a chance
Facts
@@IvanCherganski Max was definitely on it all weekend, hence why I mentioned that everything aligned for the race win today! Also, at the first restart, Max was on soft tyres while Carlos was on mediums, he was bound to overtake Carlos anyways, right?
@@shanenarc Yep especially since Carlos is not nearly as good or fast as he is. My personal opinion is he gets too much slack from Ferrari while he's constantly messing up
Super duper happy for Carlos - sweet sweet Win!
Siesta time for Ferrari's strategists...again
Good one hahaha
Not so funny
Nobody can take it away from Carlos. He deserved that win. Congrats to our Chilli.
I cannot believe that people were booing Carlos for taking pole. I hate the crowd at Silverstone so much.
Not even an applause when he won. Ferrari Fand are the worst. No doubt about it.
I don’t think it was so much the “Silverstone fans” as it was some of the toxic Tifosi.
I thought the booing was for max lol maybe I’m wrong
Makes me sad to see how Ferrari only cares about Charles. And you can clearly see it in this video. Charles was always the first of the two being shown, the camera angles were centered on Charles. Even if both drivers were in the same camera shot, the center is charles.
It feels bad to see a lower than usual ferrrai team members celebrating for Carlos' much deserved win!!
VAMOS CARLOS!!! brilliant weekend drive. let's keep the momentum going 💪
How come there are only a handful of team members up there on the fence to celebrate Carlos' first win? Not a good look for the team
11:18 Sebastian Vettel is just the best... If I could be friends with any of the current drivers, Seb is the easy choice.
bittersweet moment, poor carlos
So proud and happy for Carlos. Congratulations hope theres many more to come for you and charles x
Just total and utter magic. I watched quali live and just knew it. Well done Carlos you wonderful, wonderful man x
How you know an autograph is truly priceless to someone: “Can you put my sons name on it?”. It would make it much harder to sell it, therefore it’ll serve as a priceless memento.
A well deserved win for Carlos. And a poor job by Ferrari, this would've been 1,2 if they had pitted both cars during the safety car. Whoever's in charge of the race strategies should get his act together, or give the position to someone else.
A 1-2 position would never be a sure thing if they both pit stopped at the same time. With checo and lewis both fast during the last 10 laps. But hey, your crystal ball must be amazing...
@@torquethetalk No need of a crystal ball, one only needs to look at the lap times. Carlos was fast with the soft, and Charles was fast enough with the hard in the last laps, no reason to think he would not have been much faster with the red like his companion. 1-2 was basically guaranteed.
@@nevarran yep. Post race and everyone is a f1 expert.
@@torquethetalk How thick are you, mate? Look at the lap times and you'll see it for yourself. No need to be an expert.
@@nevarran not even going to entertain an answer. Safety car plus rain plus broken wing play a big part in deciding off the cuff. But don't let that spoil your crystal ball theory. Good luck with your adventure.
7:09 kinda shows how divided the garage is, and this is just quali
I have enjoy looking back at when Charles Leclerc was 4th and Carlos Sainz 1st in after a 150 races in he career in F1 great for doing it at the Silverstone track at British grand prix weekend.
I’m so utterly happy for Carlos! HE DESERVED THAT WIN! 🌶🔥🔥🔥
Finally came the first victory Carlos in monaco because of latifi or monza 2020 with mclaren when the red flag stayed close deserves his best weekend in ferrari 👏👏
Well deserved win, Vamos Carlos! I've been so impressed your race management during this season. So good to see you smile! Keep pushing! Forza Ferrari!
Despite the fact that Ferrari made a big mistake again. I am so happy for Carlos !!!
Ferrari stop fucking around and let Carlos win! He has enough work to do keeping the rest of the cars behind to also have to fight his own team!
Ferrari annoyed for Carlos winning and not being a "team player" and barely celebrating his win after tells you everything you need to know about Ferrari and their support for Carlos. Hope Carlos can move onto better things Ferrari is toxic and it's clear for everyone to see.
Truly a well-deserved win for Carlos! ❤ such a pity to see immature "fans" throw hate. Even saw some comments calling him selfish this race-which isn't true, in fact, what he did was more than just a damage limitation. we wouldn't have seen a ferrari P1 if it weren't for him overriding the strat call. and mate, if yall think calling him selfish will make him a less of a driver, well every racing driver have that mentality in them. and he has every right to fight for that first win just like everyone else does. this is racing. it just so happened another mishap on strategy calls went in the way of charles but hating and disrespecting a very special moment of another driver will never benefit the team. we should be glad we even got to see a ferrari on that podium despite the failed strategy.
anyway, congratulations again Carlos! brilliant weekend drive 🙌
How can you say it's a deserved win when he lost the lead TWICE to Max and was never faster than Charles that had front wing damage? It's great that you like the guy, but he most definitely didn't DESERVE to win on Sunday.
he redeemed himself and was in the challenge for the fastest lap towards the end. even denying the strat call that could've cost the team a podium for both cars. he might not be in charles's raw speed but his quick thinking definitely earned him and the team that win. you cant just be fast in racing, mate. that's why i say he deserves it because of the IQ, patience and maturity he has shown this race despite being pressured by the rest esp during the sc, yet still won.
Agreeed !!! So well earned !
honestly feel bad for charles ferrari’s strategists screwed up a possible 1-2 for a 1-4
If Carlos Sainz has a million fans, I am one of them
If Carlos Sainz has ten fans I am one of them
If Carlos Sainz have only one fan and that is me
If Carlos Sainz has no fans, that means I am no more on this earth
If world against the Carlos Sainz, I am against the world.
10:45 oh the joys !!🥰
No more team orders! would be unfair for both drivers as the gap between them is only 11 points!
Vamos Carlos !!!! So exciting and so happy for his win xx well deserved and hard earned x
WE ARE CELEBRATING WITH YOU, CARLOS!!! VAMOS!!! a grand prix winner, well done!
If you could just stop dropping charles that would be amazing thx
Thanks for the video it's a special one❤️No one deserves it more than Carlos, all these bad luck and up and down in his whole career he finally got the thing he wants since he's a child🥺We will keep supporting you as always

Charles Leclerc 🙌✊✊👏👏👏 best driver to day f1!
Congratulations to Verstappen and Red Bull for 2022 WDC and WCC. That's all this Ferrari peformance ensured. Congrats.
Great strategy, great win. Although some "fans" don't understand that this was the only way to have a Ferrari driver winning as anything else like double stack or having Charles pit instead Carlos rather ended up in P3+4 result as neither could have pulled away and Carlos could not hold up Hamilton & Checo on much older tires if he had not pitted and even on new tires Charles would have lost out anyway on his own and without DRS and Hamilton instant on his tail. Congrats to Carlos! Forza Ferrari. Well deserved. Vamos!
Double stack would have given a 1-2 to Ferrari or at worst 1-3. Both are better than 1-4
@@jinoss1768 There was no way for 1+2. Lewis and Checo were clearly faster than both Ferrari before and after the safety car no matter what tires they had on. Carlos had massive understeer problems and Carlos had a damaged front wing. If Carlos not already dropped back on double stack then they past him right on the restart anyway. He couldn't hold up Max earlier either. So Lewis and Checo would been right behind Charles and as soon as DRS was enabled they'd also past him even on new softs.
The only way to win was having Carlos pit because he had much older tires than Charles and keep Charles out to guarantee track position 1+2 on restart so Carlos could pull away before Checo could catch him. Yet Checo catch up on him 1.5 sec within last 3 laps. Two more laps and Red bull would have still won.
@@andrearojas1248 Double stack was easy, just do what mercedes always does. Let the second driver back up to the top of the delta. They would've had a 6-9 second gap between charles and carlos for a double stack. Would have been easy. It just shows Ferrari strategy team are too risk averse/aggressive and are not daring to make the decision.
@@DK-vw1of Carlos could not stay long in P2 even if the double stack worked. He had massive oversteer problems so he needed Charles as Wingman. Charles would been on his own with Checo and Hamilton coming with DRS. New tires would have likely not saved him either so the chance that Ferrari would have lost the race was very high at least.
@@andrearojas1248 Charles managed to battle Hamilton and Perez while on old hards and with damaged. If they pitted him for softs, there's absolutely 100% chance he's on the podium. The fact that make up these scenarios show how subjective (guessing by the name, you're spanish/speaking) you are.
🏎
Well at least one Leclerc was happy that day.
Ma sbaglio o nel momento delle firme leclerc dice sottovoce bastardo a carlos.
Potete confermare Ferrari grazie
Ferrari would have lost a podium if Carlos followed their ridiculous instructions that day. Carlos' well-rounded expertise, unwavering determination, and belief in his abilities not only enabled him to achieve his first win but also helped him navigate through this bittersweet race.
You can rewatch this so many times, but you can clearly see in which direction this race was going. Get wiser every year, Ferrari team. Stop digging a hole and repeating the same mistakes.
