I ADORE that roses book, and as you probably guessed, the looser illustrations, but also the finished paintings, the color stories are just incredible. I think I will have to pick that one up. I am a graphic designer and I was looking for flower/botanical books for inspiration. I was shopping on Amazon when I came across the small Flower Colour Guide book and now I know I will benefit from ordering a copy. Thanks for the review.
The books look awesome! I must make space on my bookshelves for some of those books, especially the Flora book by DK. DK books in general are always very good, very clear, and educational with stunning illustrations.
